“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”

I have always had a dog in my life, from my Childhood pet to my very own prince Charming. Our house is extremely dog friendly, we sit on a little under an acre of fenced in land. The garage is set up with 2 dog doors for their convenience. Inside the house we have built in gates to separate guests if needed. Not all dogs get along... My services include overnight boarding, and walking for now. We have 4 dogs of our own, which are well socialized and love meeting new friends! Onyx, is our lovable Lab middle child. Sassafras is a sweetheart, we were told she is a German Shepard mix. Onyx and Sassafras are the Pack Ambassadors, that Meet and Greet our house guests first. Charlie is an older Pitbull that keeps to herself, and Tucker doesn't know how big he is, and can be a little overwhelming. Additional Fees: Unavailable for a Meet & Greet - $25.00 Unaltered (not spayed or neutered) $45.00 Last Minute Booking (within 4 days of stay) - $75.00 I work for AMK9, a Police & Military Dog training facility in Moyock, NC. When I am away from the house my boyfriend is usually home, so your pups are always being looked after. Occasionally, we do need to run out, but my guests are never alone for very long. When we are gone, everyone is kept separate for safety. I take safety very seriously, for myself, my pups and most importantly your fur babies. I have a large fenced in yard, and the ability to keep pups separated in the event that personalities don't mesh well.

About: Spent my entire life around various types of pets (Cats, Dogs, Reptiles) to include a few exotic animals. I have additionally trained all of my own pets through the years through time and repetition. I love animals and treat them as I would any human. They are after all mans best friend (Doesn't just apply to dogs). I am currently Active Duty Military, however I am available most weekends as well as early morning time frames and later afternoon/evenings. Talk to me about what your needs are and more than likely I can accommodate. I have a decent sized yard with 4 friendly and well trained dogs of my own, if your dog were to be at my house. If Not I have the option to bring one of my furry friends for a play date during a check in or whatever may be required. My dogs range from senior to Junior age group (2 years to 11). Communication is key, you tell me what you need or would like to see and I do what I can to accommodate. Quality care for our friends is what I aim to provide.
About: I have experience working with animals of all breeds/species. I used to work for a boarding/daycare/grooming facility that was also connected to a vets office. I’m familiar with farm animals, dogs, cats, most small pets, and reptiles. I had my own horse for 17 years. Currently I have two German Shepherds who are both 4 years old- so I’m very familiar with working breeds! *I have experience with administering medications and animal first aid* I’m currently a stay at home mom and have full availability. More than likely my son will be with me for drop in visits- but for house sitting, arrangements can be made if necessary! With my two being a working breed we go on a lot of walks, and play a lot of fetch. But they also know how to be couch potatoes! There are times when I am unavailable but I will always have any walks, visits or day cares scheduled accordingly . I have a corgi mix of my own that goes on walks and potty breaks at a regular schedule. I have a fenced yard and a friendly corgi mix to keep any pups company. About: I am a true animal lover. I have a level of empathy for pets that most people think is crazy. Your pet is part of your family and will be part of mine as well. I have a lot of love to give. I am more then happy to accept a million phone calls and texts because I know top care is important. I am patient and understanding and take the time to help with house breaking and learn new tricks. I use to breed Siberian huskies. That is one of the most energetic and mischevious breeds out there. I help with a local rescue in rehoming and donations. I am also actively involved with helping take strays to local vets and following up with owners. My family consists of me, my husband and our five children. There is always someone to give love and attention. We keep our own pets somewhat on a schedule and we play a lot in our back yard. However, if you are a prior client, I will accept your larger dog (they’ve all been wonderful and fine because of my judgement at meet and greet) and in addition any future clients who have a small dog/big dog combo, I will consider a meet and greet to verify we would be a good fit and will make exceptions on a case by case. He comes in for freezing temperatures, over night to sleep, or heat advisories only. He’d rather be outside. All three get along with ALL animals, strays, neighbor’s yorkies’, neighbors dogs, etc. We have two acres of yard with a fenced in area that has a dog house, goat house, tree house, etc. which is where he stays. We are an animal loving family. No young kids that harm or hurt in any way. Your pets are guaranteed a “spoiled rotten” experience for sure. Schedule We are home most of the time. We let the pups run around and play inside. We prefer inside dogs over outside dogs, but will take the dogs outside many, many times to walk, run, and play. Just I inform us of their home habits of how often they like to go out. Safety, trust & environment- I am highly protective over the dogs well being. Safety and emotionally. We use leashes when walking/running your dog and to let them out to use the bathroom. Dogs are fed at separate locations to ensure no jealousy and fights. Not to mention stolen food and a hungry pup. The dogs we sit for sleep in the master bedroom. We sleep with the door shut. This is to ensure we can always have eyes and ears on your pup. No accidents or trouble to get into. They seem to like having the constant company around them, even if we are asleep, they know they’re not alone.
“My husband and I recently moved to the Elizabeth City area and we don't know anyone here. Last minute my husband was able to attend an event with me a few hours away. I quickly scrambled to find someone to sit our furbabies. I messaged Christianna and she quickly got back to me saying she could watch them. About: I’ve taken care of my dog and my aunt’s dog since I was nine. I’m twenty now and both of my fur babies are still kicking, barking, and happy. I’ve always loved animals, even helping to rescue some when I was little such as these two baby ducks and other little birdies and frogs too. In school, my teacher had a pet chameleon and turtle and I always was excited to help feed them. I actually started majoring in Biology at first in college to be a veterinarian or zoologist. I have a different path now to help children but I still have a passion for pets and other beautiful creatures of this Earth. I am a college student as mentioned before so my current schedule is MWF and Tues and Thurs to be free after 11:15 am. However, I do live on campus in Norfolk at ODU so I can take business there as well but mainly for dog walking and pet sitting at your residence. I do rely on my mother, brother or friends for transportation but they are willing to help snd be available as needed. Please give me a chance and you won’t regret it. :) I make sure the pets first get to know me, smell me, and recognize me to be comfortable with me. Then, I interact with them more by playing with them and giving them rubs and cuddles so they can feel more connected and comfortable. Then, definitely make sure they eat and drink the right food for their health and nourishment. Then, walk them so they can do their business and get exercise and always make sure they have a leash on. Next, make sure they are groomed and cleaned well and freshen up from the outdoors. Then spend more time with them until our fun is over and they are returned with their beloved owners. I will have a whole day well planned and you and your fur babies will appreciate it. :)

Akemi has been fantastic about entertaining my dog, so she isn't so sad while also creating such a loving and positive environment for my dog that my dog now adores her too! She was able to quickly bond with my dog making it so my dog and I both feel comfortable leaving her with Akemi. About: I am a true animal lover. I have a level of empathy for pets that most people think is crazy. Your pet is part of your family and will be part of mine as well. I have a lot of love to give. I am more then happy to accept a million phone calls and texts because I know top care is important. I am patient and understanding and take the time to help with house breaking and learn new tricks. I use to breed Siberian huskies. That is one of the most energetic and mischevious breeds out there. I help with a local rescue in rehoming and donations. All three get along with ALL animals, strays, neighbor’s yorkies’, neighbors dogs, etc. We have two acres of yard with a fenced in area that has a dog house, goat house, tree house, etc. which is where he stays. We are an animal loving family. No young kids that harm or hurt in any way. Your pets are guaranteed a “spoiled rotten” experience for sure. Schedule We are home most of the time. We let the pups run around and play inside. We prefer inside dogs over outside dogs, but will take the dogs outside many, many times to walk, run, and play. Just I inform us of their home habits of how often they like to go out. Safety, trust & environment- I am highly protective over the dogs well being. Safety and emotionally. We use leashes when walking/running your dog and to let them out to use the bathroom. Dogs are fed at separate locations to ensure no jealousy and fights. Not to mention stolen food and a hungry pup. The dogs we sit for sleep in the master bedroom. We sleep with the door shut. This is to ensure we can always have eyes and ears on your pup. No accidents or trouble to get into. They seem to like having the constant company around them, even if we are asleep, they know they’re not alone.

I have some experience in dog training as I trained my Labrador Retriever as a puppy in doggie obedience school. My Lab is now currently a senior doggie. We breed and raise pedigreed Mini Rex, and pedigreed Netherland Dwarf bunnies for showing and pets. About: I have worked at a veterinary office for the past 9 years as a kennel tech and a veterinary assistant. I adore all animals and have tons of experience with them. I have animals of my own but always love getting to spend time with others and getting to know others. About: Caring for and loving dogs has always been a passion of mine! I have a relaxed and jovial demeanor that they seem to gravitate to. Tell me their routine while at home with you and I will do my best to ensure it stays the same when in my care. We have a large fenced yard with shade in a small and quiet subdivision. Our home is two story so plenty of room for playing and naps. If they do not care stairs, I will ensure stay on the main floor. Our neighborhood is perfect for walks. I have crates if they are crate trained and you prefer that, but that is not necessary unless that is your preference. Being on the furniture or bed in our home is fine with me too. I give extra special attention if they are nervous for any reason such as thunderstorms, loud noises (such as fireworks on a holiday). I am very attentive and adapt to small things such as if they just don't like going out in the rain. I always send daily updates including photos, videos & text throughout their stay.

“This was our first time leaving our little Golden doodle with Samantha. I will say, I was a bit intimidated by leaving him with a pit bull there, but upon meeting the pit bull he was the sweetest big dog ever. My worries immediately vanished! There were a couple other dogs there, so that was nice. There was one dog a bit too interested in my little guy, so I didn’t want to leave until he calmed down. Samantha never made me feel rushed to leave or weird. She was super patient and asking me if I wanted the dogs split up, or inside or outside. I really thought that said a lot about the person I was leaving our baby with and I really liked that. I say all that to say, you can’t always control how dogs will interact with each other, but you can control how you react to them and Samantha was very calm, kind and friendly. She never looked overwhelmed or nervous. She was a bit embarrassed I think because of the initial behavior of this other dog she was caring for, but I understood that wasn’t a reflection of her care. We left out little guy there 3 days and she communicated through the day with updates, sent photos and even went the extra step of boiling and egg to mix it with my dogs food since we do that for him at home too. I’m thankful we found someone to watch our guy for when we need it! Highly recommend! 10 out of 10!”
