Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family. My current dog Ron has some special care needs which has taught me to be patient and sensitive to pups who need a little extra care and attention. I would love to welcome your furry buddy into our home and would treat them like another member of the family. I currently work from home so am able to give your pup lots of attention and exercise. I also am a very active person and love to frequent the local trails if that is something you would like for your pup. I have a fenced front and back yard and a dog door that can be locked if need be. I have multiple dog beds and also allow dogs on the furniture (I of course will not allow it if it’s a behavior you don’t want your dog to learn). About: My own dog, Trixie, has been my family for 10 years. When my brother's cat was sick and elderly, I was able to transport her to vet appointments and help her follow a special diet. When in my care, my friend's dog received glaucoma medication and he travelled safely with us. I have extreme flexibility on Fridays, and can make stops on the way home from Drummond to Missoula since I commute Monday through Thursday evenings. My own dog used to be high energy so I definitely understand the need to get dogs out of the house during the day :)

About: I’m great with animals, I’ve had a family dog since I was 12 and my own pup for the past 2 years. I was working with a dog trainer for 8 months which taught me so much about dogs and their body language and behavior, I’ve also stayed well versed on current dog training literature. I have a 1.5 year old dog now who’s great with all animals and for the past few years I have been watching my friends dogs, specifically a Chesapeake Retriever and large brown cute mix. I have known cars closely for the last 8 years of my life or so. I worked in an office with 3 cats for several years, have lived on a farm with multiple cats and my partner has a sweet male cat. I currently work from home part time with a pretty flexible schedule. I am able to walk my dog multiple times a day, let the ‘em out frequently and always have an eye on them in between those moments. Your pet will be watched and loved with me. I love to house sit and as long as I can bring my very house trained pup to your home and you have an Ethernet cord, I am able to stay for as long as you need. I have a very gentle footing when I stay in others’ homes as well, other than your pet being taken care of, you wouldn’t even know I was there. I work from home during the day, u have access to a fenced in yard and my dog gets walked at a minimum 3 times per day plus I usually take her for a hike or jog at least every other day. My dog is off-leash trained which makes hiking easy but we can discuss what you are comfortable with for your dog. If I’m house sitting at your house, I would walk your dog 2-3 time/ day and take them on a hike most likely. I would use your dog as much as I see fit and really, I would discuss with you how you want me to care for your pet and go from there. I have a good intuition though and now I can take care and love your pet.

About: I am a full-time journalist who loves to get out on the weekends! I’m originally from Alaska and spend every opportunity I can getting outside with my 15-year-old border collie. I work from home and stay with the animals all day. We wake up early for potty breaks first thing in the morning. Dogs are allowed on the furniture for ultimate snuggles! I have a fenced yard with plenty of animal friends to keep your pet occupied and comfortable. The house is also large enough that if your animal needs space, we can cordon off an area for them to have peace and quiet.

About: Our beloved cockapoo passed away at 16 1/2 years in October. She was a big part of our family and we miss having a dog in the house! I’m currently not working and am very flexible! About: I’ve taken care of my neighbor’s two dogs while they were away for 4/5 years and friends and family have relied on me to take care of their pets. Hey there! Full availability for pet sitting as of now. If you need hours outside of my availability just contact me and let me know and I’ll be happy to make arrangements for you. I have lots of experience with different types of dogs and some cats. I make sure that they get love and affection, are given food at their respected times, and get tons of exercise and or walks.

“Leah treated my dog Boo like a king. I couldn't have been happier about his stay with her, and neither could Boo. Leah's a great communicator-I received daily feedback of what they were doing, where they went, and reports on his behavior, how he got along with her dogs, and pictures(!). She has 2 dogs that were super playful and sweet with Boo. Leah was very careful to introduce our dogs first, which clued me in to how responsible and caring she is. While Boo was there, not only did he get to play in her yard and cuddle on the couch with her (um, he's 65 lbs and growing), she also took him on outings-including the dog island! About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family. My current dog Ron has some special care needs which has taught me to be patient and sensitive to pups who need a little extra care and attention. I would love to welcome your furry buddy into our home and would treat them like another member of the family. I currently work from home so am able to give your pup lots of attention and exercise. I also am a very active person and love to frequent the local trails if that is something you would like for your pup. I have a fenced front and back yard and a dog door that can be locked if need be. I have multiple dog beds and also allow dogs on the furniture (I of course will not allow it if it’s a behavior you don’t want your dog to learn). Like I said, I consider them to be part of the family.
