I have three cats of my own right now, but have had dogs in the past Recently I have branched out and started helping my friends take care of their animals while we are one different shifts. I work at NKCH 3 days a week with rotating 12 hour day shifts. One week is Monday through Wednesday and the next week is Wednesday through Friday. I do pick up at Truman Medical Center for 8 hours, but will have those days blocked off. I am an early morning person and can do early morning drop in visits and walks before 7 am (including weekends and holidays). I typically get my lunch break between 12-2 pm. I can come and do a drop in visit or do a short walk over my break. Evenings are a possibility but are less flexible and open. I can offer enrichment with treats, playtime and exercise. I like a good cuddle session as well as a hyper wrestling match, or active fetch game. I enjoy being out in God's creation and am open to more nature based walks if you have an active curious pup (like my own dog). I think cats should also be enriched and loved. I like playing games with cats and helping them feel comfortable and spoiled. I have owned a lizard of my own and am not afraid of reptiles or rodents. I think exotic pets need enrichment, entertainment, and love as well.

The first dog I watched for a family (a beautiful Alaskan husky) had diabetes and required diabetic shots twice a day.
