About: I was raised on a farm with cats and dogs. I have a plott hound mix, a pit bull, a lab, and a sassy calico cat, all rescues, of my own. I have a lot of compassion for animals and treat them like members of the family, albeit spoiled ones. My goal is to keep your pet as comfortable as possible while their human(s) are gone. I am comfortable with cats and small to large dogs at any energy level. My neighbors, vet, and friends can provide references, if needed. I work in education, so my summer schedule is wide open. Nights, weekends, and some holidays are possible during the school year. My family had a dog when I was growing up that I helped care for and I’ve loved taking care of pets ever since. I will treat your dog like they’re my own- with so much love, lots of playtime and belly rubs, walks, and snuggles if they like. My schedule is extremely flexible during the week/weekends so I will have time throughout the day to spend with and care for your pet. Your dog is welcome to come stay at my house if we think it’s a good fit. I don’t have a fenced in yard but I do have a spacious yard that your dog can explore and run around. About: I can’t remember a time in my life that I didn’t have a dog (or two). Big dogs, little dogs and in between. Now that I am retired, I devote most of my time to caring for my two “baby girls”. Daisy & Bella are litter sisters although they don’t look a like. They are Teddy Bear/Schicons (1/2 Bichon Frise and 1/2 Shih Tzu). They are inseparable, looking out for each other or wrestling together, where there’s one there is the other. They do play well with others. My sister’s little girl is a Shih Tzu and she is an only child, we laugh and call her the Princess. I sit for her for a week or long weekends when my sister visits her daughter out of town. She also comes over for play dates. They all respect each other’s boundaries and the Princess has learned to play with “the Court Jesters”. My dogs and visitors are allowed on furniture and beds. My yard is not fenced, but I do have a radio frequency collar system that I can use or walk on leash per owner’s preference. I live a long way from the road so it is safe. We go on golf cart rides around the property in the afternoon, my girls look forward to it. I am retired, so unless I have a doctor appointment or go grocery shopping, I am home 100% of the time. I do go to church on Sunday morning. My girls have the run of our home but I can use a crate if owner desires. I will treat your fur baby like I do my own. They are my #1 priority, always. They have a feeding schedule twice daily with a few treats throughout the day. They get lots of love and snuggles to their satisfaction. I encourage them to play with toys inside interacting with each other and myself. They will get plenty of exercise indoors and outdoors. I refreshed their water several times daily.

When I go back to work, I can still board dogs all days of the week, but would just be away from home during my working hours. “Omg my doggy had the best stay with Ashley and her family. My boyfriend and I were out to visit friends for a day and then Greenville for vacay and my dog's daycare was closed on the 4th for boarding. I haven't used Rover in years but I was so glad to find Ashley's information. I worry when I have to leave my little guy anywhere but I felt like he would be in good hands with her. “Even though it’s a bit late; me and my girl were headin outta town for Valentine’s Day weekend; found Catie and decided to take our dog Buckeye to visit with her dogs to make sure they got along. After a few minutes everything went well and a couple weekends later we dropped buck off at her house. Throughout the getaway she sent us updates constantly along with pics and a couple videos of her dogs and Buckeye playin and havin fun. She kept our nerves at bay and when we picked him back up he was worn out from playin. We will definitely be using catie from now on. Thank you so much for babysitting Buckeye.”
