“Ellie was BEYOND AMAZING. I've never left my dog (baby) with ANYONE other than close friends or family, and i'm very anxiously attached to her. I was very very nervous leading up to my trip, but the second my boyfriend and I met Ellie, we felt 10000 times better. She sent me so many photos, and kept me up to date on everything. The photos really made me feel more comfortable during the trip, I could tell she was very happy and comfortable. Also, anytime we leave Baby she almost always skips her lunch. Baby was eating both meals every single day which was a huge sign to me that Ellie made her comfortable and at home. I would recommend Ellie to everyone!! If you have any hesitations, set up a meet and greet and you will feel at ease the second you meet her. I can't thank Ellie enough, I was worried I wasn't going to be able to enjoy my vacation due to my worries but I wasn't worried for one second while I was away. 1,000/10, will be using Ellie in the future <3”

About: I've had dogs and cats my whole life with different needs and personalities, I've also had family and friends come to me to take care of there pets. I'm currently working part time at a jackson animal clinic, i work 5-6 hours a day about 4 days a week. My schedule changes every week. I have a fenced in yard with two cats that are very friendly. Trust i will have full attention to your pet and make sure their needs are met.

About: During the school year, I have the ability to drop-in before 6:30am and after 3:00pm (4:00pm on Wednesdays). I enjoy interacting with cats at their level of comfort. I will spend time playing with cats using their favorite toys. I love giving cats attention through lots of cuddles, pets, and chin scratches. I’ve owned shy cats before, and I understand their need to hide around new people. I will try to coax them out of hiding through treats, toys, and calls, but I will also respect their desire to hide. I will send pictures of your cats while you’re away to help you feel relaxed and confident in their care. I have had senior cats in the past, so I feel comfortable administering medication and taking care of senior cat needs. I am able to scoop litter boxes and will clean up hairballs, as needed. If cats need to be brushed, I can do that, as well.

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)

About: I’ve had dogs from a young age. Staying with me, they will get attention, love, play time and cuddles. They will also get to play with my dog Lexi. I work from home full time so I’m always here. I’m able to go outside and play with your pups or give them extra attention. I have a fenced in yard with locks on my gates. I have a doggie door and the back door is always open. I have a 5 year old pup that is very calming and caring. She has been great with other dogs. She is very nurturing and always makes sure those in her space are safe. I have a couple of stories I can provide about her. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. About: I’ve kept and rescued animals since a young age, which included tending to any wounds or injuries. My own pets were fosters, and most recently I fostered a lovely pittie who was then adopted. I’m very good with skittish cats, and I have a good understanding of basic dog training techniques. Lastly, I live a street away from a nice park which is good for dog walks. I love all animals, and spending time with them and caring for them is just as good for me as it is for them. I am currently self employed and jobs are few, so I have a very flexible schedule. Most, if not all my time would be dedicated to any pets in my care. I do have two of my own cats, so any dogs would have to be okay with cats in the house. About: I have never lived a day my 34 years without at least one pet to my name, usually dogs and cats. I have taken care of dogs and cats through every stage of life -- from delivering puppies to training competitive hunting dogs and providing palliative care for aging pets. I have a medical background and am comfortable with basic medical care. I work at home and am generally home the entire day. I have total flexibility over my schedule so it's easy for me to adjust to last-minute changes. I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment in a very animal-friendly complex with plenty of residential streets and parks for long walks and fun. About: I have taken care of all sorts of dogs through the years and find joy in going for walks around the neighborhood and playing and meeting every single dog I see. I work full time, 3 12 hour shifts a week and my other 4 days I love having something to do whether that is going on walks, popping in to make sure dogs have everything they need and having potty breaks. During drop ins or walks I like to follow the owners instructions carefully so that each pet can maintain their normal routines and reduce stress. I make sure each pet has water, any food they need, toys if able, exercise, and attention. With walks I stay very mindful of potential dangers or triggers to avoid any unwanted situations and pay attention to any sins of overheating, exhaustion or discomfort. During drop ins if a pet uses a crate I always make sure it’s locked and checked before leaving as well as leaving the surrounding how I arrived and with locked doors. It’s always fun to send the owner updates and pictures of their pet while away to ensure they are safe and getting the care they need.

About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.
About: i’ve owned dogs on my own for 10 years, worked professionally with dogs for 7 years in a kennel/day care environment. i have worked with dogs of different temperaments and sizes and ages and have training in pet health, safety, and body language. i work full time, with a set schedule. i am more than happy to come by to see your babies before or after work as well as on my days off. i personally walk my dogs on properly fitted harnesses on 4 ft leashes, one of them with a muzzle. i am open to 6 ft leashes, retractable leashes, prong collars, muzzles, backyard play, whatever your pup needs !!

I give them plenty of attention, snuggles (if they want them!), and engagement. I also send regular updates with photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My pets — Honey, Gigi, and Callie — are well-socialized, and I always do a slow, supervised introduction to make sure everyone gets along comfortably.
