About: We're conveniently located just off of hwy 401 and near I-95 and I-40. I've always had family pets since I was the age of 2. I've cared for all ages of dogs and cats. I've been a midwife to many previous cats, bottle fed, watched live births of pups, and administered oral medications. I am always available for play time and snuggle time. I currently work part-time and am only away for 6 hours during the day. During this time my husband or my teen are usually home for part of that time. It's perfect because our pets aren't left all alone for very long. I have 2 dogs, one is playful and one is very relaxed. They have been around other dogs a number of times and loves playing at the dog park. They are friendly. At night our dogs are able to go upstairs and sleep in our room. During your pups stay, they are welcome to sleep anywhere in the house. We have a spare room downstairs that I'm happy to stay in if they need that (my dogs take up our whole bed upstairs). If your pup is crate trained and prefers their crate, I suggest you bring it for their stay so they can feel more at home.
About: My wife and I have always through the years had some variety of dogs and cats, male and female. Small and not so small 😊At times even birds, rabbits and Guinea pigs. We have taken care of my our grand dogs and grand kitties. We have chosen not to have our own animals friends in this season of our life because of the freedom it gives us to visit our children , grandchildren and great grandchildren we have in different states now. But feel we would enjoy helping others with their friends in our retirement. Our yard has a white picket fence and is a decent size for someone to run around in, but it is not completely fenced in. We are retired. We do not have any daily obligations anywhere. We go to church and we visit our children out of state on some of the holidays. Of course we would keep a close eye on them and see that they have water and ther food and a place to rest and as many potty breaks as needed. Also feel like they should be able to get the exercise they need with fresh air outside. Between a porch and deck that they can enjoy with us. Walking with a lease around the yard and their lease attached to an outside chain for their individual walking/running 😊

For about the past two years, I have been working with a rescue agency based in Tennessee, where there are not enough foster homes. I began with assisting in transport of rescue dogs into Foster, and then became a foster home myself. My own dogs have been adopted, and I have extensive experience with issues of aging, small dog problems in general, and administering medicine. I currently have a senior dog of my own and I do all that I can to make her comfortable, just as I would for anyone else’s pet! About: I previously worked as an animal care technician at a nonprofit animal shelter, I also own a 4 year old Great Pyrenees as well as a 2 year old mini Aussie. I grew up with farm animals and household pets so I am very use to the nitty gritty that comes with caring for our loved ones. I’m available on Tuesdays one week & I’m available on Thursdays another week & I’m off every other weekend but I’m available after 3pm on the other days. About: Growing up, I had plenty of cats and dogs, both trained and untrained. I treat fur babies like literal humans, they deserve it. I love to cuddle with animals, play outside, or just be lazy together. I work for myself so I make my own schedule.
