About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed being around all kinds of pets- from cats and dogs to farm animals. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I’ve dreamed of having the opportunity to spend more time with them. My husband and I moved to Wilmington about 10 years ago, and for much of that time, life kept us so busy that having a pet of our own didn’t feel fair. Since I haven’t had pets of my own during this time, I’ve happily gotten my animal fix by pet sitting for friends and caring for their cats and dogs whenever they’ve needed someone they trust. I work away from home (Registered Nurse since 2016) just one day a week, which gives me plenty of flexibility and time to give your pets the attention, companionship, walks, playtime, and love they deserve. I have a fenced in yard, a nice neighborhood for walks and no other pets to care for. I know how important it is to feel comfortable leaving your pets in someone else’s care, and I’ll treat them like they’re my own.

About: I grew up with a wheaten terrier. I would always feed and walk neighbors pets while they were on vacation and watched neighbors pets in my home while they were gone for a week. I currently live with my boyfriend and his dog however they will be gone for the next 2 months so there will be no pets in the home. I work M-F, 8AM-3PM. I go on an 2-5 mile walk everyday and can tailor my activity to your dog’s needs. I like to walk around the loop in Wrightsville beach or on the river walk downtown! About: We have been taking care of dogs since 2018! We are so enjoying it!! Hubby walks the dogs and I cuddle and play! It's a win win for your fur baby! For doggie day care we are available between 8 am and 6pm Monday through Friday. Would love long term . We do have one small dog. For boarding we are available both weekdays and weekends. We have a nice fenced-in backyard and my husband takes the dogs out for walks when possible! When that option isn't available,they have dedicated playtime in the yard.We have one dog that is not initially playful but takes a while to warm up but he does typically! I do require a meet and greet before committing and for pets to show proof of rabies shots,heartworm and flea and tic treatments. I work part time outside the home but my hubby works part time in the home so rarely are we both gone at the same time. I have a fenced in yard and my husband tries to walk our dog daily.Typically will hit the area walking trails. If necessary, he is willing to walk animals separately(older dog who can not walk as long or dogs who have health challenges)Our dog is aloof and takes a bit of time to adjust but usually does. About: I had two rambunctious but precious dogs growing up, so I'm not put off by a tough exterior. I know a mean bark does not equal a mean soul. I've dog, cat, and house sat for friends and teachers in the past, and most recently I've been volunteering at Addie Catz Sanctuary, so I'm well accustomed to cleaning messes, navigating reactive animals, and loving on pets. I have experience with large dogs and small dogs, as well as cats and small animals like hamsters. When your pet stays at our house they are allowed in bed and on our furniture. The only thing I ask is that your pet is kid, dog, and cat friendly :) If you would like to bring your animal to my house I would be more than happy to watch them here, but if you would rather me come to your house that is fine too! I do offer drop in visits at your house but am unable to stay there while you are away. When your pet is at our house they will be loved and spoiled like one of our own pets :) *Updated 11/01/2024- I am a stay at home mom of 5 kids and a full time pet sitter. I will send pictures of your pet while you are away but I do only send pictures every other day unless it is a one night stay or Doggy daycare. (you'll get pictures that day!) If you are interested in having pictures sent to you every day or are interested in any additional services, I do charge an extra fee which can be discussed and added on when booking. :) Also, I do usually send my pictures and updates in the evening. About: I've been around well trained and untrained dogs alike for most of my life. I am capable with strong dogs, aggressive dogs, and dogs who just have tons of energy! I am currently doing gig work in the film industry, so in between gigs I have plenty of time to care for our furry friends. I care for other people's pets same as I care for mine at home. Simple basics are essential, but the magic happens when you build a bond and enrich each other's time together.
About: I been taking care of dogs mostly since I was 6 years old . My best friend has a giant Saint Bernard and I been helping her take care of him for the past 6 years . I love him :) I love taking care of all animals big or small . Right now I help my best friend take care of her giant Saint Bernard :) I’m always respectful of someone else’s home and respect all their wishes and rules in or out of the house . And I always clean up after every visit .
About: Horses. Currently have 2 horses and have been around them since I was 3. Have only had my 2 since 2010. Also have 2 dogs that were originally from the Wake County Animal Center and fostered by me and have experience administering medication as needed for multiple species. I have a rabbit, dove, cat, and chickens. I currently work full time as an Animal Health Care Technician so would be available for overnight care, evening and early morning walks. On days I am off I would be happy to do middle of the day walks and help as best as possible! I can easily crate your dog if needed but if you think they would be more comfortable at your house I can keep them in their own environment to be suit them! and you!
About: I've been pet sitting since I was 8, I've always loved animals, and I spent time in senior care when I was younger as well. I will follow any and all instructions for pet care in my clients home. I love to run around and play so I'm very good with energetic pets as well. I work out a lot so bigger dogs won't be an issue either. I will take care of all pets to the best of my ability.
About: I have been caring for doing for ten years. I have cared for two of my own dogs over along with my neighbor and friends. I love hanging out in my backyard with the dogs. About: I have four cats and a german shepherd. I grew up having dogs and cats my whole life. I have raised kittens and bottle fed them and have experience with small dogs and very large dogs. I currently work full time monday- friday. I am available early mornings, I have an hour lunch break, and I am available after 3pm most days! I am free all day on the weekends. I can easily travel to care for your pets and do whatever is necessary to provide proper care! I cannot bring your pets to my home however I can transport them!

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs, including my own dogs in the past which were pitbull German Shepherd, English bulldog and labs! I currently don't have any dogs but I love animals! I currently work Monday through Friday until 330 but I'm able to check on your dogs first thing in the morning on my lunch break and as well as after work and before bed if needed! I used to have my own dog so i am trained in discipline and earning their trust so they feel safe and happy with me! I always reward good behavior!
