About: I have live and taken care of my own pets since I was 15 years old. I have experience with pitbulls, Shepard's, labs, corgis, and cats. I have three cats of my own right now, but have had dogs in the past Recently I have branched out and started helping my friends take care of their animals while we are one different shifts. I work at NKCH 3 days a week with rotating 12 hour day shifts. One week is Monday through Wednesday and the next week is Wednesday through Friday. I do pick up at Truman Medical Center for 8 hours, but will have those days blocked off. I love playing with animals in their own environment so they are more comfortable with the surrounding environment with different outside factors in a new area. Walks will be in their neighborhood.

If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

About: While this is my start of professional dog sitting, I’ve been watching family and friends’ pets for many years. I even fostered a dog with behavioral issues a couple of years ago. My dog is my whole world and any pet in my care gets the same attention. I WFH most days, going into the office for a half a day every Wednesday and 3 full days at the beginning of the month. My job doesn’t require me to be glued to my computer so I can be very flexible with my schedule most days. I have a fenced in backyard with plenty of space to runaround. About: I’ve had dogs all my life and it seemed the family dogs always gravitated toward me. I can’t imagine life without them! I’ve been caring for other’s dogs ever since I got my drivers license. The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day. Even though it hurt to have to give him shots, I loved having the opportunity to care for dogs other than my own. Since then I’ve had the opportunity of being the go-to dog watcher for several families with several different dog (and cat) breeds. We have never left him with anyone other than family but I just felt extremely comfortable with Cathy and knew he would be good with her. She sent me some pics of him and kept me updated during his stay of 6 days. She keeps the large dogs separate from the smaller ones which was good for Sammy as he has not really been around other dogs much. She will definitely be my go to sitter from now on. If you choose to leave your pet with Cathy, you can relax and enjoy your trip because she will give him care, attention and all the love they need.”
