I needed last minute care due to a medical emergency, and she not only accommodated my need with less than 18 hours notice, but she did so with a level of care for my kitties that I have never experienced before. Within 15 minutes of her arrival, I had photos and videos of all of my babies (which is no small feat in itself), and she continued to provide multiple updates, photos, and videos. She was so so so loving and gentle with my kitties, stayed with them all day and overnight, and gave me the comfort and reassurance I was desperately needing. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. I’ve taken care of old cats and dogs, and I when they are old like that it’s important to meet their needs first, as most of the time they need a lot of guidance and help.
