Did the internship for a couple of months then got a job taking care of the dogs in the kennel for boarding. I did that for about 3 1/2 years. I also have two dogs of my own! I make sure my days stay as flexible as they can be so we all get through them as a team and are still laughing at the end of it. With that being said as I am available to board a senior dog or special needs dog but I wouldn't prefer to have one at doggy day care on a regular basis until Max is older and has more training. I have a huge fenced in yard and lots of toys to play with. Max loves it out there and we have a little pool and a doggy house.
