My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. About: Hi! I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. I grew up with dogs, currently have my own sweet 7-year-old pup, and actively work with multiple dog rescues where I help foster dogs in need. We have a large fenced-in backyard for plenty of safe playtime, there’s always someone here to give your dog attention, supervision, and lots of love while you’re away. Someone will always be home with your baby! They can play or go outside as much as they want! They will have plenty of play, love and cuddles! I have a fenced in back yard. About: I have raised two Labradors from 6 weeks old until now. So I understand every phase of a dogs life. I know how to train puppies, walk super energetic dogs, and how to be patient. I love and appreciate all dogs. I’m music teacher that only works on a per job basis. I work only 15-20hrs a week doing this so I will have plenty of time for your pup. I walk and feed them early, go to work for a few hours and come back and walk them more. I have a small fenced in back yard with a dog door. Your dog is welcome on all the furniture and all the rooms. I have dog beds, and toys throughout the house. I love giving dog milkbone treats.

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life, primarily large dogs up until end of life, as well as cats in the last 6 years. I’ve got extensive experience with these guys, and my love for these animals runs deep! I’m currently self-employed, so my schedule is very flexible for visiting or playing with your pets! The best times to schedule me are between 8am and 8pm, but I am open to other hours with planning in advance. :) I have a screened in yard, as well as 2 crates for small dogs and cats, comfy beds, and toys for them to play with! I also have treats and a dedicated space within my home for them to relax in.

I have 7+ years of pet sitting experience for NC State Vet Students and Faculty and currently work for a dog boarding and daycare facility in the Noda area. My background has given me hands-on experience with feeding, exercise, enrichment, and providing attentive compassionate care for every pet. I’m currently working Monday - Friday between 7am-11am (break) 2:30-7pm. On Saturday/Sunday the hours move around alittle but I remain to have a 3-4 hour mid day break for the opportunity to have midday checkups/care. My usual Check-in times when pet sitting have been 10-30 minutes before 6:30-7, 20-40 minutes between 11:30-2, and 20-30 minutes after 7:30. Depending on age, temper and health of the dog the visits can be rearranged for later or earlier visits if needed. With the circumstances of my apartment complex, I do in-house visit of my client instead of having the dog at my home. When arriving at my clients home, I like to first take the dog outside and make sure they use the bathroom. I will update the owner immediately if I see any issues with the pets stool (ie. Blood, Diarrhea, etc). After I like to feed depending on instructed time, or if no meal/ walk the dog around the owners yard or complex if possible. Before leaving I always make sure there is plenty of water and that at least one happy photo. Willing to administer medications in pill form. Also, will always follow clients instructions to a avoid any confusion or accidents.

I have a medium sized dog of my own who is an Australian Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix! He is very friendly and loves meetings new dogs and people. She was so accommodating to our" Jade" who is naturally nervous and is elderly w/a touch of arthritis. She communicated regularly w/updates an cute pics during Jade's stay and even calmed her down w/her favorite back rub when someone in the neighborhood decided to shoot fireworks that night. “I was nervous to leave my Frenchie for a week while I was away for business until I met Steve! During our initial meet and greet Steve took time to answer any questions that I had and also impressed me with his knowledge of Frenchie care. During my pups week stay, I was provided great pictures and updates through out the day which showed a happy pup and made me a happy mama. Steves professionalism and level of care warrants a 5 star rating. I definitely recommend booking with him and plan to rebook in the future.”
