About: Family had a dog when i was 10 that i was responsible for and i loved, played and cared for him. After high school i went into the Army and ended up working with dogs as a Military police for 7 years which i loved. During all this time i always had a dog or dogs and now i have a cat. About: I am retired, have trained and shown dogs for over fifty years, live in a condo with one sheltie and one cat. I like to sit ONE dog at a time so it can have special one on one attention. Special arrangements can be made with two dogs that are from the same family. My floors are tile and I sterilize them between visits. I do NOT have a fenced yard but we have a 20 x 80 fenced dog run right outside my back door and we walk every two to three hours and once during the night. Since I am retired, I can be with your dog 24/7 with small exceptions. The dogs are allowed on the furniture and in the bed. I do insist that dogs be house trained and crate trained since we feed in crates or crate them if I have to be away. If you want personal care and attention for your dog, we would love to supply that service. We do NOT do meet and greets. We find that those brief encounters simply put stress on my dogs and yours. I take about an hour when a dog has arrived to acclimate him safely and comfortably. I only care for small dogs, under 30 pounds, and no puppies. Since I am retired, my schedule is pretty much staying around the house. There are no children and things are pretty quiet most of the time. About: I have always had a love for all dogs and want to pat every one I see! We had our own beautiful pup previously. As we don’t have a dog right now, I love to treat yours like family and make sure they feel safe, loved and neutered for while in my care. I can only have hypoallergenic dogs in my home right now but happy to do drop ins or walk any type of dog. I work from home so my schedule is very flexible and gives me more time to provide attention to your fur baby. For drop ins we have the ability to be flexible with time and for in boarding it means your dog will have people around a majority of the time. About: Previous owner of two small dogs who lived to 16 and 13. Have experience with a dog with intense medical needs (epilepsy) and have administered medication previously. Have experience in dog and cat care through volunteering at an animal shelter (Pawmetto Lifeline, SC). Currently free for the summer time (weekdays 11am-6pm) as I am an educator. Would be open to doing weekend work (also 11-6pm) once school begins. Since I have experience working with a special needs dog, I understand the importance of timeliness and attention to detail. About: I have grown up with dogs and have plenty of experience caring for them. I pet sat frequently growing up, and helped my roommates in college with their animals (taking them out, caring for them, walking them, taking them to dog parks). I also have experience caring for cats and chickens, so I’m really up for whatever! I currently work full time as a teacher. Work ends at 3:30, so during the week I’m primarily available to check in, walk your pup, and hang out for a little while if need be. I love going outside, so I’m more than happy to take dogs for long walks! I can only do overnight care on the weekends since I teach during the week, and I live in an apartment currently so I can’t board any animals. Starting June I am on summer break and so I have a lot more availability :) I have little experience in terms of professional training, but I’m always looking to learn from resources around me. I know lots of tips from online resources, and I have plenty of experience handling dogs from growing up; I was responsible for feeding and walking the dogs. About: My love for animals started when I was a kid, my mom still laughs about how I wanted to bring home every dog and cat we passed on the street 😅 When I was 13, my family got our first dog - a Labrador named Chelsea, who was my best friend for 12 years. That’s where I learned the real stuff: reading a dog’s energy, handling leash interactions with other dogs, sticking to feeding schedules and planning walks that actually fit the dog’s needs🥹 I now have my own miniature dachshund, so I know firsthand what it means to trust someone with your pet. I treat every dog like my own, with patience, attention and a whole lot of love 🐾 What you can expect from me: • I stick to your pet’s routine so they feel calm and safe, even when you’re away • I’m flexible with timing for walks, potty breaks, and feeding • I always send photo updates so you know your fur baby is doing great • I suggest a meet & greet before the first booking I work mostly from home, which means I have flexible availability throughout the day. I can easily adjust to your pet’s schedule, whether it’s a morning walk, a midday check-in or an afternoon potty break. When visiting a client’s home, I stick to the pet’s usual routine as much as possible, so they feel calm, comfortable and loved even when their parents are not around🫂 Also I’d love to know about your pet’s habits, likes and dislikes, feeding schedule, any dietary needs or meds, and how they like to play. If it’s a dog, I’d also love to know how they do with other dogs and people on walks, whether they prefer active or laid-back outings, and if they have a favorite route or love exploring new spots🥰
About: I am a HUGE dog lover who enjoys dogs of all breeds. I have cared for dogs of all ages, breeds and needs. I have experience with dogs with health concerns such as arthritis, seizures, anxiety etc. My experience also includes dogs of all personalities as I have been caring for dogs in different capacities for 12 years. I grew up with dogs and have experience with fostering, as well. My most recent experience has been with a one year old Pit Bull and a six month old Australian Shepard. I strive to provide the same care for your dog that you would. I will love and care for your dog like he/she is my own! I do have an Australian Sheppard puppy. He is house trained and gets along well with other dogs. He loves to play and would love to have a friend visit!
