About: Hi! I'm Nicole and I was born and raised in the Charlotte area and went to Weddington for middle and high school. I left for school at NC State and NC Central to study nutrition and dietetics, and then moved to Nashville before returning to Charlotte (my favorite place to live actually!). I have been caring for pets of all sizes for years -- my parents have a 10 pounds Boston Terrier, and my fiance and I have a 100lb yellow lab and a 60 pound Aussie/Pomeranian. About: I raised my Shih Tzu from 3 months up until I lost him to kidney disease on 9/11/2024. I walked him on a regular basis except rainy days (he hated getting wet lol), he was potty trained and free to roam the house while I was not home. Everyone ( family, friends, neighbors) knew how much I loved and cared for him. When he was in his last days from kidney failure, I stayed by his side until the end. I kept his routine the same. I pushed him in his stroller when he could not walk anymore. Administered him an IV daily to keep him hydrated when he barely ate and drank. I laid with him and held him until he let me know it was time for him to go to that Rainbow Bridge. As a newly retired person, I have plenty of time to give your furry friend(s) all the love, walks, and attention they need and deserve. Whether in my home or a clients, I provide a comfortable environment with meals, walks, playtime and companionship. I follow their routines as instructed to keep them happy and comfortable.
About: I have always had a love for all dogs and want to pat every one I see! We had our own beautiful pup previously. As we don’t have a dog right now, I love to treat yours like family and make sure they feel safe, loved and neutered for while in my care. I can only have hypoallergenic dogs in my home right now but happy to do drop ins or walk any type of dog. For drop ins we have the ability to be flexible with time and for in boarding it means your dog will have people around a majority of the time. Depending on distance I will be available for your pets for a mid day check in. I have experience at the Humane Society of Eastern North Carolina; walking/playing with dogs and feeding cats. About: I have raised two Labradors from 6 weeks old until now. So I understand every phase of a dogs life. I know how to train puppies, walk super energetic dogs, and how to be patient. I love and appreciate all dogs. I’m music teacher that only works on a per job basis. I work only 15-20hrs a week doing this so I will have plenty of time for your pup. I walk and feed them early, go to work for a few hours and come back and walk them more. I have a small fenced in back yard with a dog door. Your dog is welcome on all the furniture and all the rooms. I have dog beds, and toys throughout the house. I love giving dog milkbone treats.
