About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. I am very quick to respond to messages!

Taku has separation anxiety where if he’s left alone, he will cry and bark the whole entire time. Then I found Jeena on Rover! She was so accommodating! About: I have been taking care of my own animals my whole life, and have sat for other people on numerous occasions. I have also assisted with much of the care and feeding of a dog and several cats over the years. I live in South St. Louis City, and I can only really work there or in areas near there, but if you live close to me you will never be without the help you need. I can stay in your house if you'd like me to, but I can't keep other people's pets in my house because I have a very nervous and shy cat who would be made uncomfortable by this and a crazy dog who might scare your pets. I repeat: I can stay in your house or I can just pop in and out to take care of your pets, but I cannot have outside animals stay in my home. I also walk dogs. The rates for that might be a little bit different, but I assure you they will still be affordable. I have to say though that I cannot walk for an extended period in thunderstorms or freezing/icey temperatures. That's for my safety as well as your dog's. I will be your pet's new best friend and your asset when you are in a pinch or are going somewhere and can't take care of them. I have loved animals since I was a child, and I rarely find one with which I don't get along. I don't have a job which will take me out of town frequently, so I can provide my services as long as they are needed. I look forward to meeting you and your adorable animal friends! “I cannot say enough good things about Sarah. We added a 5 month old puppy to our pack two weeks before leaving town, and she took our older dog and this new addition without missing a beat. I was a nervous wreck before leaving, but Sarah calmed all my nerves and was so calm about the whole process that we were able to leave town with a sense of peace. Photos and updates daily really helped put our minds at ease while traveling, also! Sarah has an intuitiveness with dogs that not everyone has, and she was the perfect match for us. “We had a great experience with Marie and her family! She was available to do a meet and greet before we left Cooper with her for a long weekend and was very flexible on drop off and pick up timing. We got updates throughout the weekend and Cooper came home absolutely exhausted, a sure sign of a good time. We like that he was able to get a lot of interaction with the kids, and they all seemed to like helping out. We will definitely have Marie on our list next time we need a place for Cooper to stay.”
