About: Along with cats and dogs, I have cared for many exotics such as reptiles, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Your pets are family and I will care for them as if they are mine. I am currently a part-time sitter as I’m also a senior in college and work as a vet tech for an emergency clinic. About: I’ve always been an animal lover, from horses to reptiles! I’ve had dogs and cats my whole life, and some of the others throughout. We recently lost our dog to cancer at just shy of 13 years old, and I’m currently volunteering as a dog walker at the animal shelter to help fill that void. I work full time, but my daughter and I would love to find a dog to walk Wednesday through Friday evenings, or weekends! We are available some weekends for dog/cat care while you’re away as well. About: While in nursing school I would dog walk, petsit, house sitting to earn pocket money. Since then we’ve owned 4 male Golden Retrievers. Sweet boys! I’m currently working as an RN in Raleigh and have taken off the month of July to spend in the fresh mountain air. I am an avid walker - so why not incorporate some dog walks! Our beloved Hank dog passed away this past spring. Missing him! I am mostly interested in WALKING and drop-in visits. At this point I’m not seeking pet overnights. About: I grew up on a farm and so I have been taking care of a variety of animals since I was a child. I’ve had many dogs and cats as well as other farm animals so I have a wide range of experiences. I am capable of both infant and senior animal care if needed as well. I am currently a student and working part time but I have lots of time before and after my classes and work to care for animals, I have a car and live close to the town center of Boone. Potty breaks are provided every 3-4 hours for dogs and longer walks or play outdoors at least once a day weather permitting. I have experience handling separation anxiety and other behavioral or complicated health issues, including those needing injections or oral medication.

I can commit to short but frequent visits and/or longer drop ins that can include a walk and some play time. I am able to drive to your house and safely care for your animals. I grew up with animals and around animals making me comfortable with all breeds and temperaments. I am extremely detail oriented and have wide experience house sitting and dog/cat sitting. I enjoy getting animals outside for walks or taking them to a dog park for fresh air and new smells.
