Currently, I have two big, high energy dogs of my own a golden retriever and a husky! I love animals and understand needing to feel like your pet is safe and loved while you’re away! About: I raised my Shih Tzu from 3 months up until I lost him to kidney disease on 9/11/2024. I walked him on a regular basis except rainy days (he hated getting wet lol), he was potty trained and free to roam the house while I was not home. Everyone ( family, friends, neighbors) knew how much I loved and cared for him. When he was in his last days from kidney failure, I stayed by his side until the end. I kept his routine the same. I pushed him in his stroller when he could not walk anymore. Administered him an IV daily to keep him hydrated when he barely ate and drank. I laid with him and held him until he let me know it was time for him to go to that Rainbow Bridge. As a newly retired person, I have plenty of time to give your furry friend(s) all the love, walks, and attention they need and deserve. I walk and feed them early, go to work for a few hours and come back and walk them more. I have a small fenced in back yard with a dog door. I have a fenced in dog park at my apartment which I bring my own pup to at least once a day. We also like to go on walks around the neighborhood. I live in a very pet friendly apartment complex. I think it’s so important that pets are treated like family and that’s what I want to do for your dog: treat them like family and care for them. I work from home, so my schedule is super flexible! I can easily stop by for walks, playtime, or check-ins throughout the day. If your pet needs extra company, I can even bring my laptop and work from your house to keep them comfortable and cared for for hours. Whether they need a walk, feeding, playtime, or just some company, I’ll make sure they’re well cared for and are happy while you are away!
