About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

About: Hi! We’re Will and Sara; newly weds with a 1.5 year old Golden Retriever! We love to welcome in new dogs and help dog parents feel at ease knowing their dogs are taken care of! We feel comfortable administering medicine and making sure any special lifestyle needs are met! We have a large fenced in backyard, a flexible work schedule allowing your pet to be cared for as much or as little as they need, and an eagerness to make your dogs feel loved and cared for while you’re away! Sara works remotely at home with the ability to be with the dogs all day. We wake up early, start the day with breakfast and a walk, then routinely take the dogs out for fetch and potty breaks in our backyard throughout the day! We have a large fenced in backyard, a dog-proofed layout with breakables put away, water and food bowls easily accessible from the kitchen and an open layout that allows the dogs to easily stretch out and play where they’d like!

About: Hi, all! Years of living with and caring for pets and working as a veterinary assistant has led me to be attentive, knowledgeable, and most importantly, so loving to any and all animals. As far as my schedule, I am completely open during the daytime. I work evening shifts five days a week, but my schedule changes weekly. For walking: 1-2 walks a day from the hours of 8-3. I can also do night walks on days that I work, outside of the hours of 3-10ish, depending on the day. If I am off, I can walk at any time in the day or evening. I am willing to make multiple visits in a day. For House Drop-Ins: Similar to above, the evening times may vary. For House Sitting: I receive my schedule weekly, so I am available for overnight at least twice a week. However, if consecutive days are needed, I will be available for morning and afternoon care, but will have to leave for work and return afterward at night. Again, this time varies, so it will be either 3-8:30/9ish that I am gone, or 4-10/11ish. I can understand if this is an issue, but am willing to walk during the day, feed, and let out for a potty break as soon as I am able. I do not accept pets in my home because of the other animals already here, but as far as in yours, I am clean, courteous, quiet, respectful, and most importantly, there to keep your pet well-cared for, entertained, and at ease.

I have a very flexible schedule so I basically have the whole day to come take care of any pets! I have plenty of time to come and hang out with your furry family! I have four loving dogs that get outside all day long because I have so much time during the day and a very large fenced in backyard. We go on walks all the time! We can have a pet play date if your pet likes other dogs. If you need your pet needs to crated, I can do that. If they need soothing music put on, I can do that too!

About: Horses. Currently have 2 horses and have been around them since I was 3. Have only had my 2 since 2010. Also have 2 dogs that were originally from the Wake County Animal Center and fostered by me and have experience administering medication as needed for multiple species. I have a rabbit, dove, cat, and chickens. I currently work full time as an Animal Health Care Technician so would be available for overnight care, evening and early morning walks. On days I am off I would be happy to do middle of the day walks and help as best as possible!
