I love to play, walk, bathe, swim, and do pretty much whatever it is your animal needs. I am comfortable with all ages, sizes and breeds. If needed, I can administer medicines. Whether that is planned vacations or when life likes to kick you down, we are here to offer a boarding experience like no other. My family and I have always owned dogs; I grew up with them and trained them all my life. Our family is also part of a rescue. So what better way to use our land than to also take care of other people's dogs! We are located in the northern part of Alamance County. We offer 98 acres of land with several walking trails next to a flowing creek, a clean and swimmable pond with a shallow area, a gated outside area with separate runners for the cool days with a nice breeze, and an inside area with luxury crates equipped with barn doors and beds inside of them for all of our furry visitors to relax and feel right at home! Here at our farm called The Retreat, we want your pet to have their own getaway while you have your own getaway! Currently, we are usually available 24 hours a day for your pet. I work from home as a bookkeeper and as a Realtor, so I’m usually here working from home unless I’m running to show a home. While I’m out, I have my wife and the rest of my family to cover my spot until I return. So, your pet should always have someone here to care for them! Here, your pet will always have someone to care for them throughout the day, so you can trust they are in the best of hands. We also understand that it’s a lot of land, so we offer clip-on air tags for your dog's collar while they stay here for extra safety and surveillance. It is our goal for our furry guests to have a safe and stimulating environment at all times during their stay!

About: I've always loved cats. I had cats growing up in New York, a house full of cats. My mother was allergic to cats so until she passed I wasn't able to have any cats of my own. But now we have two cats. I watch them when my family's out of town. I feed them breakfast and dinner. I play with them. I pet them. I love on them and most importantly I treat every cat with the upmost respect like they are little people.
About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. My mother was a dog sitter when I was younger so that has made me comfortable around most if not all breeds. I would help her with the feeding while she took them out. Now that I’m older I have two huskies and a cat. My goal is to eventually have farm animals, mainly as pets 😂. So, my love for animals is quite enormous. I do currently work from home M-F. I can give potty breaks every 2-3 hours while working. Since I work from home your pet would have to be well mannered while I’m on the phone. They of course will be welcomed to lay around me while working and will be loved on the entire time 😊. I have a huge yard, 2 acres worth. About 1/2 an acre is fenced in for the dogs. I have 2 spunky huskies well one tends to be more lazy than anything and I have a cat that loves our dogs.

About: Hi there! My name is Hayley and I have an extreme love and passion for ALL animals! Since I was a baby and got my first cat at 6 weeks old, I have grown up in a household full of animals with everything from cats, dogs, chickens, rabbits, you name it, and those animals have taught me so much, enough that I want to give back to the local community and their animals! My specialties are with cats and dogs of any age, though if you have another animal in need of service, I am open to anything and ready to learn! I strive to maintain a clean space and comfortable for my pets where they can relax and follow their usual routines with no worries. I maintain consistent feeding schedules, provide daily exercise and playtime, and ensure their safety by always supervising. They have designated rest areas (although I do allow animals on furniture), plenty of enrichment activities/toys, and lots of affection of course! I also have a large yard where my dogs love to run around and play with toys (when outside, they are always supervised) and a quiet neighborhood that is perfect for walks! I am always keeping my eyes on them, making sure they are healthy, eating/drinking, and exercising correctly. In a clients home is a bit different as this is not my personal space. I tend to follow the routine/schedule exactly as written and complete the usual duties such as feeding, walking, playtime, waste/litter cleanup, etc. I keep the home clean, ensure safety over the property and animals, and provide regular updates and photos to owners during each visit. I always double check and make sure all pets are comfortable, safe, and have everything they need in their space before I leave.
About: I’ve taken care of animals for as long as I can remember. My mother was a dog sitter when I was younger so that has made me comfortable around most if not all breeds. I would help her with the feeding while she took them out. Now that I’m older I have two huskies and a cat. My goal is to eventually have farm animals, mainly as pets 😂. So, my love for animals is quite enormous. I do currently work from home M-F. I can give potty breaks every 2-3 hours while working. Since I work from home your pet would have to be well mannered while I’m on the phone. They of course will be welcomed to lay around me while working and will be loved on the entire time 😊. I have a huge yard, 2 acres worth. About 1/2 an acre is fenced in for the dogs. I have 2 spunky huskies well one tends to be more lazy than anything and I have a cat that loves our dogs.
