“We had a great experience using Katie and Jeremy to watch our dog. It was obvious that they love animals. They were kind and flexible and so easy to work with. This was our first time leaving our young dog and so we were a bit anxious. As a pup our dog has a lot of energy but he also has some medical conditions involving his back legs/knees which will be corrected this summer with surgery. Navigating these two things can be a challenge but Katie and Jeremy had no difficulty at all - they sent many photos so we could see how well our pup was doing and this immediately put us at ease. They have a lovely property with a fenced in yard and a back porch - our dog was in dogggie- heaven. We were actually a bit worried he wouldn’t want to come home!! LOL! About: Since I was 16, I have been the go to pet/home sitter for the church I grew up in. Word spread quickly of my reliability and soon, it became a full “part-time” gig. I’ve cared for birds, cats, dogs of ALL sizes, reptiles, fish, mice and lots of other gerbil sized fluff balls. Along with classic domesticated animals, I’m also familiar with caring for a handful of farm animals such as; chickens, goats, and horses. I’m currently working in the wonderful world of Wilderness Therapy. This means I work 15 days in the field and then have 13 days off. During these 2 week periods of free time, I would be honored to care for and get to know your pets! I’m primarily offering housesitting and drop in visits as I have 2 feline friends, Chloe and Noir, at home that are wary of “strangers”. About: Hello! I have been taking care of various animals (dogs, cats, rabbits) nearly my entire life! I have been a dog walker/sitter for others fur babies since I was in high school. I have experience with all different types of quirky personalities and health needs. I adopted my Nellie girl (cocker spaniel) in 2017 and she has not left my side since! We love staying active and she loves to cuddle. Nellie is comfortable around all friendly dogs and cats, and is always up for a game of tug of war. About: I've grown up with dogs my entire life. Never have had less than 3 dogs at once. Prior to relocating to North Carolina, I worked full-time for an established South Tampa pet-sitting/ vacation care company. I am available on a part-time and vacation basis. I work full-time from home so I am able to give your pup all the attention needed while they are in my home. I try to keep your pup's routine as close to normal as I possibly can. I want them to feel comfortable and relaxed and I want you as a pet parent, to feel that same way. Your pup will be well taken care of and be treated as if they were one of my own family members. Available for Biltmore pet care as well! If you are in from out of town and want to tour the Biltmore house, I’ll come pick up your dog prior to estate entry at the ticket or gatehouse, take them for a walk off property while you enjoy the house tour and drop them back off to you when you are finished. 2($60) or 4($110)-hour care visit available on the weekends only. If an extended time period is needed, we can discuss on an individual basis to see if my schedule permits. Oral/ Injections Medications I'm familiar with oral medications. Additionally, I had a diabetic dog and had to administer insulin shots 2x daily. While that was some time ago, I am confident with a refresher conversation (should your pup require shots) I can handle it. Special needs/Senior pups I have experience in caring for older/ senior/special needs pups. Unfortunately, my handsome man passed away last year but he didn't have the use of his back legs and required assistance in going outside. I'm comfortable with handling chest harnesses, wheelchairs etc if necessary. In addition, I have cared for many senior pups and I understand the health issues that come with age and they may not be as mobile as they once were. Please let me know if any such issues exist. I work full-time from home during the week and can offer care on the weekends when I am not on shift at the fire department. I have a farm property with the larger property fenced in but the smaller yard is not fenced in. I do have one dog and she is not friendly with other dogs. However, she is excellent with baby gates (my fiance has a dog and this is how we manage our house. There is never aggression through the gate) and I will always take an extra precaution in separating her from your dog via another room entirely or a baby gate!
About: Please note before considering me: I do not accept any requests for dogs not friendly with other dogs. This is because I have two very friendly/happy pugs and one amazing golden retriever, who will need to participate in any all-day or overnight care I've had dogs my entire life and love all breeds, personalities, shapes, and sizes. I work from home, so they'll be in good hands! Again, your dog will need to be OK around with other dog for any overnight stays. I am flexible with your schedule, detail-oriented, and reliable. About: Animals have always been a big part of my life, I grew up with dogs, cats, pocket pets, birds, horses, chickens, ducks, goats, pigs. I feel like I’ve had it all, I am also a very seasoned Vet tech. I am expierenced with giving animals medication as well. If I am watching a dog I will be sure to make sure they get enough exercise, and any other pets I will make sure they all get love and cuddles! My own pets are super spoiled, and I would treat your pets just like they were my own. I don’t care about breeds, from working in a vets office I do have experience with animals that can sometimes be moody. I sure hope I get to talk to you soon! I do currently work 3 days a week, so pets that will be staying in my home will be taken care of before and after work by me. This way I can work around the needs of your pet. I love cuddling and playing with pets. If it's allowed, I love having them up on the couch with me when I watch a movie, and don't mind them sleeping in my bed at night.

I work a very open schedule, 7-8 AM leaving 8:30AM - 1:15PM open for me to hang out with your furry friends M-F or after 8 PM for their last walk of the night. Weekends are completely flexible! My dog and I go on three walks a day, so I know the neighborhood pretty, I make sure my furry friends always walk by the grass when we walk and walk in the direction of traffic so we see the cars coming. “We had a great experience using Katie and Jeremy to watch our dog. It was obvious that they love animals. They were kind and flexible and so easy to work with. This was our first time leaving our young dog and so we were a bit anxious. As a pup our dog has a lot of energy but he also has some medical conditions involving his back legs/knees which will be corrected this summer with surgery. Navigating these two things can be a challenge but Katie and Jeremy had no difficulty at all - they sent many photos so we could see how well our pup was doing and this immediately put us at ease. They have a lovely property with a fenced in yard and a back porch - our dog was in dogggie- heaven. We were actually a bit worried he wouldn’t want to come home!! LOL!
