About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!

About: I've had pet cats throughout my life but I found my soul cat about 3 years ago and now I know all there is to know about them. I'll make sure you're fur babies are well loved and taken care of, and respected. I don't mind cleaning the litter boxes, that's just what you do when you love the fur balls.

About: I was raised with a variety of cats and dogs for 25 years, volunteered in a shelter while I was in school, and helped with herpetological demonstrations and assisted with their care. The last few years I have had further opportunity to care for coworkers' pets as I house sat for fellow nurses traveling . I have sat for everything from dogs and cats to lizards, snakes, fish, rabbits, even horses, pigs, goats, and chickens. I work as a nurse full time which allows me a relatively flexible schedule for drop in visits over the weekdays and and stretches of time off for longer stays. Flexibility is my motto; I am able to drop by for walks or let them out into the yard if there's fencing, all depending on your preference. I can free feed or work off a schedule, ect. I have worked with everyone from those asking me to just stop by to check the house and take in mail, no pets involved, to another asking for overnight stays with an anxious rescue on a feeding regimen and medication requirements.
About: I've had experience in handling and providing care for cats of all temperaments from my own to working with boarding cats at kennels and the SPCA. I am comfortable adminstering medicine through food or using a pill pusher or pill pockets. Growing up one of my cats had issues with her kidneys and I administered her pills with a pusher as it was the only way to reliability know she received her life saving medicine every morning. I have a young cat of my own who is a bit on the spunky side but I love him reguardless of all the sass! At the SPCA I made sure all our cats in the facility were fed and had a clean kennel. I enjoyed free time providing enrichment through play or for the more shy cats sitting quietly and allowing them to come and go as they pleased.
About: January 2025, it was a crisp day with wearing layers of clothing to keep warm. I was on a walk around the neighborhood and saw two little kittens (less than nine months old). The nights were getting colder and I was not going to give up on finding these kittens. I ran into the family who was also feeding them. I took them in, and now they are part of my family. We need to do our due diligence on the stray cats to be fixed (VTNR).

About: I’ve had experience dog sitting my sisters dogs since I was 17 years old, and I’m currently 28. I have also been responsible for taking care of my cousins three cats, and my aunts two indoor cars, and several outside animals consisting of cats, dogs, and chickens. I’ve also owned a Labrador, and currently own a calico cat. I also volunteer to host dogs on the weekends that are currently held at Saving Grace. I currently have a full time job, but am free in afternoons and on weekends. Currently on Thursdays and Fridays I am working from home. When taking care of animals, i make sure they have clean fresh water. I also make sure I give them the amount of food their owner has requested. Once they’re feed and have fresh water, I spend time with them and give them plenty of head scratches and belly rubs!

About: I love animals no matter the breed. I can care for both cats, dogs and ferrets. I do not have experience caring for other animals but if taught their routine I can definitely learn! My schedule is usually always open and as a pet parent,I will always provide the best care for your pet when you are away. I can do overnight animal sitting, if necessary as well as during the day. Because of my housing arrangements, I cannot offer boarding. As a pet owner, I totally understand the questions and concerns of leaving your pet in the care of someone else. I do have friends and family members who trust me to take care of their animals, while they are away on business trips and/or vacations. The rules that are set for your animal will be followed by me.

About: I have taken care of many pets since I was a little girl especially dogs. I am a dog owner and so is my family. when my family members leave on trips I take care of all the pets needs like walking feeding and spending quality time I am a mom so my hours are based around school. My hours are from 8:30am to 2:00 pm I feel that is adequate time to give your pets the extra needed attention, love, and exercise they require. Well tending to pets and clients home I make sure the dog will be leashed before heading out doors and making sure that all doors are secure before and after walks. If they are caged or crate I will make sure that they are properly secured.

I’ve had the privilege of having many different breeds and mixed breeds as part of my family, so I have a lot of varied experience. You can count on me for happy paws and lots of tail wags! About: I've grown up caring for multiple breeds of dogs and some cats. I have adopted an older Lab Mix from a kill shelter and he is the sweetest, calm and loving dog. Large dogs are my specialty but I love smaller dogs as well. Caring for them comes natural, on top of giving them plenty of space to run and exercise. About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!
