About: I’ve grown up around animals of all kinds, including dogs, cats, rabbits, rats, pigs, sheep, and cows, so caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have a dog named Sharon, whom I originally fostered along with her five puppies for eight weeks - an experience that gave me plenty of hands on experience caring for puppies and dogs with different needs and personalities. My schedule is wide open from late May through mid-August, meaning I am home throughout the day to provide frequent potty breaks, backyard playtime, and plenty of companionship. About: I’m extremely patient and so loving! At college I’m not able to have dogs and sometimes I’m between foster cats so I start missing animals. I know how treasured and important they are to us and I will always show them love when you’re gone! I’m taking four classes from home this summer so I’m super flexible time wise. I can take a break from the work to come walk, or if I’m dog sitting I can do the work while being in their presence! I will only be caring for pets at your homes, but I take the time to make sure they feel safe and loved before walking them or before letting them out! About: I have had pets all my life, 5 dogs, rabbits, chickens, birds, hamsters and more. Neighbors, Friend and family ask me to house sit, play, feed and walk their non-human family members all the time. If I can make connection in my community through Rover too… why not? I work remotely during the day from 11am-7:30pm. I am free during the mornings and after shift with time for breaks, and am available to house sit full time if you’d like your animals to stay in their familiar space and to not be alone. Please note, for me to full time home sit your fur babies and work, WiFi is required in your home, and a meet and greet. I can come to your home, walk or play with your furry family. I am also able to house sit full time if you’d like your dog to be in a familiar space.

This offers your pups a secure, private environment where they can run, play, and explore safely—a rare find in many parts of the city! While I am currently a "cat dad" to my 8-year-old resident cat, I have been a lifelong dog owner. From my earliest childhood memories until earlier this year, dogs have always been a central part of my home and heart. This lifelong experience means I am deeply familiar with canine behavior, exercise needs, and the unique companionship they provide. I am an expert at managed, slow introductions to ensure that my senior cat and your pups coexist peacefully and safely. Daily Care: As a high school science teacher, I am currently on summer break and have transitioned into "full-time pet care" mode! My schedule is wide open from late May through mid-August, meaning I am home throughout the day to provide frequent potty breaks, backyard playtime, and plenty of companionship. Weekly Availability: I offer a rotating schedule for boarding. My calendar is always kept up-to-date, so you can easily see which days I am open for overnight stays or daycare only. Consistency: Because I am not balancing an office job during the summer, I can strictly adhere to whatever feeding, medication, or exercise schedule your pet requires. I pay close attention to details—from a dog’s body language and energy levels to their specific feeding and medication schedules. My goal is to create a predictable, low-stress environment where your pet feels like a member of the family. I have a fully (6 foot tall) fenced-in backyard where dogs can play safely. I always supervise yard time to ensure no "great escapes" or unwanted digging. I also always clean up after bathroom breaks in my yard. I use baby gates and separate "safe zones" to ensure my cat and your pups coexist peacefully. I worked for a vet clinic many years ago but still remember some emergency techniques. I can send daily photos and keep your vet's information at hand. It's also good for me to know more about your pet as in: Does your pet have any "triggers" (squirrels, mailmen, other dogs)? Are there any "off-limits" pieces of furniture or rooms? What is their favorite way to be comforted if they get homesick? Etc.
