About: I have been a Yorkie, schnauzer or spaniel owner for years and just love the little furry family members. Currently Maggie May (my sweet rescue) and I love the opportunity to walk, keep and cuddle your "family member". I even make dog biscuits for the cutie pies if their owners give the okay. The safety and happiness of your dog is my primary concern. They will get a lot of love and the best possible care. Bottom line, I am an animal lover! I have been the go to person for my friends for years when they need a dog sitter or walker. I love having four legged friends as guests in my home. I work from home so am always available for the fur babies. About: I have over 30 years experience taking care of dogs and will provide the love and care they need in their new "home away from home". I have a whole house generator so in case of storms, there will be no interruption in service. I am a very active individual and typically walk at least 3-5 miles per day with my little toy fox terrier. I am a nature lover and frequent the area's hiking trails and love to get out on the beach. I prepare my dog's meals using all natural ingredients (whole foods) and make a very healthy bone broth and organic barley. With parental permission I can use this as topper for your dog's kibble. I am a retired school teacher and am available year round. I am basically home all the time when I am not out on the nature trails. I would prefer sitting for dogs that weigh 30 pounds or less. I had the experience of assisting in the birth of our Chihuahua giving birth to 6 pups. At one point we had 5 dogs and a cat from breeds from a Italian Cane Corso to Chihuahua's. She has a few sweet little dogs of her own and they became fast friends with Lizzy. She gave Lizzy free rein of her home, took her for walks and gave her lots and lots and lots of love!! I would hire Melissa again in a heartbeat!”

She treated him like one of her own, making sure he was comfortable as this was his first time boarding, and she even ordered him something for his upset tummy when she noticed something was a little off. Max loved playing with her pups and definitly got his exercise in! Many updates and pictures, excellent communication. Already booked a second visit!”
“This is the second time Amanda has taken care of our dogs and both times I was delighted with the job she did. This time we added a puppy to the mix, a very high-maintenance puppy at that and she handled them with skill and a clearly experienced hand. And didn’t complain at all about the puppy. She also kept us updated with pictures and a video or two and let us know what the dogs were up to. I’m never happy to be away from my pups, but if I must be, I’m glad to have someone like Amanda to take care of them.”

“Our dog, Cleo, spent 5 days and nights with Ilana and family and seems to have had a great time. She was able to maintain her usual habits (sleeping in bed with humans :-), lounging on furniture as she pleases, and sharing treats and food with anyone nearby) with an added bonus of a walk or two a day plus daily dog park visits! Who could ask for anything more! We received updates several times a day with pics and notes, and Ilana responded immediately any time i contacted her before or during. Ilana, her husband and dog seem to care very much about dogs and making guests' stays as fun and comfortable as possible! Happy to have found Ilana !”
