I am comfortable adminstering medicine through food or using a pill pusher or pill pockets. Growing up one of my cats had issues with her kidneys and I administered her pills with a pusher as it was the only way to reliability know she received her life saving medicine every morning. I have a young cat of my own who is a bit on the spunky side but I love him reguardless of all the sass! At the SPCA I made sure all our cats in the facility were fed and had a clean kennel. I enjoyed free time providing enrichment through play or for the more shy cats sitting quietly and allowing them to come and go as they pleased.
About: January 2025, it was a crisp day with wearing layers of clothing to keep warm. I was on a walk around the neighborhood and saw two little kittens (less than nine months old). The nights were getting colder and I was not going to give up on finding these kittens. I ran into the family who was also feeding them. I took them in, and now they are part of my family. We need to do our due diligence on the stray cats to be fixed (VTNR).

About: I’ve had experience dog sitting my sisters dogs since I was 17 years old, and I’m currently 28. I have also been responsible for taking care of my cousins three cats, and my aunts two indoor cars, and several outside animals consisting of cats, dogs, and chickens. I’ve also owned a Labrador, and currently own a calico cat. I also volunteer to host dogs on the weekends that are currently held at Saving Grace. I currently have a full time job, but am free in afternoons and on weekends. Currently on Thursdays and Fridays I am working from home. When taking care of animals, i make sure they have clean fresh water. I also make sure I give them the amount of food their owner has requested. Once they’re feed and have fresh water, I spend time with them and give them plenty of head scratches and belly rubs!

About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. The point is, weather for a week or a weekend, if you leave your dog with me, you can focus on where ever your travels are taking you. I have a pretty demanding full time job. I’m only available for boarding in my home. If I’m home, your dog has 100% of my focus. I have a very well trained and very social GSD and a large fenced in yard. About: I grew up on a farm and have had dogs all my life. I currently have a boykin spaniel named Colt. I dog sat through college and even worked in vet med. I work full time, but have a flexible schedule most days. I’m able to drop in before 8am, during my lunch, and after work. Weekends tend to be more open. I am able to take long or short walks, drop by just to take your dog out for a bathroom break, play, feed, administer medications.

About: My husband and I have been fostering dogs since February 2023. Sadly (or happily, rather), several of those fosters became foster fails. We went from having 1 dog and 2 cats to 4 dogs and 4 cats…but we wouldn’t have it any other way :) Our 4 cats are all extremely friendly and loving. Charlie is 6, Harley is 3, and Sweet Potato and Clementine just turned 1. Every single one of our dogs is a rescue. Molly is 9 months, Banjo is 7 months, Mia is 10-12 years, and Georgie is 8-10 years. Molly & Banjo were rescued with Paws of the Pines Rescue based in Southern Pines, NC. Mia & Georgie are a sister duo that we found dumped in the woods, and are the best senior pups we’ve ever encountered. My husband and I care deeply for all animals and do this because we love it, not for the money. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to us if you’re in need of care. We will do what we can to serve you! I (Megan) wake up at 4:30 daily to let the dogs out, walk them, and feed them breakfast. I leave for work at 6. Jacob then wakes up and cares for the dogs until he leaves for work at 7. The dogs are crated until we come home. After work they engage in another walk, training, puzzles, you name it, and are highly active until bedtime around 9. The cats have an automatic feeder and water fountain. They love lounging around in the living room if the dogs are calm. All 4 cats are friendly and curious. Harley hangs around outside most of the day and the orange brothers are in and out as they please. Charlie is mostly indoors with the occasional peek at the outside world. Pets that enter my home will remain in the main living area with the puppies. The cats in my home are free to roam through the whole house. Dogs will need to be crate trained and okay other pets. I will accommodate their meals according to the owners’ requests. We are an active family, so walks are common!

I’ve had the privilege of having many different breeds and mixed breeds as part of my family, so I have a lot of varied experience. You can count on me for happy paws and lots of tail wags! I am available to walk or drop in on your dog during the day on weekdays! The hours would be between 9-12:30 Monday through Thursday. We currently have a chocolate lab who is 8 years old and is such a sweetheart. She loves to play fetch in our backyard and go on walks with the family. I plan to treat your dog with the same love and care as my own.

About: I have taken care of many pets since I was a little girl especially dogs. I am a dog owner and so is my family. when my family members leave on trips I take care of all the pets needs like walking feeding and spending quality time I am a mom so my hours are based around school. My hours are from 8:30am to 2:00 pm I feel that is adequate time to give your pets the extra needed attention, love, and exercise they require. Well tending to pets and clients home I make sure the dog will be leashed before heading out doors and making sure that all doors are secure before and after walks. If they are caged or crate I will make sure that they are properly secured.
About: I’ve been an animal lover my entire life, especially when it comes to cats. I grew up in a household that always had multiple cats. I just recently moved from my parents house where we had four, including a rescue I brought back from an overseas deployment. I also have experience caring for senior pets, including my childhood pet, a 14 year old Siamese in her final years, where I provided comfort, medication support, and close monitoring. I’ve fostered multiple litters of kittens, including bottle feeding, scheduled care, and neonatal support (including stimulation for bathroom and feeding routines), so I’m very comfortable with young or high needs animals. I also have hands on experience caring for dogs, including a family chocolate lab that I regularly walked, took on beach trips, transported safely in my vehicle, and maintained consistent feeding and exercise routines for. About: I've grown up caring for multiple breeds of dogs and some cats. I have adopted an older Lab Mix from a kill shelter and he is the sweetest, calm and loving dog. Large dogs are my specialty but I love smaller dogs as well. Caring for them comes natural, on top of giving them plenty of space to run and exercise. I am comfortable giving any dogs medications as I have experience giving my own the same. If there is any specification you'd like for dog boarding, I am more than positive those needs can be met. Walking dogs is an everyday activity I do to keep them mobile and active as well as myself! I just enjoy any type of companionship that comes with caring for dogs! I’m currently working from home which helps allow us to provide full time care for our animals, as well as yours! We’re able to be outside and play anytime throughout the day. We have a large fenced in back yard with lots of room to roam and play outside. With cameras in the front and back yard that helps us keep a close eye on their movement to ensure safety.

About: I have been a professional trainer for over 15 years. I love puppies, small dogs, and bully breeds in particular. I am comfortable giving medications and providing custom care. Looking after your pets is my number once focus everyday and throughout the week. They are the first thing I take care of when I wake up and the last thing I take care of when I go to sleep. About: Like everyone else on this app, I love dogs, and grew up with German Shepherds However, I started on the rover app because I wanted to provide something I thought was missing… reliable pet care for high energy and athletic dogs. I travel a lot and the last thing I want to worry about is if my 70 pound GSD is wearing out the kind old lady I left her with because that’s who was available. Rest assured, if you leave your dog with me for work or for play, I’ll treat them as if they were my own. Need daily runs or multiple walks a day? Good. We run every day. Need yard play time? Not a problem. Extra belly rubs? Easy. Is your Dog a couch potato? I have a couch and have happy to give rubs and chill out. The point is, weather for a week or a weekend, if you leave your dog with me, you can focus on where ever your travels are taking you. I have a pretty demanding full time job. I’m only available for boarding in my home. If I’m home, your dog has 100% of my focus. I have a very well trained and very social GSD and a large fenced in yard. I also have rooms I can fence off to give your dog some space. I’m happy to play fetch, take multiple walks, and daily runs if needed.
