About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.

About: I’ve taken care of many different kinds of pets since I was a kid. I’ve walked dogs for my neighbors, fed horses, goats and chickens for family friends, and pet sat many other dogs and cats. I work from home at night, so I will be able to be attentive all day. My husband works during the day from home as well, so there will always be a set of eyes on your pet! I have a fully fenced yard. We do have 3 dogs but all are very loving and have gotten along with any animal they have met. We have a spare room that we can use to keep them separated if necessary, otherwise your pet will have free roam and will be treated like family.

I have pretty much free and short notice availability, thought I limit bookings on WEDNESDAYS and SUNDAYS as my days off. I have a whole zoo worth of pets and need to stop by my own house throughout the day, so any house sitting will be based on regular visits. I have reliable transportation and excellent driving skills in case of needing to transport. My vehicle has a crash tested seat belt and I have a few crash tested harnesses if you do not have one, though providing your own sized for your dog is preferred. I will not provide transport for animals other than cats or dogs and cats and small dogs must be tolerant of being crated for the ride. I am great at working with your schedule with at least 2 hours notice, but Rover does not allow easy schedule changes. If you need to reduce your visits, CANCEL the booking and REBOOK with your new dates, as once Rover confirms your booking it won’t let you reduce the current rate. In your home, I offer basic cleaning services and can ensure any messes get cleaned. I can meet many varied needs and am meticulous with following your house rules for your pets. I do not offer boarding or allow client pets at my home. I will not provide food or other consumables, though I will confirm what treats your pets can have because all good pets deserve treats. I provide basic behavior assistance such as teaching your dog that jumping on people is inappropriate, basic tricks (sit, down, paw), leash manners, but I DO NOT OFFER PAID TRAINING. I am not a certified trainer in any capacity, though I have trained many of my own animals (including rats and cats!)
About: Dogs have been there my whole life and taking care of them brings me joy! I am very patient, loving and attentive to their needs. About: Picture this: you love your working breed dog... but they can be a boarder's nightmare. Does it make you nervous that they won't get enough stimulation while you're away? You can rest assured dogs with me will get 2-3 miles of trails a day along with 2+ hours (more on weekends!) of supervised play time with an equally energetic husky. Along with structured crate time to decompress. I've dealt with the worst of leash pullers and have trained my own dogs with high expectations of good behavior. You don't have to worry about your pup loosing manners or reverting to bad behaviors while you're away! I can reinforce proper training while he/she enjoys vacation at a beautiful hideaway with miles of private woods, right on the lake for some water play when it's hot! Your pet's schedule: 7-9am: breakfast! 1-2 miles of trails 9-12pm: crate time with options of mental stimulation toys and food toys 12-1pm: potty break and inside or outside supervised play time with my dog 1-5pm: crate time 5pm: dinner time and evening walks 6pm-bedtime: supervised time around the house, options to interact with other pets, myself, household members. Bedtime: crate or bed if they prefer Note: this is based on my regular daily work schedule for weekdays and weekends. Some flexibility on time frames, excersize amounts, etc are possible. Just ask and let's see if can work something out! I have a high focus on making sure every animal gets adequate amounts of physical and mental stimulation. If your dog has needs outside of what I have listed, let's have a conversation! Crating is required while I or my husband is not in the house. Your dog will be crated in a low stimulation environment away from other animals for proper decompression time. And will never be longer than 4 hours during the day.

“Keri was absolutely wonderful!!!! We needed a much needed dog sitter for July 4th weekend. Everyone was either booked or not interested, or no response. After a couple of responses our family agreed on Keri because we believed there was something really special about her. She was also about 40-50 mins away from where we were staying. We didn't care because we felt it was worth it. We were traveling from out of state visiting family. We have an American bully and was so nervous because it was his first time with anyone else overnight. Communication was excellent. She always responded and had a welcoming spirit from day one inquiring. When we arrived we had a hard time leaving Drako because he was not feeling it. He actually snapped at Keri a couple of times and was very protective of the new surroundings. When I say Keri held it down she really did. She welcomed us and there was 7 of us, our 4 children, niece , my husband and myself into her home to help get Drako acquainted. It was too late to try any other option but she was more than willing to stick in there. We spent almost 2 hours getting Drako comfortable and we pulled every trick out the bag. Finally he was comfortable after running around the yard and being outside with one of their dogs. He welcomed her and her children in his space and played with the other dogs. He finally took treats from Keri and went near her without snapping. Once getting him settled we snuck out once he was well relaxed and when we thought he was calm and not going to run behind us out the door. With our surprise we received pics of Drako calm and getting rubs from her husband and family and they fell in love with him. He was in a safe and very clean environment with a loving family and Drako became one with them. I absolutely would recommend Keri to anyone who needs a dog-sitter. She’s the best. I will go out my way to bring Drako to Keri when we travel again. She was the absolute best. There’s not enough words of gratitude to Thank Keri and her family for all they did for our boy. Keri is and will always be our number 1!”

I am available after 5 PM Monday through Thursday. I am available anytime from Friday at 4 PM until Monday at 7 AM. I spend my nights and weekends with my dog so we can easily include yours as well! I have one 3 year old female dog. She is fixed, trained and won’t be a problem. We go on walks and I have a long chain for the dogs to explore the yard with. I live in a safe neighborhood with no worries or issues. I treat the dogs like family. They can be on furniture and I normally do not crate my dog. If yours needs crated I have a spare room so they can feel safe and not upset not being with my dog.
