Our home has lots of room for dogs to run and a pond in the backyard for those swimming dogs. I've been dog sitting for friends and family for years and have had dogs my whole life. I love playing tug of war, cuddling on the couch, walking, and practicing tricks. I have a 10 year old kid who is also smitten with dogs of all sizes so if you are planning to board a dog she will be overjoyed to give your pup lots of attention! Between my husband (works from home) and I (hybrid), there is always someone at the house. We can let dogs out when they need outside time and have no commute to be able to play over lunch and after work. I like to take the dogs on a walk in the evening and my regular route is 3.8 miles. We wall more/less depending on the dog/weather. I have a large yard for supervised running around and a pond for those dogs that love to swim. I have a smaller fenced yard to let pups out for a quick potty break. Our two dogs are pretty lucky getting free range of the house but I can also crate your dog

About: I have been caring for animals since pet sitting for my aunt and uncle’s 3 rowdy dogs as a teen, sometimes up to a month when they went on long trips. I also have cared for dogs of my own for most of my adult life and consider them to be members of the family. My current dog Ron has some special care needs which has taught me to be patient and sensitive to pups who need a little extra care and attention. I've loved and cared for many pets of my own - dogs, cats, ferrets, small animals, reptiles, birds, and fish - which has given me hands-on experience with everything from syringe feeding to crate, house, and litter box training to medical and senior care. My entire home is open to pups (human beds and furniture), but will adhere to any rules you have in your home. My neighborhood has a lot of kids and other dogs around, as well as large common areas for running around. Can administer medication via treats or orally. My schedule is very flexible so I am able to care for pets any time of day! I usually work later in the pm but it’s not usually an issue because I don’t work very often! I care for pets as if they were my own, always prioritizing their safety, comfort, and routine. In my home, pets enjoy a calm, clean environment with plenty of supervision, regular potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and affection. I follow each pet’s normal schedule for meals, walks, medication, and rest to help them feel at ease. About: I love animals, they bring a special joy to life that no other can. I have experience with all sorts of animals from large dogs to small rodents and birds. In 2025 I lost my senior dog who lived to be 16! He needed special care for the last few years of life so I am no stranger to strict and detailed care and grooming.
