About: I am a registered nurse currently staying at home with my two children. I am a huge dog lover and am looking to make some extra income while staying home with my babies. I grew up in a household that always had dogs as part of the family and have a lot of experience taking care of dogs. My family bred our labs and our golden retrievers so I have experience with puppies as well. Each liter had about ten puppies and it was my responsibility to take them out, feed them, clean up after them and of course show them extra love and play with them. Shawna immediately offered her care for my diabetic senior kitty, Margo! She did an excellent job administering insulin. Especially with Margo having behavioral issues due to a severe arthritis flare-up, as I discovered upon taking her to the vet today. Margo was angry because she was in a lot of pain, upset I was gone, and wasn’t eating. Shawna worked with my brother to bring her comfort and get her the care she needed. I have a whole house generator so in case of storms, there will be no interruption in service. I prepare my dog's meals using all natural ingredients (whole foods) and make a very healthy bone broth and organic barley. With parental permission I can use this as topper for your dog's kibble. I have plenty of time in the afternoons that I am available to do drop in visits or walks. I would be best suited to do drop-in visits or walks. I would be able to stop by for however long is needed during my available time throughout the day to care for your pets. I will follow whatever instructions are given to me in order to care for your pets correctly.
About: I've taken care of dogs, for walking and overnight arrangements, over the last 5 years and enjoy the experience. I'm easy to work with and a trustworthy person. I'm retired and have a flexible schedule so requests for daytime care, last minute emergency situations, or overnight stays are usually easy to accommodate and welcome. I will spend time with the pet, and the owner, to understand how to best care for your pup and to make sure we are aligned on the expectation when in my care.

I set aside a little time each day for walks, play, or training so they get exercise and attention. I also do quick things like brushing or cleaning up after them as part of my everyday chores. Once a week, I do a deeper clean, wash their bedding, and check that they’re healthy and have everything they need. Making these things part of my normal routine keeps it easy and helps me stay consistent. I work part time so I have plenty of time on my hands. When I care for pets in my home or a client’s home, I focus on keeping them safe, comfortable, and happy while sticking to their familiar routine. I make sure they’re fed on schedule with the right portions, always have fresh water, and get plenty of exercise and playtime suited to their energy level. I also handle things like cleaning up after them, brushing or light grooming, and giving medication if needed. In a client’s home, I follow their specific instructions closely to keep their pet’s routine consistent and the environment stress-free. I spend time giving them attention and affection so they feel secure and cared for while their owner is away. I don’t have a fence around my porch area but i do have an open field i can take them to play in & I also have a leash. Also there’s only one dog that gets walked in my neighborhood and he’s very friendly!
