“I can’t say enough good things about Chelsea! We are new to Eureka Springs and were so worried about leaving our babies with someone new. We liked Chelsea immediately and our shy orange boy also walked right up to her during the meet and greet which is always a good sign. While we were gone (10 days out of the country), Chelsea was so loving with our cats and provided thoughtful updates with photos and helpful info. After they first visit and update we were completely at ease for the rest of our trip and our super shy girl who I mentioned might never come out even came out for pets by the last couple of visits. About: I’ve groomed dogs for over eight years and I’ve boarded dogs throughout my life for my Neighbors when they go out of town. About: I've been dog sitting since I was a teen. I love dogs, my Hans is my first Baby, he unfortunately passed away with cancer at the age of 6. We were blessed to adopt his sister (his mom's last litter around 4 years ago) Piper. Piper is very sweet and tender. I run about 4 miles a day. And I walk with my son, Hakan who loves dogs, about 2 times a day. Safe area, plenty of room to run and play. Your fur baby will spend all day with me, my little boy and our 4 year old, ultra sweet border collie, piper If needed, we have a dog crate for sleeping in, but your dog is welcome to sleep in whatever arrangement he or she is used to. They even had a down day the next day! I was out of town and my husband had all day commitments both days. It was such a relief to have Laura take our pups instead of keeping them kenneled at home. It was the first visit for one of our dogs, and she loved it just as much as our other two who have stayed with Laura several times. We are very lucky to have Laura and Nash to keep our pups safe and happy!”
About: I worked as a dog walker and sitter for 3 years and had my own dog for 16. I’m comfortable with different temperaments, follow routines closely, and pay attention to behavior so things stay consistent and dogs feel settled. I work from home full-time, so I’m around throughout the day. I do teach yoga a few times a week, which takes me away for 2–3 hours at a time. Otherwise, I’m home and present with the dog. I’m in a single-family home with a large (partially fenced) backyard, though I prefer getting dogs out on walks rather than relying on the yard. I live near the Bentonville trails and greenway, so that’s where we go for longer walks - usually in search of the best sniffing spots. No other pets or children in the home. It’s a quiet, non-smoking space. Windows are usually open for fresh air, and there’s a big floor-to-ceiling window where dogs can hang out and watch the calm, quiet street. About: I have experience caring for my long haired chihuahua. I have previous experience of care of two coon dogs and I also learned about equestrian horse care for a few years. Always open and eager to care and learn about animal needs!! I am a part time student with open availability mainly during M-F! I have a lot of free time currently to give to pet care and can communicate any schedule needs. The pets in my home live a structured, comfortable, carefree life. Fed on a certain schedule, cared and walked on a certain schedule as well. Crates, toys, treats and bedding always provided.
About: I’m a Mexican-American professional that works in Joplin, MO, but I frequent NWA area for leisure activities. I could help with basic training. Also willing to learn more training skills to help you at home. I’ve had multiple pets growing up including dogs, birds, hamsters, fish, and even hermit crabs over the years. I have a female cat of my own. Had her since she was a kitten, she was a stray and got her shots as soon as we were able too. I would greatly enjoy taking care of your pets! I know pets help reduce stress and anxiety and are very important companions for families big or small. I will do my best to treat your pets as if they were my own and give them all the love, respect, and care they deserve. I work part time in Joplin and am open about my work schedule and let you know when I would arrive at your house to care for your pet. If you agree with those times then I’ll book. I have an indoor/outdoor cat. I have a very big yard but it’s not fenced off. The neighborhood is quite and small. I have the option of walking them for long or short periods.
About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.
About: I own dogs, cats, and horses of my own. I've helped over 200 fosters or rescues in our home, many of which had medical issues. I've dealt with most problems that could come up with sitting! I also use Rover for my own pets, so I try to do everything that I would want a sitter to do for me!
