“I hit the jackpot on Rover! Laurie was wonderful! This was my first time using Rover, and my first time leaving my cats alone for a few days since I adopted them. Lori was so helpful and reassuring! She came over to my house before I left to meet the cats. While I was gone, she was always on time for drop ins, played with the cats, and sent me multiple pictures. My cats were in great hands and I highly recommend Laurie and can’t wait to book with her again.”

“Misti took care of my two cats twice a day for two weeks. She did everything I asked and sent extra notes and pics at each visit. She is a great communicator! Misti even got my shy cat, Paris, into a great routine early on and was able to pet her by the end of the two weeks. I called Misti the cat whisperer for her ability to win Paris over. The house was perfect and cats were happy when we returned home. I will definitely call upon Misti for pet care in the future!”

“Megan did a great job looking after our cats! She was patient with our more shy cat and made friends with our more outgoing cat. She left great notes and pictures during the visits.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better, Pet Sitter! Leaving my cat while I was on vacation is never easy but from the moment I met Theresa, I knew they were in excellent hands. She is attentive, reliable, and genuinely caring. She really took the time to get to know my cats, so they were comfortable around her. And I was so thankful she was able and willing to give insulin injections to my diabetic cat. I especially appreciated the regular updates, photos, and little notes about how each visit went. It gave me so much peace of mind. It’s such a relief to find someone who treats your pets like their own. I would absolutely trust Theresa again without hesitation and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a responsible, compassionate, and top-notch Pet Sitter!”

“Paola was wonderful to my babies and always made the extra effort. She was on time and spent the entire hour with my babies and I truly appreciate that. She sent me photos, I missed them so much its my first time away from my kitten the pictures were so appreciated. Thanks so much Paola and if I go out of town again im going to be hoping to have you watch them! 🫶🏼”

“Riley is the sweetest! Great at communicating and very thorough and sweet. Provided great updates for our sweet cat throughout the weekend. Will definitely reach out again for cat sitting!”

About: I've always been extremely cat oriented. I have researched about cats in my free time since I was young, learning about their traits, emotions and behaviors. I have fostered cats and kittens, help elderly cats cross the rainbow bridge by being their last care taker and even learned about feline diabetes, from a previous cat I owened who passed away in 2023. I would love to help you and your cat feel more loved an appreciated with my service.
“Virginia was great with my cat for a week! I was a little nervous about leaving her for the first time, but she sent daily pics and updates which really eased my nerves! Would definitely book again!”

“Erin takes great care of my dog Buddy, she sends me a lot of good pictures of my dog when she visits. In all the pictures she sends, you can just see in his face how much joy he has being around her and I think that’s a pretty good indicator of the quality pet sitter she is!”

“Emma stayed with my cat Patrick for a week while I was in another state for work. Patrick needs some special attention and takes daily medication. She did a great job making sure he was taking care of and comfortable! Additionally, she communicated with me well and made sure to send me some pictures every day!”

“Cheyanne was a wonderful house sitter to my two cats! She started by staying the night to help transition my anxious cat into my extended vacation followed by extended (multiple times per day) drop-ins. After our meet-and-greet I felt very aligned on goals and expectations (active play time, when she'd be at the house, all the treats they want while we're gone, etc) and was comfortable booking. Cheyanne's communication exceeded any I've had with other Rover sitters! Throughout the stay she sent photos, video clips, and written updates (each time she visited! no waiting for the daily Rover cards even!) that really made me feel happy for my cats and let me relax during my vacation. They received all the attention, play, and treats I was hoping they'd get. I've already re-booked with her!”

“Laura was fantastic. She provided daily updates with notes and pictures of our furbabies, which kept us well-informed. While she stayed with our pets, the house was also well-maintained, tidy, and clean. We would definitely book Laura again for future stays with our furbabies.”

“I appreciated Dennis looking after my cat while I was away for a week. He came over for a meet and great before I went out of town and communicated very well. I would recommend Dennis and will hire him again if I can.”

“Billie Jo was so great!! Stopped by before the visits to meet our cat and get the lay of the land. She sent pics at every visit and even brought some packages in from the porch. So great to know our kitty was well taken care of while we were away!”

About: I really enjoy getting to know each cat’s personality—whether they’re shy and like to observe from a distance or full-on cuddle bugs who want attention right away. I try to meet them where they’re at, giving them space when they need it and affection when they’re ready so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I’m also comfortable with the more practical side of cat care, like giving medications when needed and following detailed instructions so everything stays consistent with their normal routine. And yes—I don’t mind litter boxes at all. I actually make it a point to keep them very clean and fresh because I know how much cats appreciate that. Most of all, I treat every cat like a little individual with their own quirks and preferences, and I do my best to make their time with me calm, familiar, and stress-free.

About: I work from home so I have lots of time to dedicate to the pets I care for. I have three dogs all of which are friendly and used to having new friends come to stay as we have done rescue, foster, pet sitting for years. I love to meet new furry kids. I know how important it is to me that my fur babies are taken care of and are happy and comfortable when I have to travel. I want to be able to make other pet lovers feel comfortable to travel and know their pets are getting the same fantastic care as when they are home. I was a vet tech for 15 years so am qualified to make sure fur babies are healthy and happy while they are with me. As an added bonus I live 5 minutes from the airport so easy access for drop off and pick up on your way in and out of town
About: *I’m returning to Rover after a long break* Accepting New Clients My love for animals began early and my desire to have them as a part of my family was natural. I learned quickly that my pets preferred to be in the comfort of a home when I was away, where they could enjoy the luxuries of their favorite beds, outside backyard play and one on one attention. This is what lead to the development of The KC Pet Nanny. I found in 2004, when I was traveling, there were few acceptable options for my beloved furry kids aside from an expensive, cold kennels that were far from the home environment they appreciated & came to expect. How could I travel knowing my pets were not the happiest they could be? I couldn't. I set out to make dog sitting an option for everyone, even those within the animal rescue community which I am a proud part of. Each pet parent gets "Nanny Notes" detailing their dogs stay along with photos. *Subscriber to RelaxMyDog . com* I’m a retired Social Worker and I’m home most days. I also have a collage age daughter. I offer time outside to exercise and potty. We have socialization time inside. Most days, weather permitting, they are have the option of outside time every 2-3 hours, Our home environment is stable and harmonious. We have fun, we relax, we thrive. Whether it’s backyard play in a secured fence or indoor recess, safety is a priority.

We will be home full time! Let us help with your fur baby! I have a fenced in yard and a basement if the animal needs space. We will take the dogs out regularly. They will be safe and loved here.

I’ve personally owned and cared for dogs, cats, birds, turtles, you name it, so I’m comfortable with just about any animal you bring my way. I have a large fenced backyard, a clean and pet-friendly home, and a very playful environment. Every stay includes treats, toys, and whatever adventures we can get into. I also have three dogs of my own — a Beagle, a Chihuahua, and a Shar-Pei — so your pet will always have company and will feel right at home within minutes. Your pet will be in good hands — I take it seriously and genuinely enjoy it. I have one of my own that’s stays in a consistent schedule and never forgotten or goes without attention (constant potty breaks included) , have all the free time in the word and have years on years of experience with all pets massive and small obedient or not, your pet will be looked after enjoy the time an my little fur baby loves to keep them company wherever they decide to adventure I have a big gated backyard plenty but enough for multiple dogs to do their own thing including my own free range to sleep jump and lay on furniture including beds and free range to the entire house and back yard,Very used to medicating if needed, crating, training, all an etc whatever special treatment they may need I’ve delt with it all and nothing to difficult to stay or keep up on if needed

“Theresa has been absolutely amazing! She is so kind and adaptable to my dog and his various levels of chaos for his twice weekly walks. She is punctual, spends an adequate amount of time with him, and always very loving. She has been the perfect addition to his routine. I get lots of photos and she lets me know how he did each time she picks him up. I am excited to continue working with her while I am still in school.”

About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I work from home so I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.

“Natalie does a phenomenal job taking care of my dog. She is caring and attentive and always takes her on long walks! She communicates well, is kind, and easy to work with. I know my dog loves her and trusts her. We will keep her around as long as we can!”

About: I treat every pet like they’re my own, taking the time to learn their little quirks, routines, and what makes them happiest. Whether your pet loves nonstop play or just wants a cozy place to relax, I make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for the whole time you’re away. I have experience with both energetic puppies and sweet senior pets. I can help reinforce basic training for puppies—like potty habits and leash manners—and I’m patient and gentle with older pets who may need a slower pace, extra attention, or medication support. I’ll also keep you in the loop with regular updates and photos, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy, loved, and in good hands. Pet care is something I genuinely enjoy, so I naturally build it into my day rather than trying to squeeze it in. I like having a flexible routine that lets me give each pet real attention instead of rushing in and out. Most days, I plan around morning and evening visits when pets are usually most active or need their routine care. That might mean feeding, fresh water, litter box cleanup, potty breaks, or just spending a little time playing or keeping them company so they don’t feel lonely. I also like checking in with owners so they feel connected and reassured while they’re away. On a weekly basis, I organize my schedule so I can be consistent and dependable for each pet I’m caring for. I make sure there’s enough space in my routine to show up on time, follow instructions closely, and give every animal the same level of care and attention. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, walk routines, medication needs, and any specific house rules—so your pet feels secure in their familiar environment. I also make sure doors, gates, and any escape risks are always checked and secured before and after each visit. I take time to build trust with each pet at their own pace, especially shy or anxious animals. I approach calmly, respect their boundaries, and let them come to me when they’re ready. For more energetic pets, I make sure they get safe, positive outlets for play and exercise.
“Kyle has been great! He has great energy and our pups love him. He has great communication. He's punctual, he's flexible, and he has pockets full of treats. He has even been working with our baby to stop her from pulling on walks. I am so happy to have found him.”

About: *Please make sure your profile is accurate. I cannot accommodate pets that don’t get along with other animals.** I’ve had dogs my entire life and until recently was working at a vet clinic. I love animals and look forward to being able to help you with your fur babies! I have a very flexible schedule. I am available early mornings, mid-day/afternoon and late. I am open to long term or short term needs. Please make sure that your pet is dog friendly. Thanks!! ❤️ I do have a dog, Lola, who is very social and has yet to meet a dog she doesn’t want to play! I do live on the second floor so dogs will need to be able to go up and down stairs. I work remotely and can accommodate most schedules. I am able to walk early mornings, mid day and any time in the evenings as needed. I am able to walk as often as needed. Pets are treated like family and allowed on furniture as lomf as they aren’t chewers and pretty much have free range.

About: I have always had a love for all kinds of animals. Ive enjoyed watching family and friends pets as well as caring for my own pets in my apartment. I'd love to get to know you and your unique pet and make them feel even more loved and appreciated. I have past background knowledge on pet nutrition, hygiene and behavior traits. I am currently starting school in March to gain my pharmacy technician certification, I would have open availability to provide assistance for you and your pets. I do have a dog with me, her name is Maze. Maze is a rescue, she stays in my room and going on walks multiple times a day as well as dog parks, she would love to have a friend. Maze eats 2 times a day once in the morning and once in the evening with a snack (can of tuna/shredded chicken) in the afternoon. Maze talks walks in a harness to provide safely,we do have an extra! I have cats as well, the are allowed to freely roam around with little latches that keep bedroom doors open just enough for them to go in and out, they are also fed twice a day with wet food and have dry kibble out for free feeding through the day, since they have smaller stomachs they eat more frequently, howver the dry food is only filled once it runs out completely, the cats also have a running water fountain as well as other water bowls on elevated surfaces. Their are plenty of pet beds, toys and treats, if their are any allergies please let me know!

About: As an Australian Shepherd owner, I understand the needs of high-energy dogs. I’ve also used Rover for my own dog, which taught me exactly what i do and don’t want for a pet sitter. Because of that, I make it a priority to provide the kind of care that I would want for my own dog. My goal is to make your pet feel loved, comfortable, and well-exercised while you’re away. I’ll provide plenty of playtime, attention, and photo updates so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands. 🥰 I’m currently studying online to get my teaching certificate, so I’ll have plenty of time to care for your animals at whatever time you would prefer! I am available 7 days a week as i can study whenever and wherever. :) I am unable to host pets in my home, but I am happy to care for them in theirs! As a pet owner myself, I know every animal has their own routine and preferences. When I leave my own fur baby, I’m definitely the person who leaves a detailed list of instructions. If that’s you, I promise to follow them carefully and make sure your pet receives the same level of care and attention they’re used to. If you’re more laid-back, that’s perfectly fine too! My goal is to keep your pet safe, comfortable, and happy while you’re away.
“Cheyenne is an excellent pet sitter. She is nice, responsive, and professional. I needed a reliable person to take my dog out while I work, and Cheyanne was the answer! You can tell she loves animals and will treat your fur baby as her own. My dog had a small abrasion on his nose and she cared enough to inform me. Thanks to her, I can stop worrying about moving my work schedule around his bathroom break.”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: Hi! I’m Casey and I have three dogs and three cats. I would love to help you care for your animals! I’ve gone through obedience training with each of my own dogs and love incorporating it into walks. I’m a substitute teacher and love spending my time walking dogs. I usually choose to sub a couple days a week and walk or do drop ins the other days! When walking dogs I make sure to check the weather and watch the pups body language. I also know walking on a leash can be difficult for some dogs and I have worked with my own dogs on pulling and reactivity.
About: I have 3 dogs of my own and have been caring for dogs for over 10 years. I have experience at a dog boarding/daycare facility as well as boarding in my own home. I am currently unavailable on weekends but, I can care for your fur babies during the week before and after work! Monday-Friday 6a-8a and 2:30p-9p I do walks and drop in visits. Please let me know if I can bring treats! (and any allergies) I am comfortable walking 2-3 dogs at a time if you are a multi-dog household. If boarding, I have a fenced in back yard and a dog door that I open/close as needed. I have 3 dogs to keep yours company and to play with for their stay.
“Heather works great with Rascal. Rascal recently had leash training and Heather works with him when she takes him out for his walk. Rascal is so good excited to see Heather when she comes.”

“Hannah always does a great job for my two babies. She is very quick to respond and easy to work with. I’ve used her a few times and continue to! Her experience working at a vet clinic makes me feel more comfortable. She always sends pictures and I know my dogs love when she comes around”

It was a last minute request and she answered and coordinated with me quickly and efficiently. She’s friendly, professional and close to the airport. Would definitely recommend boarding with Samantha!”

“We had a definite need for a reliable sitter who could take our 3 cats into her home, medicate two of them including with injections for insulin and other meds for an extended period of time (nearly two weeks), and Chigorzirim provided that to us. Because of the sensitivity of our cats, we also appreciated that she only accepts one client at a time as she describes. She followed through the schedule that I prepared for when to medicate 2 of our 3 cats as needed, and we appreciated her time on keeping us informed and sent along pictures. We are planning some future travel later this year and would look to her to help us with our cats.”

“Our pup was well taken care of while he stayed with Lori! We loved getting the daily photos of our dog and always felt like our dog was loved and happy. Lori was easy-going and open to my instructions for the pup. Elwood and one other dog were guests to Lori and her two small dogs - I could tell that my dog loved being with other dogs. We picked up our dog this afternoon and he didn't want to leave! Thank you Lori for taking such good care of Elwood!”

“We have used so many dog sitters over the years and Rhonda was the absolute best! She gave our dog so much attention. She sent us videos and pictures showing us he was having the time of his life! She has a huge backyard that he loved to run around in. I will definitely use her again and recommend her to anyone looking for a safe and fun place for their pup to stay!”

“Kirsten was great and treated my dog like her own during her stay with her family! She provided frequent updates and was so caring. My dog came home happy, clean and tired from playing with her two doodles all week!”

“Dominic and his team at home took great care of Maddie. She came home worn out from all the playing with the other dogs. They have a great yard for outdoor playtime and plenty of beds all around (and a lap or two).”
