“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! I am 20 years old and currently doing Rover full time so I have plenty of time to take care of your pups. They will receive my undivided attention with playtime and walks included if needed! I have a large home with a large privacy fenced yard. I also have several crates, or you can bring your own if you like. I have ample food in case you forget to bring your own. I am a life-long animal lover who has been drawing horses since I could hold a crayon, and I've been caring for all kinds of animals since I was a child. We had rabbits, guinea pigs, mice, cats, dogs, and horses at various times while I was growing up, and my childhood dream was to have lots of cats and lots of horses some day. These days my animal care is mostly directed at my own pets, but you can never have enough animals in your life in my opinion, and so here I am, ready to spoil your fur babies for you if you need! The past year I adopted a lab puppy, as a full time college student. This has been the greatest gift, but has shown me first handedly the hardships of having a dog. I want nothing more than to help ease the hardships of having a furry friend for you and your family. As a college student, I have classes everyday, about one or two classes. My days have many gaps and free time allowing for many potty breaks, walks, and play! My schedule is very flexible overall. Pets are my #1 priority when I am home, coming from a family with many dogs. Taking care of my dogs means walking, feeding, playing, and small training on a daily basis. Love and affection is another part of caring for pets in my opinion.
About: I've had dogs for over 10 years, two who are seniors with one of those being a tripawd. All of my pups have special needs of one type or another (even my 4-year-old) so I understand firsthand how to provide individualized care in whatever form you need. I am fully prepared to care for your loved ones to your exact specifications, no request is too big or too small because I understand. I've also helped several neighbors with repeat dog and cat care so my sphere of experience doesn't just include my own furry kiddos. You can trust when you hire me that I will make sure your furry family stays safe and healthy while you're away. I currently work full-time Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm to provide for my own doggos in the manner to which they've become accustomed. That leaves weekday evenings and all day on the weekends open to care for your furry family. I'm also open to early morning drop-ins. If you have needs outside of that window, I might be able to work something out with enough notice. I will care for your pets in your home to your exact specifications. If you want me to walk them, I will (I welcome the exercise!). Stay in the yard, I can do that too! As a pet parent myself who has relied on sitters, I know how important it is to have a sitter who listens and follows instructions so you and your furry family have the best experience possible.
About: I have taken care of a lot of dogs and can’t wait to take care of so many more! I have loved animals since I was very young and even wanted to be a veterinarian when I got older. I am a college athlete so I do have practice every morning of the week but after that my days are usually free and I would love to hang out with some dogs! I have a fenced in yard and 1 very friendly and playful puppy. I also have 2 friendly and loving cats. I love taking my dog, Oakley, to the dog park and taking her on walks and I’m sure Oakley could use a friend!
About: I’m extremely patient and caring with each dog or other pets I take care of. I’ve helped friends & family over the years with their own! Pets are an important part of the family and should be treated as such. I work part time currently so my schedule is very flexible and negotiable to spend time with your pets. I make sure to prioritize care so you can rest assured your pups are getting all the love and care they need! I always talk with whoever pets I’m taking care of about their routines at home and what is the environment their most comfortable with. Even with fenced in yards I’ll stand outside and make sure everything is ok while also giving dogs company.
