Highly-rated overnight sitters - Farmer

“Brittany was absolutely WONDERFUL taking care of our Honeybear!!! She was warm and kind and Honey was so comfortable and loved her as soon as she met her!! She has lots of experience dog sitting, so she has a beautiful, very clean, dog friendly home with all the doggie beds and toys they could ever want! Also a nice big, fenced in back yard so Honey could run and play and do her business whenever needed. She had lots of playtime and snuggles with Honey, took her on walks, sent pics, and gave us updates every single day! We've had some great sitters, but none as phenomenal as Brittany!!! We would absolutely LOVE to have her keep our baby in the future!!! -Heather C.”

“This is my second time hiring Brooke, and she continues to be amazing. She takes excellent care of my dog, Bella, and truly treats her like her own. Bella is always happy and well cared for, which gives me complete peace of mind. She’s reliable, attentive, and clearly loves what she does. I highly recommend her. I just want to tell you how amazing you are at dog sitting. You take such great care, and it really shows. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing Bella is with you. Thank you for everything you do!”

“I had no worries with Shanna, every interaction showed her care for my pet was her first concern. Great communication and pictures while I was away, I truly could not have asked for more.”

“We have booked with Abriana twice now and had another great experience. I would recommend booking with Abriana for any boarding needs. She is attentive to our pets and gives daily, and as needed, updates about our pets. ”

“Talia did an awesome job with our sweet babies! They were quite nervous and she gave them reassurance and space in a calm environment. She was very communicative with me and made me feel comfortable leaving our fur babies with her! ❤️”

“Very accommodating and understanding with travel delays. Dogs looked healthy and happy. Best part was she provided a complementary dog wash for the boys . Definitely recommend.”

“Christopher is super amazing and patient. He was patient and carefully monitored Ricky’s energy around the other dogs. He is well communicative which is definitely a plus when it’s your first time formally leaving your fur baby in the care of someone you don’t know. I love how he allowed me to also monitor my dogs behavior prior to completely dropping him off. Christopher is super respectful and understanding. I would recommend and book again!”

“Gina took wonderful care of my two standard schnauzer pups. They are nine months old and still have enough puppy in them to be a handful. She loved on my dogs, took them with her outside on walks and while working in the yard, sent me picture and video updates. I don't worry about my dogs in the least bit when they are with Gina. She will take excellent care of your dogs while she has them in her care. She's my #1 option for pet care. I highly recommend!”

“I’m pleased with Yuko’s care. Mr. Flavio and Melany did great at providing daily pictures of Yuko and he seemed to have had an amazing time as well. Hoping to continue booking with them in the future.”

“Benny did great in his first stay with Kaitlyn. She is clearly a dog lover! She sent cute pictures and updates daily and was very timely in her communications. Would definitely recommend.”

“Robin is experienced and trustworthy. We loved the big fenced in back yard and ample inside room for our pups while we were out of town. I was emotional leaving my babies but knew they were in great hands. Photos and videos while we were gone and texting communication was spot on. We will definitely be booking again when needed.”

“Starla was amazing! Will definitely use her again. My baby Twinkle had the time of her life. Starla is amazing with communication, sent daily pics and videos. Definitely the best! Thank you so much 🩷😊”

“Meghan was excellent at sending us daily updates and pictures of our girl while we were gone for 9 days! She was very flexible for drop off and pick up times. Toccoa had so much fun playing with her and her boys. She had plenty of outside time in her back yard! It’s assuring to know your pup is being well taken care of and having fun while you’re away from home. We are planning on rebooking with this sweet family.”
“Tina took such wonderful care of my dog, Ruby, over the weekend! From the moment we dropped her off, I felt completely at ease knowing she was in great hands. Tina was incredibly attentive and kept me updated with frequent messages and adorable photos, which meant so much while we were away. Ruby also had the best time with Tina’s dog, Charlie. They became fast friends right away, which made the whole experience even better. It’s clear Tina truly loves and cares for the dogs she watches. I wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring sitter. Thank you so much, Tina, for taking such amazing care of Ruby!”

Cat caregivers near you - Farmer

About: I have fostered a lot of cats. They have a soft spot in my heart. I think I’m personally good at reading a cat’s body language because their personalities can definitely range from the crazy orange tabby to the judgey calico or the lazy Persian 😂. I’ve never trained a cat but am a reliable litter box cleaner.

About: I honestly haven't had cats for too long. Finding my first stray while in college and raising her until her passing. Had others cats including 2 siamese mixes and a Russian blue. Cats seems to enjoy my calmness and cleanliness.

About: While my daily professional life as the founder of OZN Olympian K9 revolves around active dog handling, my roots belong entirely to the feline world. I grew up in a multi-cat household, starting with my very first childhood cat, Laces, whom I successfully trained to do tricks. My passion for rescue work truly began with Rico, my beloved SPCA rescue, and later Romeo, who lived alongside my Standard Poodle throughout my college years. Because I currently manage active working dogs in my home, I strictly offer Drop-In Visits inside your cat's own familiar environment. True cat owners know that felines are happiest and least stressed when they remain in their own territory. Keeping them at home prevents the intense anxiety of strange boarding facilities, and it ensures total safety far away from canine energy. What Sets My Feline Care Apart: Advanced Medical Capability: Backed by three completed years of study in Animal & Poultry Science at Virginia Tech, I possess high-level, hands-on university experience. I am fully qualified to administer oral pills, supplements, or specialized medications safely, accurately, and calmly. A Relaxing Break from the Routine: I love the independent, cool nature of cats. Coming to visit your feline companion is my favorite way to step back from the high-energy dog world and simply focus on providing a patient, peaceful, and enriching experience for your pet. Complete Household Maintenance: During every 30-minute drop-in, I ensure fresh water rotation, precise feeding schedules, thorough litter box scooping, and tailored socialization—whether your cat wants active toy engagement or just quiet, respectful company. Leaving your cats can be incredibly stressful, but with my academic background and lifetime of personal feline ownership, you can rest assured they are in highly capable, loving hands. “This was our first time using a sitter, and I must say how happy we are having Courtnie taking care of our baby! Normally, our baby will hide from people, but not with Courtnie. Animals know who is kind and gentle, and Courtnie is. We highly recommend her and look forward to having her for future needs. Thanks Courtnie!”

“Abriana jumped in with less than an hour's notice to take care of my sweet kitty (after another sitter bailed last minute.) She was reliable and responsive! Thank you.”

“I cannot put into words how amazing this young lady was with Piper and Momma Cat. She went above and beyond with my babies. I highly recommend using her for your furbabies. And I know I'll be using her again.”
“Chris did everything we asked. Although our cat, Kiku, was a ninja at disappearing, Chris kept her litter box clean and her food and water bowls full. He kept us informed and was always in touch. I would recommend his services.”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Farmer
“Bentley had a great time with Abriana and her dogs! She accomodated our specific requests graciously. She spent time helping him get acquainted with her property and animals. She sent us updates and photos while we were at the NC Zoo. Bentley was more content than anxious at pick-up. Would definitely recommend!”

“Valkyrie has a wonderful time with Mary and comes home acting like her normal self. I’m so glad to have found Mary. She sends photos and updates throughout the day and my mama heart knows my baby is taken care of. 🥰🐶”

“This was my first experience with Rover.com for daycare for my dog, Rudy and it went great. He seemed to do well with Rebecca even with it being a new environment. Rebecca interacted with him very well at the greeting to get his comfort in going with her.”

“We were back in town and didn’t hesitate to book him again, and once again, he was amazing. We used him for two days of dog sitting, and our Gracie Lou came back happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It’s such a relief having someone we trust completely. Highly recommend and will absolutely continue to book with him!”

“Rachelle and Christopher are so great with my girls. I can tell how much they love my dogs by how excited my dogs get when we arrive each week. Thank you for loving them like family!”

“Chelsey is amazing and was an absolute lifesaver! I unexpectedly had to work remotely out of town and needed last minute help with my dog. I messaged her early that morning on a whim, and she responded immediately. She even came to pick my dog up so I could clock in at a decent time, which meant so much. She kept my dog all day, took her on two walks, gave her play time, plenty of potty breaks, and sent me pictures and updates throughout the day. When I picked her up, my dog was SO happy and playing with the other dogs which is huge because she’s not always the best with other dogs. It was clear she felt comfortable, happy and well cared for. I highly recommend Chelsey for all your fur babies’ needs and will absolutely be using her services again in the future whenever possible!”

“Brittany was great! She watch Mila all day and had great communication. I received regular updates throughout the day which is always great to get when leaving your fur child with anyone. If you use Brittany, then relax, because she will take perfect care of your dog.”

I'm always nervous when someone new keeps him because he is such a sweet, fun-loving guy and I want him to stay that way, but Morgan has been great. Bentley has enjoyed his time with her and is super excited to get dropped off in the mornings. I would definitely use her again and recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve personally had dogs my whole life! I have experience with caring for senior dogs as well as puppies. I have a special place in my heart for labs, but I love them all! I’ve yet to meet a dog I don’t like. I have experience is administering meds, crate training, and providing overall care to your pet 😀 As a dog owner myself, caring for pets is part of my everyday life. I love spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable. For boarding, I offer Thursday evening drop-offs, and pets must be picked up by Sunday. This helps me ensure each pet gets the best care possible during their stay In my home, pets are treated like family. I have two friendly dogs of my own, Sunny and Ruby, so I understand the importance of maintaining a safe, loving, and structured environment. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, medication administration (if needed), and plenty of affection and attention. I also make sure pet parents receive regular updates and photos so they can feel confident their furry family member is happy and well cared for

About: My lifetime dedication to animal behavior began at a young age, training everything from my childhood cats and birds to neighborhood dogs. By the time I was 12, I was already handling pet-sitting duties for family friends, which sparked an obsession with AKC dog shows and canine development. As a teenager, I successfully fostered three high-need rescue dogs, rehabilitating them and placing them into forever homes. When I finally received my first dog, Omega—a brilliant Standard Poodle who lived to be 14—I trained him from scratch in everything from advanced stays to agility pole jumping. To back this natural passion with formal education, I completed three years at Virginia Tech, majoring in Animal & Poultry Science (Companion Animal Track). Through my intensive collegiate lab work, I gained hands-on experience with multiple species and mastered advanced animal husbandry, livestock handling, anatomy, and medical administration protocols (including multiple injection methods). This rigorous science background transitions directly into my capability as a handler. My daily life revolves around the development of working lines and guardian breeds. I specialize in basic and advanced obedience, loose-leash positioning, and structured boundaries. I am actively developing my very first personal sport prospect, hand-feeding for precision obedience. I recently whelped and successfully raised a healthy, large working cross litter of 10 puppies, and I am now offering my training services through my rover profile. What to Expect During Their Stay: Whether your dog is a high-energy athlete needing structured mental outlets, a powerful guardian breed requiring a confident leader, or a companion needing precise medical administration, they will receive elite, customized care. Because I work from home full-time, your dog will be integrated into a clean, highly supervised routine that respects their existing household rules. I offer premium House Sitting, Drop-In Visits, and structured Day Care. Space is intentionally kept small to ensure safety, calm boundaries, and individualized attention. Leaving your companion is never easy—trust me, I practice the same care I expect for my own animals. With me, you can have total peace of mind that your dog is in the hands of a dedicated, professional handler. Contact me today to secure your route or schedule a meet-and-greet! I work from home full-time, allowing me to provide consistent, round-the-clock supervision for your companion. My remote work schedule operates on a split-shift structure: Mon, Tue, & alternating Fri/Sat: 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM & 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM Wed & Thu: 11:00 AM – 2:00 AM & 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM Sundays: Completely off and dedicated 100% to canine care. Because I work directly from my home office, your dog will enjoy a highly supervised, safe environment with a dedicated handler present at all times. My shift gaps are dedicated entirely to outdoor potty breaks, enrichment, and hands-on interaction. My ultimate professional milestone is transitioning to full-time canine management under my OZN Olympian K9 brand, meaning your pet receives the highest level of focused, attentive care I operate on a spacious one-acre property featuring a massive yard bordered by clean stone landmarks. Safety is my absolute priority, which is why all yard time is strictly supervised by me personally. Dogs with verified, bulletproof off-leash recall are permitted to utilize the full property line. For companions still developing their foundations, I utilize a professional 30-foot training long-line, allowing them total freedom to run and explore safely without any risk of escape. Inside my home, I offer a highly versatile, stress-free environment tailored to your dog's specific social needs. I can accommodate social dogs who thrive around other animals, as well as dogs requiring complete separation. If your companion prefers individual space, my personal dogs can be securely rotated to my upper level, and my current puppy prospects are trained to settle quietly in their crates. This leaves my entire downstairs area or my private home office completely open for your dog to relax in. I have multiple heavy-duty, large crates on hand to assist dogs who need a secure, cozy boundary to settle in a new environment. When providing care inside your home for house-sitting or drop-in visits, I maintain that exact same elite standard of structure and safety. I treat your property with the utmost respect, keeping your home clean, secure, and exactly how you left it. While under my care on your property, your dog will follow a precise, customized routine—maintaining their existing house rules, feeding schedules, and crate habits—so they feel completely secure in their own familiar environment. Every dog under my roof receives a deeply enriching routine where I reinforce good canine manners daily, backed by regular text, photo, and video updates!
“Loren took wonderful care of my Shih Tzu, Charlie. She did a great job of introducing her 2 big dogs to little 10lb Charlie. Loren communicated with messages and pictures throughout the day. Charlie was worn out and happy when I picked him up. I will definitely use Loren again when I need care for Charlie.”

About: I love dogs and have enjoyed working with them in many capacities since I was a child and formally for over 15 years. I am a Canine Good Citizen evaluator and have spent years training loving companions. I am certified in Canine CPR and First Aid by the American Red Cross and undergo annual recertifications to stay current on the latest first-aid procedures. I also have experience administering both oral medications and injections. Before your pups stay, we have each family fill out a form for their furry companion. This helps us get to know them better in order to make their stay easier. I have no breed preference and are familiar with handling working canines. Your pup is welcome in our home, and our couch is open to your furry pooch. However, I also understand there are dogs who prefer to be outside and are not easily accommodated indoors. I also have covered outdoor runs for those families who still need a vacation but whose pups enjoy more fresh air and natural surroundings. I am happy to accommodate each family's preference. No matter what, canines are treated to lots of exercise and playtime. I wake up and start the day off with morning let out. After each group has been let we come back in for feeding. Morning feedings normally allow for 30-45 minutes before letting out again for a potty break. They are brought back in, crated, and pups are rotated out for play inside throughout the day. I let out every 2-4 hours through the day or more if needed. I do have the option to add on trail walks for those who have social canines who are good with other dogs and people (I will not be introducing them to others but it is a requirement to the trail). In the evening we normally do the last feeding at 7 pm followed by yard play and starting to settle in. Last potty break is at 10 pm. Note: Although I am at home full time I do on occasion leave our home to run errands. Your dog can be left alone for up to 4 hours (max). If this is ever the case your pup will always be crated and secure. For your pup's safety They are never given free rein while unsupervised. I take the safety of your furry companion very seriously. Canines are let out for potty breaks every 2-4 hours (or as needed, if required more frequently). I have a fenced-in yard so your pup will be safe during potty breaks. I do not allow companions from other families to play with each other. This is a safety measure. Your pup can be under a lot of stress when you're gone and I want to make their stay as smooth and relaxing as possible. This doesn't mean I will not be playing with your pup ourselves! I love playing fetch, puzzle games, and even tug with them. I do allow for several outings in the house throughout the day so they can get plenty of one-on-one attention inside as well as extra pets. I have 5 acres that are attached to the national preserve. If your furry companion is social and enjoys walks, I have several trails I am happy to take them on upon request (weather permitting). All outings are on leash only.

Preferably Thomasville area Friday/ Saturday but can make most anywhere work! Just reach out. I can take care of your pet in your home from walking, to feeding to grooming. I am very trustworthy and know animal behavior very well. Willing to work with reactive dogs!
About: I've had animals most of my life from puppies to pound mutts and full blooded and senior dogs. I make sure to encourage play and positive training. I currently work from home so I spend lots of time with family pets, old roommate animals and friends pets. Lately it's been waking up to 3 small dogs my parents have. I make sure to follow any rules stated by the original owner. It can range from crate training, socialization, cleaning, walking or using the client's home.
About: From dogs and cats to horses, goats, and chickens—former vet assistant here to give your pets loving care, walks, play time, and medications when needed. “As a full-time pet sitter with an open schedule, I dedicate myself entirely to your pets care, love, and happiness every day you need me. “I care for your pets in their home or mine, offering walks, playtime, cuddles, and medication support, ensuring comfort, safety, and happiness throughout each visit.”
About: I have advanced experience with caring for all types of pets, as I have a degree in veterinary medical technology and have worked in private practice as well as in a lab. I am comfortable handling and caring for most breeds/sizes. I have reliable transportation and am willing to transport your pet to any necessary appointments. I can also administer medications and treatments. I am responsible and trustworthy. I work from home, so I have all the time I need to dedicate to caring for your fur babies! I have two daughters, ages 15 and 9. They would most likely be present part of the time, so it is crucial that I know your pet’s temperament so that I can plan accordingly. Have cats? No problem! Small pets or birds? Awesome! I can care for them all, in your home OR mine. Thanks so much, and I look forward to meeting your fur (feathered and scaled too!) babies! I work full time from home, so I can provide consistent care and attention all day! I plan trips and time off in advance, so my schedule is always up to date. As I live in an apartment, I always walk on-leash. I can tailor my care directly to my client’s needs. I treat every pet as if it were my own!
About: I have a dog of my own that I love to take walks with. I also love going out and running around with him or throwing the frisbee to him. I have dog-sat for my friend in the past and it went very well. Pet care fits perfectly into my schedule. I am someone who loves to be outside and around animals. This is something that will feel natural and mesh well with my life. I will not be able to care for the dogs at my own home due to my childhood dog living there and jealousy/protectiveness being one of his main traits. Although the clients home would be perfect for me. I like to keep dogs on their everyday routine. For example, letting them out typically whenever they usually go outside. Feeding them around the same time the owners do. I am younger so I love to run around with the dogs. I will play with all of their toys with them. I can also chill out, lay down, and pet the dog!
About: Available full time to watch your babies. I love dogs and I have always had 1or 2 myself. My husband and myself have bought an RV and we live in it in a campground but we do have yard space and lots of space for walking your loved ones. I have worked for 1 1/2 years at a veterinarian office. Let me take care of your pet for you and you'll not have to worry about them. I am a very reliable person. I love dogs of all kinds and of all ages. I can sit them in their own surroundings in their home or at my home. I can provide you with a reference if you would like. Dogs mean so much to me and I love to show them all the loving they need. I in NO way believe in animal cruelty, it is not in no way tolerated!! Pick me and you won't be sorry. I don't work outside the home so I'll have plenty of time to play with your baby which is right down my alley. I love animals! I can let your pet roam in my home if that is what they are used to and that won't bother me. I can also crate your pet if need be but only if you instruct me to do so. I also have a small fenced area for them to roam.

About: I have 5 years of experience working as a vet tech so I can be trusted to take of your fur babies and keep them safe! I have many fur babies of my own and I have had many more growing up so I have had all the experience and I can’t wait to meet all of yours! I currently work a typical 8-5 job as an assistant manager but I take a break at 12 and 2 to go home and take care of the animals. I am home all other times. I like to take pups on plenty of walks if they are doing doggie day care! I enjoy playing with your pups and getting all their energy out!

“Big thanks to Sarah for caring for our Rudy on such short notice due to a sitter cancellation. She welcomed him and even allowed our spoiled baby to sleep on the bed.”
