“My dogs, Masha and Mindy, love coming for an overnight at the home of James and Amy. The dogs are excited about their new adventure when we leave them. And the dogs seem very happy and well taken care of when we pick them up. James keeps us posted via text during our absence.”

“Amy kept Moose for his first time being away from us and he was very well cared for. He was nervous when I dropped him off but he was so happy and comfortable with Amy when I picked him up. We will definitely use her again next time!”

“Kaitlyn and her family were so wonderful to our dog, Cocoa! They treated her like their own and she was so spoiled staying with them! Kaitlyn sent several photo updates throughout each day! She took Cocoa on multiple daily walks, made sure she ate her food, gave her a new toy, and even sent her home with a new bandana! It was purr-fect!”

“Pamela is an absolute angel and true animal lover. I run a local dog rescue and was in need of a sitter for one of our foster pups for the holiday weekend. Pamela went above and beyond for our sweet Paddington. She consistently sent updates/pics , took him on multiple walks per day, and showered him with love and affection. Moreover, she exceeded her duties as a sitter by helping market and promote Paddington in hopes that he would find his forever family. She sees the beauty in all dogs and is one of the most compassionate and genuine people I have met. I understand that it’s unnerving to leave your fur baby with someone you aren’t acquainted with. However, I can say with the utmost confidence, Pamela will love and care for your dog to the highest regard. You won’t find anyone more amazing than Pamela.”

“Sharon was amazing to help us when we were in need of someone to board our dog. She took him in last minute, loved on him, and went above and beyond for our boy! We are so thankful for her attentiveness and care. We will be booking with Sharon again!”

About: I have taken care of dogs my whole life. I am a trustworthy retired RN who is looking to spoil your dogs while you are away. I am a non-smoker and very active with walking/hikes and pickleball. I am retired now for 5 years and spend my day actively with hike/bikes/pickleball to name a few activities. I am available most days with proper notice. I do not have a fenced yard but do have a 7-year-old dog named Dori who gets her exercise walking daily. If you pup likes fenced in yards caring for your dog would be better at your home.

“Mary was an outstanding sitter. My dog is handicapped and needs special care. We also had an extended stay while we were out of the country. Mary took special care of my dog and she’s doing great. Thanks Mary!”

“Megan is such a wonderful dog sitter. Her love for dogs shines through and when we picked up Penny, Megan gave us feedback on the stay and how everything went. Penny was obviously comfortable with her and now I know we have a knowledgeable, trustworthy person we can count on to care for our dog when we are out of town.”

“Tia is awesome! My pup’s first overnight and day camp went great. She sent lots of cute pics and the sweetest little write-up of how his stay went. I felt so comfortable leaving my little guy with her, especially after getting to meet the other dogs and seeing how calm and loving she was in her interactions with all of them. We are so grateful that our dog has a safe and nurturing place to socialize, play, and tire himself out! We will definitely be back and he can’t wait 😊”

About: I love all animals and taking care of them is a dream job. I live in the Franklin NC area year around. I was raised with Boxers and have been a dog momma for 10 rescues. I have an open schedule however I have a wedding in June and a cruise in August. I am flexible and can be on call if necessary. My pets are inside animals. I have 8 acres with a fenced area and 2 friendly labs. I never allow my dogs off leash unless they are in the fenced area. My dogs are never left unattended outside the home. My cat is an indoor cat.
“Caitlin was an amazing sitter for my little Bean. It was my first time having a sitter for my dog. By day two of day care, Bean was as excited to see her as she was to come home at the end of the day. She sent pics and gave me peace of mind. I’m so grateful I found her.”

“Laura was excellent in every single way. Communication was fantastic, she looked out for the well-being of our pup, and she was very kind. Highly recommend and will rebook again soon.”

“Autumn took great care of our two dogs while we were away! She sent us regular updates that showed how well much fun they were having. Lenny and Roger will definitely be back in the future!”

“Michelle was fantastic! Zorro was spoiled like one of her very own. First time I’ve left him with Zero concerns over his well being and care. Spectacular! She even took him for a ride in her ATV which he LOVED. He looked at the ATV when I picked him up and looked at my car and back at the ATV like nooo I want to ride in that! Michelle is very sweet and a stellar pet sitter.”

“Rebekkah did drop by visits for my two cats while I was out of town and was great! She was responsive, caring and took care of all their needs. I would definitely book Rebekkah again and would highly recommend her.”

“Erica is wonderful! Such a sweet spirit working with our animals. She’s punctual, thoughtful, and works with your needs. Will definitely continue to use her services for our fur babies. 🥰”
“Frankie did a great job with Roscoe, the fact that he was comfortable enough to have a little play time, as he is very skittish around strangers, is a relief. I am now more relaxed knowing that if I need, there is someone that I can trust to take care of him.”

“I ended up needing a short-notice, “panic” cat check-in option from Rover before a 10-day trip. Lillie responded and communicated promptly. Her response saved my trip, She did a pre-trip visit to check out my 5 fuzzies, then dealt well with them for several food and water refill and social interaction visits. When I need cat sitting services again, I will be going back to Lillie.”
“Debbie is the absolute best! We've been so anxious to leave our kitties when we're out of town and Debbie puts our mind 1000% at ease. She goes above and beyond with our sassy younger cat and older cat who needs medication. We feel so lucky to have found her!”

“Ashley did a great job looking after my 2 large dogs and cat while I was away. She was flexible when our schedule changed, professional and very easy to communicate with, keeping me up to date on my furwads and drop-ins. I highly recommend:)”

About: I’ve cared for dogs, cats and hamsters for a couple of years first was my family dog, then my cat in college and roommate’s hamster I only work 2-3 days out of the week for only 2 hours and I am free weekends. Which gives me enough time to care for your pets and spend time with them. I can also care for smaller pets like fish or hamsters if needed. In my home, which is my dorm, I feed my cat twice a day and make sure his water bowl is always full and clean out his litter box at the beginning of each day. In case of a fire I grab my cat with his emergency bag and I have also helped my roommate get her hamster out during a fire drill. I always make sure to spend time playing with them as well. For clients I make sure to care for their pets as I would want anyone else to care for mine; providing the food as asked by the client and cleaning after the pet as asked which includes cleaning the litter box or going for walks and playing with the pets.
“Natalie was the best! She too care of my two senior cats while I was out of the country. She gave regular feedback with photos and was very generous with attention and treats each visit. I was able to relax and enjoy my trip knowing that Natalie was taking care of my girls at home.”

About: I have had many cats growing up and have always loved them! I am very used to cleaning out the litter box. I love to play and snuggle with all cats! I am very reliable and will make sure your pet gets the best care!
“It has been such a pleasure getting to know Brinkley and having her watch my pets. She's an awesome, positive, and very responsible caregiver and I highly recommend her! Thank you Brinkley for going above and beyond to care for my home and animals.”
About: Hello, my name is Nick. I have been working with dogs for a long time and it is one of my passions. I have two dogs of my own one named Nala whose breeds we don’t know but she is a sweetheart who loves everyone and another named Stewy, he is an Australian Shepherd and Husky mix and he also loves socializing with other dogs. I also have experience volunteering at a local shelter. I enjoy getting to meet and interact with new dogs and your dog will be in great hands! Pet care is a regular part of my daily and weekly routines. I have my own dogs who love socializing with other pups. I already spend much time everyday taking care of my dog and will provide the same level of care to your pet as I would mine! We have separate rooms we can put our dogs in if your pup would rather enjoy some alone time! I have a balcony which is safe and enclosed which the dogs will always have access to as well as access to a fenced in dog park. He is very sweet and playful and is not aggressive whatsoever!
About: My first word was "cat" because of my attachment to our family feline, Miss Mystery. This first utterance foretold a life-long love of animals though dogs would become the norm in my household. Throughout high school, I volunteered at the local Humane Society and one of my first full-time jobs was a Dog Rescue Attendant. At twenty, I adopted my first dog (outside of family animals, of course) -- a dachshund mix named Leelu -- and she was my steadfast companion for 14 years. I now have a 3 yr. old lab-Australian Shepard mix - Gidget. Both of my girls have taught me invaluable lessons about dog care; specifically, I've learned a lot about different breed personalities and needs, puppy training and enrichment, senior dog care, and limited mobility dog care. I aspire to be the best dog mom possible and I will bring that same energy and commitment to working with your pet. I recently returned to North Carolina and I'm in the process of looking for full-time positions in my field. This process can take quite some time, but allows for a very flexible schedule. I'm available during the week from 8:00 - 7:00pm - late evenings upon special request; same goes for the weekend. I want your animal to see me as a companion -- a human they enthusiastically greet when we spend time together! Your pet will be treated with the same doting affection I lavish on my own pup. If I'm taking your dog on a walk, I'll make sure they're exercised, but also, they'll get plenty of time to interact with their surroundings and enjoy the sunshine. If I'm dropping in for a "play date," this would look like whatever your dog enjoys the most -- maybe tug-of-war, hide-and-seek, fetch, or puzzle games (every dog is different!). Regardless of the service, your pet will get lots of attention and belly rubs (if that's their thing). Ultimately, I will seek guidance from you, the owner, and follow your lead on how best to spend time with your pet!
About: I’ve owned cats since I was 5 and dogs since I was 10. Both puppies and seniors, so I have worked on taking care of them for a long time! I have also gained experience in the pet care world through working at a dog daycare! I’m currently attending school full time and work part time, but I am able to do evening and early morning walks! My availability does not change much unless I’m away from school! I will not be able to take care of dogs in my home because of the two others I already have. In others home, I will be able to follow details given. I can let dogs out, walk them, feed them, crate them, or whatever is needed!

“I had a last minute cancellation and Amy was able to fit me into the schedule. She gave me updates and made me feel at ease. I would 100% use Amy again and highly recommend her to anyone and everyone looking for great care.”

About: As I partner with pet parents, I look forward to welcoming and honoring each pet's spirit and unique needs. Growing up with animals taught me how to truly listen to these sacred beings and notice the subtle ways they communicate. I can promise that I will show up for every animal trusted in my care the way I'd want someone to show up for mine: with patience, presence, and a whole lot of love. I am an artist with the ability to easily move my schedule around. I look forward to walking, boarding, and supporting pet parents with any care needs that arise. I have a fenced in yard and a clean, quiet home. When caring for dogs, I look for opportunities to engage in play as often as possible both to bond with your fur baby and to ensure they are having fun!
“Christal was great! My pup, who is often initially sad when we leave her with a sitter, loved Christal immediately and had a great time. She went above and beyond, taking my dog on a long walk at Forest Park. Wish I was a local so I could re-book!”

About: I have had pets all my life and at this time I have 2 very gentle German Shepherds that get along well with other dogs. I actually jog 3 miles with one of them several times a week so taking dogs for a walk will not be a problem. I have a part time job that I work out of my house so I am available everyday except Sunday mornings when I go to church. My husband is a firefighter/paramedic and has showed me some CPR. He will be around some days and will be able to assist me if need be. I am at a time in my life right now where I have the time to enjoy my pets and would love to offer my services to people with their fur-babies. I am retired and so is my husband. We just love all dogs and this gives us lots of pleasure being able to care for them. I have a wraparound porch in the mountains that has a closed gate. Also, have an area that is fenced with a ramp going down to this fenced yard, dogs can go freely.
“There are not enough words to express how grateful and appreciative. I am with all of your pictures and kindness and homemade treats. I can tell gunner had a fabulous memorial day weekend doggy daycare party with you.. thank you again so much and we can’t wait to see you again!”

“Bella was a wonderful, wonderful help while my mom was out of town for a family trip. She was so great with her dog, she was wonderful to communicate with, and we are so appreciative of her. She truly went above and beyond for our family.”

About: I’ve had my own dogs to care for my entire life and have raised my dog for 5 years since he was 8 weeks old. I have worked for a pet-sitting & dog walking business for the past year! I am on a gap year before starting grad school and have a very flexible schedule. I spend most of my time at home with my dogs and doing tasks around the house. I have plenty of time to in incorporate more walks and pet time into my routine. I have a large yard where my dogs run but I am very used to working with dogs in different environments; I have cared for my golden retriever mix in an apartment setting as well as in a neighborhood. I walk my dogs every day through out the neighborhood and spend plenty of time outside. One of my dogs has hypothyroidism and takes medication daily, has certain dietary restrictions, and needs additional exercise; so I am used to being extra attentive regarding my dogs lifestyle.
“Lillie has been great working with our new dog Archie. She is very patient and gives great updates, which is very helpful when trying to figure out what behaviors we need to work on with him.”

About: I love working with animals! I’ve been pet sitting for my neighbors and friends since I was a kid. I have a lot of experience taking care of both dogs and cats! My schedule is very flexible! I am taking classes at Western Carolina University, but anytime I am not in class or doing work, I would love to meet your pets! I care greatly about the well-being and happiness of all pets! I will do my very best to keep your pet(s) safe, entertained, and happy while you are away! I just graduated from Western Carolina University, and plan on moving to Raleigh, NC in a few months. Rover is an awesome part time gig for me to save up for moving across the state! I will always do my very best to make sure that the pets are safe and happy! I am not currently able to pet sit in my own home, but I am more than willing to do anything I need to ensure your pet gets the best care they need in your home!

About: (Previously known as AJ) I am a lifelong animal lover with experience in dog, cat and some limited horse care. With a natural affinity for animals, I enjoy working with many different critter personalities and always honor and meet any animal where they are at. I have experience with senior pets and I am comfortable administering medications with instructions. I firmly believe that you are the expert on your fur kids- I use a great attention to detail to do my very best to enrich any animal’s life with all of the information on hand, rather than taking a cookie cutter approach. If I need clarification, I am not afraid to ask. My number one priority is always your pet’s health and safety. It would be an absolute privilege to help care for your beloved family members! Please feel free to message me with any questions. Thank you for your time! My schedule is fairly flexible as I work part-time at night. Please reach out with your needs and we can try to work something out! I am comfortable offering services in your home, I am not able to offer services in my home at this time due to having three doggos in my house! In your home I would start with questions helping me get familiar with your pet’s routine, their normal vs abnormal behaviors, and any logistical tasks needed in my role to ensure their heath and happiness as well as yours.

About: I have grown up always having multiple family dogs at a time and cared for them independently from a very young age. Because of this long term experience, I have cared for the entire age-range from puppies to elderly. I have always enjoyed spending time with animals, taking care of them, playing with them, and making them happy! I also know that dogs can tell who “dog people” are and feel more comfortable with them - I am always the person that dogs come up to and hang around by at the party! I am currently in graduate school so my schedule can be a bit wonky, but I can do morning check-ins or walks before 9am or after around 6:00pm any day of the week. I am most flexible on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays and on certain weekends. I have cared for escape-artist dogs in the past and know the proper way to enter/exit a home to minimize risk of them bolting, and how to hold on to a leash with backup support for unexpected pulling. Having treats that your dogs like available to help with crating or other parts of the check-in or walking process may also be very helpful.
About: I have been dog training for the past 5 years slowly growing my business. I love taking care of animals as it is my passion! Message me to learn more about me and my experience! My typical schedule is 8:30-4:30 with most of my availability in the mornings and evenings! This is the most accurate schedule for the 2026 year. I do not have a fenced in yard but I have a nice neighborhood where I can take your dog for plenty of walks and exercise.
About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was about 10 years old. As soon as I was trusted with the responsibility, I was all in. Dogs have been a joyful and consistent part of my life ever since. I’m comfortable with everything from energetic puppies who need structure and patience to senior dogs who benefit from a slower pace and extra gentleness. I understand how important routine, positive reinforcement, and consistency are for helping dogs feel safe and secure. As a healthcare worker, I bring an added level of attentiveness, responsibility, and calm patience to the dogs in my care. I’m detail-oriented, observant, and committed to making sure each dog’s physical and emotional needs are met. What sets me apart is that I don’t just “watch” dogs - I truly engage with them. Whether that’s structured walks, playtime to burn energy, or relaxed companionship, I tailor my care to your dog’s unique personality. You can expect dependable communication, photo updates, and a sitter who genuinely enjoys every tail wag along the way. 🐾 My job has me working three days a week, which means the other four days I’m fully available and dedicated to caring for pups! On my off days, I have flexible availability for walks and drop-ins. Even on my working days, I’m organized and intentional with my schedule, and I only accept bookings I know I can give proper time and attention to. I believe dogs deserve unhurried, dependable care - not just a quick stop-in. My goal is to provide consistency, communication, and peace of mind so you can feel confident your dog is well cared for. 🐾 Your dog’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I’m respectful of your space and committed to maintaining your dog’s normal routine as closely as possible. Familiar environments help dogs feel secure, and I do everything I can to keep that consistency. I’m attentive during walks, mindful of surroundings, and cautious with other dogs and unfamiliar situations. Leashes, doors, gates, and feeding instructions are always double-checked. As a healthcare worker, I’m observant and quick to notice changes in behavior, appetite, or energy levels. You can trust that I will treat both your dog and your home with the same care and respect I would expect for my own. Clear communication and photo updates are always part of the experience, so you feel connected and confident while you’re away. 🐾
“Amy was.very friendly and Bridget took to her immediately. We used her for a few days while in the Smokies vacationing. She was reliable and trustworthy. I would highly recommend Amy to watch your dog.”

About: Hi! My name is Ashley, I am I senior in the nursing program at South College. I am staying full-time in Cullowhee right now, and I will be here for the rest of the summer. I have over 13 years of dog walking and dog sitting experience, and I have worked with every size and age of dogs- including my 2 large dogs I have myself at home (1 senior, and one puppy under 1 year). I am a very very active person who is willing to go on runs or hikes if that is something you would like. I am familiar and comfortable with administering medication to pets, since I do that for my senior dog every day. I do work full time this summer but I am able to adjust my work schedule according to the dates you need my services if I have enough advance, but also note that I am always available on Mondays and Tuesdays. Please contact me if you would like to know more about me and my schedule I look forward to hearing back from you!😁 I’m currently working part-time and I am fully online for school, so I will have plenty of time to fit these responsibilities into my schedule. With a good amount of heads up, I arrange my shifts the whole week to accommodate if you’re going on vacation or something like that. I can bring a leash, treats, and a harness- if needed for medium- bigger dogs (just let me know in advance if you would like me to). I am very good at working with more than one dog at once; the biggest party of dogs I have worked with at once is 4(all large dogs)! If there is anything that you would like me to bring specifically that would work best for your pet, please let me know and I will!

About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life—dogs of all sizes, cats, fish, guinea pigs, and more. I’ve also helped neighbors with their animals, handling walks, feeding, playtime, exercise, and bathing (as long as they’re comfortable!). I love giving pets attention, exercise, and care tailored to their needs. I do not have classes on the marked days so I am almost always able to drop in multiple times on your pet, which also means I have enough time to give them quality care! I am willing to give baths, feed, play, give pets, let them out on potty breaks, go on lengthy walks, clean litter boxes, etc. I am unable to do overnights or house pets.
About: I’ve been around dogs all my life. They are my favorite living being ever! I adore them so much and want to spend as much time with them as I can. I have a lot of experience with dog sitting, at least 5 years (in home). I don’t have as much experience with cats, but they’re growing on me! I’d be happy to watch your cat as well. I can do anything you may need me to do. I am a CNA, Medication Aide, and Medical Assistant, so I’m very familiar with small procedures your pet may need. For summer break, I am working a lot, but I’d still love to be considered even though our schedules may not align. There may be a break in mine for some reason allowing me to service you! Currently I’m working: Sunday: 4pm-11pm Monday: 7am-7pm Tuesday: 7am-7pm Wednesday: 7am-7pm Thursday: 4pm-10pm Friday: 12pm-11pm Saturday: 7am-3pm It’s a lot but I love working hard! That’s what summer break is all about :) I have the most experience in others’ homes, since I can’t have animals in my home. I am willing to do anything and everything you ask of me. With my schedule, a lower maintenance pet would probably be the best, but I can always mess around with my schedule a little if it can help you!

As a military spouse, I understand the importance of reliable, flexible, and trustworthy care, especially when life gets busy or unpredictable. | Services | • Dog Walking: Whether it’s a quick walk or a longer outdoor adventure, I’ll keep your dog fit, happy, and engaged. • Drop-In Visits: Perfect for check-ins, feeding, bathroom breaks, and playtime. • Medication Administration: With my veterinary technician experience, I’m comfortable handling medications and providing care for pets with special health needs. My husband is active duty in the Navy, so we’ve relocated to the area and am excited to explore the WNC with our little family. Given my WFH status, I am flexible and can easily work around a schedule. I treat every pet with the same care and compassion as I would my own. Your pets’ health, happiness, and safety are my top priorities. You can trust me to offer high-quality care, whether you’re home or away. I’m committed to making sure your pets receive the best care possible while providing you with peace of mind.
About: Growing up, I had always been very involved in the care of our family pets which made my love for all animals so strong from a young age. I have two dogs, a cat, and 7 reptiles:) I have watched pets on many occasions for my family, the families I nannied for, family friends, and clients from Rover. I understand that each fur baby has their own personality and I am always respectful of their boundaries and excited to get along and play!! I am comfortable with any size, age, and type of pet. Happy to talk about a flat rate and can be very flexible! My current schedule, I have classes Monday, Wednesday, & Friday 8am-11am; Tuesday and Thursday 8:30-11:30. I would love to find a regular client whom I can dog walk/sit for on a regular basis but I am also interested in any short term dog care requests that you may have or overnights if comfortable with my schedule. I’m great at following instructions and will take care of your pup as if they were my own! I understand that each pet is different and will cater to the needs of each of your pets.

About: Hey there! My name is Allison and I’m 25. I have two 5 year old full sized goldendoodles. I have been a dog person my entire life. I am currently a stay at home mom that works this alongside my S/O’s schedule. Rest assured that your furry friend will have my undivided attention. Animals are just as important as our human kiddos! I am a stay at home mom and my S/O works overnights. While he is home with my son during the day, I am available to take care of animals. My animals are as important to me as my babies! I know it is difficult trusting someone new with your fur baby, as I’ve had to trust several with mine. I will update you throughout the visit and make sure we have a comfortable plan of action when it comes to accommodating your pet.

I pay great attention to detail and set alarms if pets are time depended on dinner or medications.

“Maria was so sweet and made me feel so comfortable leaving my sweet Joey overnight. Great communication and updates with photos throughout his stay. I would recommend Maria to care for your best friends and will definitely be back! Joey can be a handful and Maria made me feel that he was so welcome! Thank you!!”

“By the best dog sitter in the area! Will definitely use her again! I 100% felt my dogs were in caring hands while out of town. Carrie and her family provided a safe and happy environment for my 2 pups! Ten stars!!!”
