“Taylor was great! She made her home super comfy for our two dogs; one of which tends to be very anxious. Taylor put her at ease, which allowed us to enjoy our vacation, knowing our pups were being well loved.”

“This was Addie’s first overnight experience. Laurie ensured Addie received lots of love while keeping me informed how Addie was doing each day. Laurie helped Addie navigate the new situation, easing her anxiety while giving her space and love. I truly appreciate Laurie and how she goes above and beyond for Addie and all our four-legged kids.❤️”

“Rachel is excellent. Communication was quick, consistent, and very detailed. I loved her sweet updates and knowing my lil guy was in good hands. “We used Angie for the second time to board our Frenchies while we were out of town, and she continues to be fantastic. She was incredibly communicative, sending daily updates with photos and videos of the girls so we never felt out of the loop. We had zero concerns the entire trip, knowing our pups were receiving the quality care they deserve. Thank you, Angie! We’ll definitely be booking with you again.”

“Dominic and his team at home took great care of Maddie. She came home worn out from all the playing with the other dogs. They have a great yard for outdoor playtime and plenty of beds all around (and a lap or two).”

“Our dog had a great time staying with Mackenzie. She sent a couple of photos while we were away along with a couple of messages. You could tell she enjoyed playing with her dogs—she is a good, tired dog. She washed Pepper’s blanket before pick up which I thought was nice.”

“Samantha was amazing and watched my cat for a few hours before a flight while I was home for the holidays. It was a last minute request and she answered and coordinated with me quickly and efficiently. She’s friendly, professional and close to the airport. Would definitely recommend boarding with Samantha!”

“Laurie was great with our 2 cats!! She was great about sticking with our timelines and she sent us great pics and videos. We will definitely book her again when needed.”

“My kitties love Billie Jo. Every pet parent has special things that they do for their animals. I try not to bog down my pet sitting instructions with every single one of those details, of the things that I do for them. However, my cats are pretty good about asking for what they want and directing people! And Billie Jo speaks and understands their language. She follows all the instructions that I leave and, in addition, the special little requests that the cats make for her… Like turning on the sink to give them a drink because they prefer that over their water bowl.”

“5/5 Stars “Stephanie S. was an absolute lifesaver while I was away! She came every day right on time as scheduled, no exceptions. She always sent the required pictures, which gave me such peace of mind seeing my dogs happy and well cared for. She played with them, gave them plenty of love and attention, and most importantly, she handled Jerry’s insulin injections perfectly. As a diabetic dog owner, finding someone reliable and skilled with daily injections is crucial, and Stephanie was spot-on following instructions to the letter with no issues at all. Stephanie is incredibly versatile, knowledgeable about dog care, and extremely dependable. She truly treats your pets like her own. I will definitely be hiring her again (and more frequently) as my work travel picks up. If you’re looking for a trustworthy, skilled pet watcher especially for dogs with medical needs Stephanie is the one! Highly recommend!””

“Misti took care of my two cats twice a day for two weeks. She did everything I asked and sent extra notes and pics at each visit. She is a great communicator! Misti even got my shy cat, Paris, into a great routine early on and was able to pet her by the end of the two weeks. I called Misti the cat whisperer for her ability to win Paris over. The house was perfect and cats were happy when we returned home. I will definitely call upon Misti for pet care in the future!”

“Emma stayed with my cat Patrick for a week while I was in another state for work. Patrick needs some special attention and takes daily medication. She did a great job making sure he was taking care of and comfortable! Additionally, she communicated with me well and made sure to send me some pictures every day!”

“Heather was wonderful to our kitty while we were on vacation! She sent thoughtful updates with lots of photos daily and took extra care to make our temperamental kitty feel comfortable. We’ll be using her in the future!”

“Theresa was awesome! She was super friendly, took notes at our first meeting and gave detailed updates on our cat. When he briefly stopped using the litterbox, not only was she willing to take him to a vet if needed, she actually offered to make an extra drop-in to let us know if he was okay. (Turns out he was fine, thank goodness) Leaving a pet behind to travel is always tough, but it's easier when you know they're in such great hands. Thank you Theresa!”

About: During the school year, I have the ability to drop-in before 6:30am and after 3:00pm (4:00pm on Wednesdays). I enjoy interacting with cats at their level of comfort. I will spend time playing with cats using their favorite toys. I love giving cats attention through lots of cuddles, pets, and chin scratches. I’ve owned shy cats before, and I understand their need to hide around new people. I will try to coax them out of hiding through treats, toys, and calls, but I will also respect their desire to hide. I will send pictures of your cats while you’re away to help you feel relaxed and confident in their care. I have had senior cats in the past, so I feel comfortable administering medication and taking care of senior cat needs. I am able to scoop litter boxes and will clean up hairballs, as needed. If cats need to be brushed, I can do that, as well.
“Here’s a warm, Rio was absolutely wonderful! She took the time to come over and meet me and my cat before the booking. During each visit, she provided detailed notes that showed how well she cared for my kitty. It was clear she took her time and genuinely cared. I felt completely at ease knowing my cat was in great hands. I highly recommend Rio and will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Paola was wonderful to my babies and always made the extra effort. She was on time and spent the entire hour with my babies and I truly appreciate that. She sent me photos, I missed them so much its my first time away from my kitten the pictures were so appreciated. Thanks so much Paola and if I go out of town again im going to be hoping to have you watch them! 🫶🏼”

“Riley is the sweetest! Great at communicating and very thorough and sweet. Provided great updates for our sweet cat throughout the weekend. Will definitely reach out again for cat sitting!”

“Jennifer was communicative! My kitty even came out and let her pet him. He's usually terrified of strangers. She sent updates and pictures! Will definitely use her again. Thank you!”

“Kyle was great. Ella is an insulin dependent diabetic and he reliably made visits to time her dosing appropriately. He was also available on short notice which really helped me out. Many thanks Kyle!”

“Virginia was great with my cat for a week! I was a little nervous about leaving her for the first time, but she sent daily pics and updates which really eased my nerves! Would definitely book again!”

Perfect for high energy dogs - Oakview
“Nathan was great! Quick to respond and took our little guy for daycare on VERY short notice. No communication issues and we would definitely trust him to pet sit for us again.”

About: I’ve had dogs from a young age. Staying with me, they will get attention, love, play time and cuddles. They will also get to play with my dog Lexi. I work from home full time so I’m always here. I’m able to go outside and play with your pups or give them extra attention. I have a fenced in yard with locks on my gates. I have a doggie door and the back door is always open. I have a 5 year old pup that is very calming and caring. She has been great with other dogs. She is very nurturing and always makes sure those in her space are safe. I have a couple of stories I can provide about her. I am very hands on and constantly checking on my girl and will do the same for your furbaby. Safety is very important to me, not only for your furbaby but for myself and my furbaby as well.
“Super kind couple! Alex sent updates throughout the day, and my dog was happily exhausted when I picked him up, so I’m sure he had a great time playing outside.”

“Clover has done day Carr with Rocio once before and this time like last she was a tired and happy pup after her visit! So appreciate the communication and photo updates! Thank you”

“Sarah was amazing. This was our first time with a Rover and Lexi felt comfortable and apparently did well. I appreciate Sarah being patient with Lexi as she navigates our new schedule and doggy daycare.”

About: My mom has been a trusted Rover sitter for several years now, so I grew up around this — it’s kind of in the blood. Your pet will be in good hands — I take it seriously and genuinely enjoy it. I have one of my own that’s stays in a consistent schedule and never forgotten or goes without attention (constant potty breaks included) , have all the free time in the word and have years on years of experience with all pets massive and small obedient or not, your pet will be looked after enjoy the time an my little fur baby loves to keep them company wherever they decide to adventure I have a big gated backyard plenty but enough for multiple dogs to do their own thing including my own free range to sleep jump and lay on furniture including beds and free range to the entire house and back yard,Very used to medicating if needed, crating, training, all an etc whatever special treatment they may need I’ve delt with it all and nothing to difficult to stay or keep up on if needed
About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.
About: I am a retired police dispatcher and have a squeaky clean background. I love all animals! I provide calm, reliable care and treat every dog like part of the family while they’re with me. I know how important it is for pet parents to feel comfortable leaving their dog with someone they trust, so I focus on safety, communication, and making pets feel at home. Whether it’s walks, playtime, cuddles, or sticking to a dog’s normal routine, I make sure each pet gets personalized attention and care. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. 🐾 Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m retired and have a very flexible schedule. I’m home often, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, supervision, walks, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship throughout the day. I respect both the pet's routine and the home itself by following all care instructions carefully. I treat all dogs like they are my family.
About: I’ve kept and rescued animals since a young age, which included tending to any wounds or injuries. My own pets were fosters, and most recently I fostered a lovely pittie who was then adopted. I’m very good with skittish cats, and I have a good understanding of basic dog training techniques. Lastly, I live a street away from a nice park which is good for dog walks. I love all animals, and spending time with them and caring for them is just as good for me as it is for them. I am currently self employed and jobs are few, so I have a very flexible schedule. Most, if not all my time would be dedicated to any pets in my care. I do have two of my own cats, so any dogs would have to be okay with cats in the house. All pets are different, with their own personalities, routines and likes/dislikes. Therefore, I plan to ask for detailed instructions regarding pet care. This can include things like a preference to crate the dog at night, dietary restrictions, favorite activities etc. I am detail oriented and appreciate any information or details owners can provide about their pets so that I may provide the best care possible.
About: I stand out as a pet sitter because of my personalized approach to each dog’s and cat’s unique needs. Whether it’s providing gentle care for senior pets, handling high-energy pups or playful cats with engaging activities, or helping with basic training for puppies or leash training for adventurous cats, I ensure every pet feels loved and comfortable. My experience includes recognizing signs of anxiety or stress in both dogs and cats, adapting to keep them happy and safe. Plus, my punctuality and dedication mean your pets receive consistent, attentive care every time. Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine. With two cats—one indoor and one outdoor—and two dogs of different sizes, I’m constantly engaging with their unique needs. Whether it’s ensuring my indoor cat has plenty of enrichment or managing my outdoor cat’s safe exploration, I prioritize their well-being. For my dogs, I balance their energy levels by taking them to the dog park regularly, where they can socialize and exercise. My experience caring for my own pets helps me understand the importance of meeting each animal’s specific needs with patience and love. I care for pets with the same love and attention I give my own. In my home, I provide a safe and comfortable environment where pets can relax, play, and feel secure. For dogs, this includes regular walks, playtime, and even trips to the dog park for exercise and socialization. Cats enjoy a mix of interactive play and quiet moments, depending on their temperament. In my clients’ homes, I follow their routines and preferences to ensure a seamless experience for the pets. This includes feeding on schedule, walking, litter box care, administering medications if needed, and giving plenty of affection. I also keep the home tidy and provide regular updates to reassure owners their pets are happy and well cared for.
About: I’ve had yorkie’s, dobie’s, lab’s, shepherd’s and schnauzer’s. My little Stevie passed away in April after 13 years together. She can’t be replaced so I’m looking to fill the void by caring for others while my heart mends. I have a lot of free time without a set schedule so there is always time to snuggle and play and go for walks together. I have a 4’ tall fenced yard with neighbors that have dogs too. I stay outside with the dogs and do not leave them alone. Dogs will have the run of my house and are allowed on the furniture and the beds too.
“We cannot say enough good about Gaby and Harrison's care of our four doggos! They readily agreed to help us out over a long weekend with very little notice. They provided doggy daycare with pick up and drop off service. They were absolutely life savers and did a great job with our doggos... caring for them as if they were their own. We look forward to booking with them again on the future.”

About: While this is my start of professional dog sitting, I’ve been watching family and friends’ pets for many years. I even fostered a dog with behavioral issues a couple of years ago. My dog is my whole world and any pet in my care gets the same attention. I WFH most days, going into the office for a half a day every Wednesday and 3 full days at the beginning of the month. My job doesn’t require me to be glued to my computer so I can be very flexible with my schedule most days. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to runaround. For wet or cold days, I have a mostly empty finished basement for playing. For dogs that want daily walks, I live in a safe neighborhood where I walk my own dog multiple times a day.

“Kamila has been taking my Goldendoodle on walks while I am at work and has been so amazing! She communicates very well with me and has been so flexible with my nursing schedule. I highly recommend her if you are looking for someone!!”

“Mikayla and Curtis go above and beyond with our new pup! Having their help every day to walk Behr and spend some time with our pup has been amazing! We will continue their service!”

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. I will make every effort to give your dog the same care that I was able to give Skyler and the rest of the dogs I’ve had the great fortune of watching and taking care of. There’s not many things that give me more joy than spending time with dogs. Now that I have more time on my hands in my 30’s I have recently gotten connected with volunteering with KC Pet Project. Dogs deserve all the love in the world. I currently work from home Monday and Friday so in addition to the weekend, it opens up availability to be present for the doggie. I’m in the office Tuesday - Thursday but available for morning/evening and quick bathroom breaks over lunch. I have a fenced in backyard and ample space inside the house to make your dog comfortable. I can crate if needed, but also have rooms that can function as “dog” rooms for the periods when I need to leave the house. I have my own Belgian Malinois, who mostly does her own thing. :)
“I highly recommend this person as a dog walker. She is very responsible, punctual, and caring with my dogs. I trust her completely, and she always makes sure my dogs are safe and happy. I am very grateful for her help and dedication. Thank you Stephanie 🩷🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Billie Jo is amazing! We have a temperamental rescue and she was fantastic with him. Knew exactly how to handle him and when not to push. It made me feel at ease knowing our pup was taken care of while we weren’t home.”

“Abigail was simply amazing with the dogs! She was very good with them, send frequent updates when she walked them, including pictures! You could see the happiness in their faces, and that they were enjoying their time with Abigail. It was a huge relief to know that they were being taken care of when I couldn't be there for them. I would recommend Abigail to anyone!”

About: I have never lived a day my 34 years without at least one pet to my name, usually dogs and cats. I have taken care of dogs and cats through every stage of life -- from delivering puppies to training competitive hunting dogs and providing palliative care for aging pets. I have a medical background and am comfortable with basic medical care. I work at home and am generally home the entire day. I have total flexibility over my schedule so it's easy for me to adjust to last-minute changes. I live in a spacious one-bedroom apartment in a very animal-friendly complex with plenty of residential streets and parks for long walks and fun. You can trust me to not only care for your pet but to respect the boundaries you set forth in regards to your pet's care.
About: i’ve owned dogs on my own for 10 years, worked professionally with dogs for 7 years in a kennel/day care environment. i have worked with dogs of different temperaments and sizes and ages and have training in pet health, safety, and body language. i work full time, with a set schedule. i am more than happy to come by to see your babies before or after work as well as on my days off. i personally walk my dogs on properly fitted harnesses on 4 ft leashes, one of them with a muzzle. i am open to 6 ft leashes, retractable leashes, prong collars, muzzles, backyard play, whatever your pup needs !!
About: I have loved and owned animals as long as I can remember. I was raised with dogs, and other small animals! My daughter and I lost our Ollie in August 2022 at 4 years old to lung cancer and would love to care for your pet until we are ready for our next family member. I am comfortable taking care of pets of any age. I can provide food and water bowls, blankets, dog beds, stuffed toys, and I have a medium size kennel. All you need to bring is food, treats, leash/harness and any special comfort items. My daughter loves to go outside every chance she gets so they will have a lot of outside time when the weather permits. They will be allowed to roam the house as they want and are allowed on furniture – like I said- spoiled. I love to send pictures while you are gone to share their adventures while they are here. I do work for the school district 11am-1:30pm but I will be around a majority of the time to play and take care of your family member while they are here. Any drop offs and pick ups will need to be before 9am or after 2:30pm I have a fenced in yard – it is a short fence so fence jumpers are probably not the best fit for me. We can crate them when we are gone if needed and will do our best to stick to their regular routine.

“My dogs are in love! They can’t get out the door fast enough when Michaela pulls into the drive. They come home exhausted!! Michaela is personable and flexible, I appreciate her.”

“Dependable, knowledgable and kind are the key words I would use to describe Jennifer's service. She has cared for our puppy twice, both times she walked him with her own dog, fed him and played with him. I came home to find a happy content puppy. Thanks Jennifer!”

About: If you’re anything like me, your pets are some of the most important things to you. Leaving them behind is hard, and trusting a stranger to take care of them is even harder. Your pet is your baby — which is why I aim to provide them with the same level of care that you give them! EXPERIENCE: I am an experienced small and large breed dog owner, walker, trainer, and sitter with over 7 years of experience. I’m a certified dog-walker for KC Pet Project and have a degree in psychology that informs my training practices. Some of my other special skills include administering oral medications via pill or syringe, working with blind and deaf pets, adapting to various temperaments from wary seniors to energetic babies, attuning to body language, and providing first aid. One of my own dogs struggles with severe separation anxiety, so I have a wealth of experience with giving daily oral medications, lowering distress levels, and compassionately discouraging resulting destructive behaviors. My schedule is very flexible for walks and drop-in visits! To beat the heat, I’m available in the mornings and evenings. At this time, I am unavailable for constant-care overnight visits. Most of all, I aim to keep your pet safe and to communicate clearly and consistently with you. I’m happy to do meet-and-greets before services begin so that we can establish a relationship and set expectations. I am comfortable with kenneling, provide constant monitoring to ensure safety, and I value giving your pet plenty of attention when in my care. Even if your routine is unorthodox, I am open and willing to try it! Not to mention, I find it important to ensure tidiness and maintain organization by putting things back where they belong.
About: I grew up with pets & definitely love spending time w/ them! I currently live in an apartment & have my 19 year old cat w/ me. Our pets become family & I’d love to help take care of yours anyway I can! I own my own chiropractic office in downtown KC, so my hours & schedule are more flexible than some others. I can typically accommodate for what your pet needs! I offer in-home visits for feeding, potty breaks, play time and walks. I’d love to help a fellow animal lover in any way I can!
“Kyle has been great! He has great energy and our pups love him. He has great communication. He's punctual, he's flexible, and he has pockets full of treats. He has even been working with our baby to stop her from pulling on walks. I am so happy to have found him.”

“This was our third time leaving our dog with Lona and Alan. She's now spent nearly 20 days in their care over the course of the three trips and I know each day she was taken care of wonderfully. I Would recommend them in a heartbeat!”

“Rocio was amazing!! We felt so comfortable knowing our fur babies were with someone so loving and caring! She also updated us with pictures and notes throughout the day. Our fur babies had a great stay! One of them did not want to leave :)”
