“Rachel is AMAZING!! This was my first time boarding my pups (one with anxiety) and using Rover. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 11/10 experience! We did a meet and greet ahead of time, which was super helpful. She has a wonderful setup! A nice, large, fenced-in yard for them to run around and play. The upper deck is perfect for my pups looking out over the yard and resting in the sun. Rachel is a fantastic communicator sending multiple updates, pics and videos throughout the day. With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. My babies got all the play, love and attention they are used to (plus a little more) 😊😊 Also, Rachel was very flexible with me for drop-off and pickup as we were going out of town. I have a set time to take my puppy out as he is still going through potty training My apartment is pretty open for the fur babies to room around and I have a small fur baby of my own that can play with! There is a big area of grass around my complex where they can go potty and play and a dog park right up the street.

About: I have experience with all kinds of pet care. From cats and dogs to chinchillas and bearded dragons. I am experience with medication and well as behavioral I work PRN at 2 nursing homes and I am in school for 13.5 hours a week! I do make my own schedule for the most part so providing adequate care has never been an issue. I am CPR and first aid certified, I am also fire/flood trained. I have been told I am a perfectionist and I do hyperfocus but since I am watching your pets that is a good thing!

I decided to look for somebody that I could trust that was loving and caring and had dog whisperer vibes, especially when it comes to senior dogs. I am lucky to have met Jenny. From the moment of our meet and greet , Shemp , who is usually a high anxiety dog was calm and happy. About: I have had, rescued, and taken care of a wide variety of dogs from smaller malti-poos to a Dane who had been living on the street, was skin and bones, and ended up 188 lbs. Currently I have Pippa, a 7-year-old Labrador who is allergic to chicken, so I make part of her food. I am home most of the time, except when I host overly-complex board games at the Hickory Library or the Highland Rec Center -- and those sessions are at most 3 hours long. I am home most days, except when I am hosting 3-hour board games at the local library and rec center. Otherwise, I take care of our house and rental properties. I have a large fenced yard -- especially-so since my house sits along North Center Street. I also use carabiners to make sure that gates are locked.

About: I have been around animals for the entirety of my life and have been raised to believe that they are family. I believe that animals come before myself. I think that my purpose as a human is to make their lives better! I am currently full time in school. My mornings Monday-Thursday are taken until 2pm. Other than that I am as free as you need me to be! I care for pets by following their routine, keeping them safe, fed, and happy, and giving them plenty of love and attention whether in my home or yours.

About: Hey everyone! My name is Luke and I graduated with my degree in Zoology from NC State University, and I absolutely love animals! I've worked at zoos, taught kids, done research in the Amazon rainforest, and worked as a vet technician. I'm pretty flexible and would love to be of help to you and your adorable pets! “Rachel is AMAZING!! This was my first time boarding my pups (one with anxiety) and using Rover. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. 11/10 experience! We did a meet and greet ahead of time, which was super helpful. She has a wonderful setup! A nice, large, fenced-in yard for them to run around and play. The upper deck is perfect for my pups looking out over the yard and resting in the sun. Rachel is a fantastic communicator sending multiple updates, pics and videos throughout the day. With my permission, the dogs were allowed on the couch and provided lots of cuddles and she even slept in the spare room with them (just like home). For my pup with anxiety, she moved slow and gave her time to adjust and settle. My babies got all the play, love and attention they are used to (plus a little more) 😊😊 Also, Rachel was very flexible with me for drop-off and pickup as we were going out of town. About: I have 2 dogs of my own currently one is 8 and one is 10. I currently work at a doggy daycare and boarding facility. i work 5 days a week less than 40 hours and i’m taking care of animals when im on and off the clock so it seems fitting to become a sitter and walker:) I live in a home with an unfenced 2 acre yard. we have a runner in case the dog isn’t leash or off leash trained.
