About: I’ve been around dogs all my life , and focused on fostering many dogs of all ages and caring for my adopted dog for the last 10 years . Unfortunately my dog has passed and I miss being around fur babies ! Looking for opportunities to be around them more I work from home full time during the week and am home on weekends . About: Dogs have been the center of my life for over 16 years. My journey started with my two little terriers. A Yorkie and a Silky Terrier who quickly turned my love for animals into a lifelong passion and purpose. Over the years I became the person friends, family, and neighbors call when they find an animal in need. Whether it's helping rescue a neglected dog, connecting someone with a shelter, or stepping in to care for a pet, I’ve always felt a deep responsibility to advocate for animals who can’t speak for themselves. In August 2023 I lost my soul dog, Lola, and the grief was overwhelming. In her honor, I began volunteering at the Charlotte Mecklenburg Animal Shelter in October 2023. Helping the dogs there reminded me how much love I still had to give. Since then I’ve fostered dogs for the shelter as well as local rescues like Peanut’s Place Small Dog Rescue and FurBabies Animal Rescue. Every foster that has passed through my home has received my full heart and dedication, and seeing them find loving homes has been one of the most rewarding experiences of my life. In 2024 I foster-failed with my sweet girl Lacey, who reminded me so much of Lola and became a permanent part of my family. Caring for rescue dogs has given me experience with dogs of many breeds, temperaments, and ages, from shy and scared pups to energetic personalities who just need guidance and love. Dogs aren’t just pets to me, they are family. I treat every dog in my care the same way I treat my own. I am currently working part-time, so I am home most of the day. My schedule is flexible and can make myself available for walks and feedings morning midday afternoons and evenings as needed. Providing a safe, loving, and calm environment is always my top priority. I live in a townhome with a small fenced backyard, and our neighborhood is extremely dog-friendly. About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, of all shapes and sizes, and a fair amount of cats. In addition, my Mom was an animal rehabilitative specialist throughout my life so I’ve learned to care for all types of critters - nothing would surprise me! I’m interested in finding more activities outside of professional work and I can’t think of a better way than to help other pet owners give their best friends fun and gentle care when life gets too busy. I live in a house with a huge, fenced-in backyard that your pet can roam freely in. I have a 3 year old pug named Spud who gets all of my attention every day! As a college athlete, I am used to maintaining a structured schedule, staying active, and being responsible. I make time each day for exercise, walks, and outdoor activities, which makes caring for active pets a great fit for my lifestyle. Whether it's feeding, walking, playing, or providing companionship, I enjoy spending time with animals and ensuring they receive the attention and care they need. My flexible schedule allows me to consistently meet pets' needs and provide reliable care throughout the week. When caring for pets in my home or a client's home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and following their normal routine as closely as possible. I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and playtime, and receive lots of attention and affection. For dogs, I provide walks and active play based on their energy level. I also keep owners updated with messages and photos so they can feel confident their pet is being well cared for. My goal is to make every pet feel happy, secure, and loved while their owner is away.
About: I am a HUGE dog lover who enjoys dogs of all breeds. I have cared for dogs of all ages, breeds and needs. I have experience with dogs with health concerns such as arthritis, seizures, anxiety etc. My experience also includes dogs of all personalities as I have been caring for dogs in different capacities for 12 years. I grew up with dogs and have experience with fostering, as well. My most recent experience has been with a one year old Pit Bull and a six month old Australian Shepard. I strive to provide the same care for your dog that you would. I will love and care for your dog like he/she is my own! I do have an Australian Sheppard puppy. He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play and would love to have a friend visit!
About: I have a lot of experience with animals other than cats/dogs. Including reptiles, rodents , farm animals, fish, and inverts. I also know how to properly clean habitats and fish tanks big or small. My job is treat your animal like it’s my own. I’m very flexible and can work with any type of animal. I own 2 dogs myself one German Shepard and a Great Dane , and also 2 cats and 4 fish tanks! I’ve grown up around all kinds of animals in my life. I love all animals big or small. I’ve done over 100 services through wag with a 5 star rating for each one. Plus multiple personal clients. I make my own schedule so I can be available whenever needed. Night or day. I have my own transportation as well. I’m able to meet your needs I can do whatever is needed to make you and your animal happy!
