About: I have always been an animal lover. I grew up in a home that always had a fur baby and as I grew up I have always had a fur baby of my own. I personally believe owning a pet makes a house a home. Aside from my personal experience with pets, I also was an assistant at an in-home pet sitting business for 4+ years. I currently work full-time as a nurse practitioner. My weekly schedule consists of 4 10 hour shifts 6:00am-4:30pm. I have all evenings available during the week for pet sitting. About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

Depending on the day if I work your pet will get 1 walk and plenty of outside time! If I am not working your dog will get 2 walks, hours of outside time and get as much enrichment to help their mental stemalation and energy! Starting in May on Saturdays I typically work at a race track until late, but I will go to your home prior to me going to the track. I have a fenced in yard and live in a nice Kearney neighborhood! We have several nature trails to walk on and a dog park in town! I do have two dogs but both are very friendly with other dogs and up to date on all vaccinations! There is also a vet office 5 minutes down the road that I take my animals to so if there ever is an emergency I will go straight there!
About: I was a veterinary assistant for 6 years and I have lots of experience caring for dogs as well as cats. I have done pet sitting, dog walking, grooming . . . I am now a stay-at-home mom with two kids we live on a farm so we wake up early and go to bed late. That leaves us with lots of time to care for our animals. I do have a fenced yard that is 2 acres so dogs have plenty of room to run but since I have cattle panel fencing, small dogs would be able to get through. When I was 13 I got my first puppy, I potty trained him, leash trained him and trained him on the basics with a few tricks. When I turned 19 I became an Animal Caretaker for a dog daycare and boarding facility and loved it! I also maintained a clean environment for the safety of the dogs and staff. While I am not a certified dog trainer, I do know approved methods of correction and redirection for dogs. I will not correct your dog's behavior unless specifically asked, and we can talk about what is best for you and your pet! I have worked with dogs of all ages from a few months old to senior dogs as well as dogs of all sizes from teacup chihuahuas to great danes! I know leaving your pet in someone else's care is scary, which is why I emphasize that your and your furball's wellbeing are my number one priority! My schedule is currently unpredictable so this will be updated weekly.
