About: 11 years caring for my Labrador, including training, grooming, feeding, and daily care. Patient, attentive, and skilled at building trust with pets of all ages. My schedule is pretty flexible, and I work around the pets in my care. I currently offer boarding, daycare, drop-in visits, and walks throughout the week. I’m happy to accommodate earlier or later times whenever possible—just ask! 😊 I live with my husband in a pet-friendly apartment in NoDa with an elevator, so there are no stairs to worry about. We currently don’t have any resident pets, creating a calm environment that works especially well for senior dogs, anxious pets, and pets who prefer having the space to themselves. I’ve had animals my entire life. I raised and trained my own Labrador Retriever from the time she was 47 days old, and she was my best friend for 11 wonderful years. I also recently cared for both my senior Labrador and my senior cat through their health challenges, so I’m comfortable following routines, administering medications, and adapting to each pet’s individual needs. I enjoy grooming and helping puppies learn good habits through patience, consistency, and positive reinforcement. My goal is to make every pet feel safe, understood, and right at home. To provide personalized care, I keep my bookings small. Occasionally, there may be one other friendly guest staying at the same time, depending on compatibility and everyone’s comfort level. If your pet does best as the only pet, please let me know, and I’ll do my best to accommodate their needs.

About: I’m the definition of a “dog person” — we’ve had several of our own, and we’ve been a boarding stop for friends and family for years. I’m not working full-time right now, so I have plenty of time to exercise your fur-friend, or just drop in for a visit! If you have any specific questions or concerns, I’d be happy to answer them! I’m not working full-time at the moment, so I’m available any day, at any time! Plenty of time for long walks or drop-ins, whatever your pet needs. Whatever you and your pet are comfortable with! I’ve dealt with tiny dogs and huge dogs, seniors and young puppies — they’re all special to me.

About: I grew up with dogs both big and small- from a rescue Beagle, to a Yorkie, and now my family’s 2 year old Anatolian Shepherd before moving from Maryland to Charlotte. I also grew up with 2 cats, Sumo and Shelby, so I have experience with both furry friends! I work remote, so I have a very flexible schedule. I also started more recently volunteering at the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Animal Shelter. I’d love to take care of your pet! 🐾❤️ I currently work remote 9am-5pm Monday-Friday, so I have the flexibility to be with and care for your pet throughout the day. My evenings are pretty relaxed, so I can even give your pet all of the love once I’m done with work for the day! I am also available on the weekends to do the same. I live in an apartment with 2 other women right across the street from a large park for your dog to play! I’m also not too far from the rail trail, so if your dog is friendly with other dogs I can even take them to the trail for some exercise. In my clients’ homes, I will be sure to follow any instructions to make sure you and your pet are comfortable!
About: I've been around animals since I was a little kid. Grew up on my grandparents' farm taking care of dogs, bunnies, pigs, sheep, cows, you name it. That's where my love for them started. I've trained every dog I've ever owned myself — from a big Rottweiler to a tiny Chihuahua-pug mix, and now my German Shepherd that I raised from a puppy. I'm good at reading their body language, teaching manners, and fixing leash reactivity so walks are actually enjoyable. Been walking dogs for friends and family for years and house-sat a bunch of times. I'll treat your pets like my own — give them the love and attention they deserve, keep them well-behaved, and make sure you have total peace of mind while you're gone. Your dog will be spoiled, safe, and happy with me. I just got laid off from my job, so my schedule is wide open right now. I’m home pretty much all day, every day — weekdays and weekends. That means I can take your dog out for potty breaks, longer walks, playtime, whatever they need. I’ve got plenty of time to make sure they’re well taken care of. In my home, the dog always gets my full attention. I'll make sure they feel safe and comfortable, keep them entertained with playtime, and work on training — I love watching them go from not knowing a command to nailing a solid sit, heel, or place. Of course I'll handle all the basics too — feeding exactly how you tell me, potty breaks on schedule, and making sure they're never stressed or bored. Whether it's at my place or yours, I'll treat your dog like my own and give them the attention they need.

I work fully remote, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to take dogs on walks, provide drop in visits, and give them the attention they need. I also enjoy going on walks and runs as part of my own routine, so staying active with dogs is something I genuinely enjoy. Whether I am caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, my priority is always providing a safe environment. I live in an apartment community with a fenced-in dog park, which provides a secure space for dogs to get exercise and enjoy time outdoors while being closely supervised. I am attentive to each pet’s routine and needs, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions provided by the owner.

“David is great at communicating and I felt very comfortable leaving my pup, Charlie, with him. Charlie isn’t normally great with strangers, but he didn’t even bark once at David. I was so glad when I picked up a happy dog!”

About: I have a full-time remote position which allows me lots of flexibility and outdoor breaks! I have a 5 year old cockapoo who is my laziest coworker. She loves other dogs and would enjoy some friends to play with! My schedule is very flexible so last minute walk requests is definitely something I can do! About: Hi, I'm McKenna! My family currently owns 3 German shepherds in Dallas, Texas, which I care for intermittently. I've lived with large dogs my entire life, and I have extensive experience walking multiple-sized dogs simultaneously. During my high school years in Texas, I cared for my neighbors' dogs and walked them several times a day. Through my Catholic high school's community service, I was additionally given the opportunity to volunteer at numerous animal shelters. I always walk dogs on a secure leash and/or harness to comply with county animal ordinances. I can follow any behavioral preferences you set forth, such as not allowing your dog to jump during introductions, etc. I am very loving with pets and will not only provide superb care, but also well-deserved belly rubs! I am a former legal assistant, currently studying for the LSAT, which provides great flexibility during weekdays. I am moving to Raleigh at the beginning of August for a career transition, and I can work the entirety of July in the Charlotte area. Safety and kind care are key. I'm committed to the security of your home, as I handled very sensitive and private information while working for a personal injury firm these past 2 and a half years. I will provide a reassuring environment for your furry friend and ensure you stay communicated through photos and quick responses.

About: I’ve always loved animals and taking care of them is something I love. I took some vet classes in high school that helped me learn the basics! Such as their body behavior, basic handling, and how to administer medication. I also gained some experience with grooming and caring for senior dogs, as I understand older pets need extra patience and attention. I’ve trained my own dog to perform many tricks and sleep on his own, so if you have a puppy I’d be more than happy to show them some basic tricks and commands during our time together. While training takes time I’m always happy to help them learn more and build good habits. I’m currently available to do walks or pet visits in the evening where I can then on a walk or even go to the park and play. I am also available to do boarding, walks, and home visits all day on Fridays and Sundays. I live in an apartment where there is a little doggy park and it’s a very dog friendly environment. Inside my apartment they are able to be on the furniture and be with me at all times. I will be taking them out every 1-2 hours or if you need me to do it more often I would be more than happy to. While they are with me if you have any extra requests to have them be on the bed or keep them in their crate I will be happy to follow that.
“Emily was incredible. Extremely communicative and responsive, paid attention to the weather and adjusted walk times to take our dog out before an incoming storm or to beat an especially hot day. About: I’m Ashley, a lifelong dog lover with a calm, intuitive energy that animals gravitate toward. My family has owned both dogs and a cat since I was a kid, and have had my own fur baby Kali for over 9 years now. My group of friends also have several dogs and playmates of Kali’s, that they have also entrusted me with dog sitting because I’m the perfect mix of nurturing, active and reliable. Your pup can expect: - Plenty of walks, playtime and affection - A clean, peaceful home environment - A large, fenced in backyard to play and relax - An excellent communicator with lots of photo updates I’m great at adapting to each dog’s personality, tuning into what your dog needs. I’ll follow your routines exactly, ask thoughtful questions and treat your dog like my own. I know how stressful it can be to leave your fur baby with someone new. My goal is to give you peace of mind, keep your dog healthy and happy, and make the experience smooth, safe and positive for everyone! I work from home full-time, allowing plenty of pup attention throughout the day, including frequent potty breaks, structured walks, and lot of companionship and belly rubs! I’m already in the habit of taking my own dog Kali on 30 to 60 minute walks most days of the week, and I’m happy to adjust the routine based on your dog’s needs — shorter, more frequent walks, longer adventures or anything in between. I keep a very clean, calm and pet-friendly home in my one-story house. Especially working from home, it’s very easy for me to keep a close eye on your dog’s safety and comfort, and dogs are never left unattended for long periods. I follow your dog’s routines closely: feeding schedules, crate preferences, sleep habits and any special instructions. You can expect clear communication, thoughtful updates and a fun environment where your pup can relax or play. I have a large, fully fenced backyard for playtime and frequent potty breaks. My neighborhood is very pet-friendly with quiet streets that are perfect for daily walks, sniff breaks or early evening strolls. Kali is uncrated at home, but she has plenty of experience being around dogs who follow different routines. Whether your pup is uncrated, crated for short periods of time during the day, or sleeps in their crate at night, I can easily accommodate their schedule and keep things consistent with what they’re used to.
“Ana is amazing! My dog stayed with her for a weekend. She was keeping me updated and sending pictures and videos. She even offered to drop my dog off! My dog loves sleeping under the bed sheets and she let him sleep like that. He was playing with her boyfriend’s dog but first she asked if I am ok with that. She was following all the instructions I gave to her and my dog loves her! Your dog is in the best hands if you choose Ana!”

“Clover had a great time with Karina and her pups. She sent us a ton of pics, which we greatly appreciated. Would love to stay with her again.”

“Cait-Lynn took amazing care of our dog Rooney! We booked her for 9 nights of boarding at her home. She sent us updates with pictures every day and even a video of him playing! We could tell he had a wonderful time with her and will definitely be using her again :)”

“Adriana is the absolute best. If you see this review and are deciding between her or another person, do yourself a favor and book her right now. She goes above and beyond with everything.”

About: I grew up having dogs and I’m just naturally good with them. I can pay special attention to their needs and love going for walks. I had to put my body down recently and really miss the company. I have a flexible enough work schedule to be able to take your pet out as much as needed. I will communicate if I will be gone for an extended period of time to make sure that your pet will be OK. I have a fenced backyard with grass that your pet can be easily be let out. I also live in a nice neighborhood that is lovely for taking walks.
“Jessyca was great with my dog! She showed nothing but love when it came to my pup! She communicated throughout my trip and took care of all my dogs needs! I 1000% recommend and will indeed be back!”

“Great! Thanks so much for helping us take a spontaneous trip to visit with a family member in Charleston. This was clearly a loving and wonderful environment for our dog. Again, many thanks.”
