About: I've spent much of my life living with and caring for dogs--from growing up with dogs throughout childhood, to helping care for dogs as an adult, to having Spencer, my most recent dog. I don't currently have pets of my own, which means visiting dogs get my full attention and don't have to adjust to unfamiliar resident animals. I genuinely miss having a dog around! I work from home and love the idea of giving someone's dog a cozy, low-stress place to stay while their humans are away. I intentionally accept dogs from only one household at a time, so I'm able to get to know their routine, personality, and quirks and make sure they get lots of individual attention. I have a dog door that suits a large dog and a fenced-in backyard in beautiful Southwest Garden, across from The Hill. I'm comfortable following detailed feeding and medication instructions and am happy to care for senior dogs. I'm currently focusing on friendly, reliably housetrained adult small and medium dogs that I can comfortably handle on leash. I prefer a meet-and-greet before a first stay so that both the dog and I can ensure we're comfortable together. And I love sending photos and updates! Getting pictures of Spencer when I traveled always made me happy, so I'm delighted to do the same for you. I work from home Monday through Friday from 9am-6pm, so I’m home much of the day and can easily fit walks, playtime, meals, potty breaks, and plenty of attention into my routine. I live on a quiet, tree-lined street with sidewalks and no through traffic, just ten houses from Sublette Park. I love walking the perimeter of the park, so dogs who enjoy walks will have plenty of opportunities to get out and "sniff the puppy newspaper." I’m happy to take dogs for several walks a day depending on their normal routine and energy level. I do leave the house for errands and activities, so dogs should be comfortable relaxing at home alone for a few hours at a time. I have a quiet, dog-friendly home with no resident pets, and I only host dogs from one household at a time. I have a large, fully fenced privacy backyard for supervised play and potty breaks, plus a dog door that can be closed and locked when needed. Dogs are welcome to relax on my large couch, which is always covered with waterproof pet blankets. At night, dogs can sleep in their own crate in my downstairs den, on the couch, or--if they’re well behaved without a crate--on a dog bed in my bedroom. I don’t provide a crate, so owners should bring one if their dog needs it. I prefer to meet new dogs before their first stay so I can learn their routine and make sure I can handle them comfortably and safely. I’m currently best suited for friendly, reliably housetrained adult dogs who aren’t strong pullers, destructive chewers, or determined escape artists.

About: I have regularly fostered dogs for the past five years and have worked with over 75 dogs and counting. I have so loved this experience meeting new friends of all breeds, needs, shapes and sizes and would love to meet your pup as well! I have even had the experience and privilege of taking puppies numerous times to the nursing home to meet with residents there, bringing with them their puppy joy and cheer. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help! Our family follows the school schedule during the week day, leaving at 8:15 and arriving home around 3:30pm. If needed, I can allow for one bathroom break mid day. There is a room officially dedicated in our house to the animals that I watch and foster. They would have this room all to themselves for when they come stay (no need to share with other pets!). There are pee pads and litter boxes also available if needed. Please see pictures of the room located under the sitter profile. I also have a crate available and an x pen if your furry friend prefers that. I have a fenced in front and back yard that has been visited and approved by the Humane Society.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. I typically walk them 4 to 6 times a day, depending on the wants/needs of the pup and the weather. I will be sure to check in multiple times daily with you and send photos and videos. About: I’ve always loved dogs, whether they were mine or those of friends. I’ve had dogs for many years, and they have been my best buddies! I adopted Stanley last September from Have a Heart Rescue. Stanley is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He is only 17 pounds and full of energy and loads of love. He enjoys “walking” other dogs if he can get ahold of their leashes and loves to do zoomies in the yard and play tag with other dogs. As he is a small pup, I would prefer to only watch dogs up to 40 pounds and must be socialized with other dogs and people. As I am retired now, I would love to start dog sitting in my home and would be open to doggy daycare. I am rarely away from the house for more than two hours at a time. I have a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. Dogs have always been allowed on the chairs, sofas and on the bed. Who wants to sleep on the floor? I have been unofficially dog sitting for almost 40 years, and have recently started dog sitting for pay. I believe it is a good idea for the dogs and owners to have a meet-and-greet as it’s a great way to make sure we’re all a good fit and gives us the opportunity to meet and talk about our expectations. About: I have taken care of dogs my entire life! I love dogs in all sizes and have the most experience with chihuahuas from puppies to much older puppies. I love going for walks and going places with doggies but I’m also not opposed to a leisurely stroll or hanging out on the couch! I took some time off to focus on my full-time job but now I am back to take care of your fur babies! I have experience with breeds of all shapes and sizes, and love to learn about each pets needs, quirks, and their favorite spot to be pet! I work as an RN full time 12 hour shifts, typically overnights! If you need a quick walk or drop in visit in the early mornings, mid day, and early evening, I'm your gal! If you need a quick drop in while you are at work or running errands, I'm your gal as well! I do not mind late night drop ins or walks as well, I am pretty flexible for walks and drop ins throughout the day if I’m not working at the hospital or studying at school. I love to walk parks and hike through trails, and your dog can come along for the ride anytime!! I am always very respectful of boundaries and client's homes. I will care for your pets just as you would, providing them with as much attention and love they desire! I am always respectful of your pets boundaries as well, and will never put them in a stressful situation. I currently live in an apartment that only allows cats, and I have one kitty cat named Booker. I am a nursing student and I study quite a bit. If your pet needs a person who can chill and keep them company, I can 100% provide that! If your pet needs someone to play and run around with, I can 100% provide that as well! If your pet has medical administration needs, I have experience with this as well. One family that I pet sat regularly for had a kitty who needed insulin via injection two times a day, another had a pupper that needed two pills at morning and evening feedings. I am always punctual with medicine times and I follow instructions very closely.

About: I have regularly fostered dogs for the past five years and have worked with over 75 dogs and counting. I have so loved this experience meeting new friends of all breeds, needs, shapes and sizes and would love to meet your pup as well! I have even had the experience and privilege of taking puppies numerous times to the nursing home to meet with residents there, bringing with them their puppy joy and cheer. Please let me know if you have any questions, I am happy to help! Our family follows the school schedule during the week day, leaving at 8:15 and arriving home around 3:30pm. If needed, I can allow for one bathroom break mid day. There is a room officially dedicated in our house to the animals that I watch and foster. They would have this room all to themselves for when they come stay (no need to share with other pets!). There are pee pads and litter boxes also available if needed. Please see pictures of the room located under the sitter profile. I also have a crate available and an x pen if your furry friend prefers that. I have a fenced in front and back yard that has been visited and approved by the Humane Society.

He really demands a lot of love and attention and it gave us peace of mind to know Toofer was having fun with Tyler & the other dogs at Dogs & Recreation. You could see the joy on his face in the many pictures that were provided and the regular updates helped my whole family feel connected to the vacation Toofer was enjoying while we were traveling.
