“Great having Saige as my first sitter! We met at a Starbucks to do a meet and greet and I instantly felt comfortable. Scary bringing a stranger into your home these days, so I was thankful she was open to answering any questions and wanted me to feel comfortable. Days later, I then had Saige come to my home to meet my cat and see the space to ensure she would also be comfortable sitting at my home. She petsitted or pet sat(?) lol, for 4 days and there’s hardly a hint that she was ever here - meaning she left the place as she found it and didn’t leave a mess or anything. I don’t think my kitty ever got super used to having a stranger in her home but that’s not Saige’s fault. My kitty is just super shy and takes a while to warm up to strangers. I just asked that Saige respect her boundaries and space and I believe she did that! About: I have taken care of dogs as long as I can remember! I watch pets for friends and family all the time. I love being able to shower pets with play time, walks and cuddles (if they like those things)! I'm available to sit/board most days and weekends. I will have plenty of time to play, go on walks and provide bathroom breaks. I do work hybrid, so there might be a day or two where I'll be away for maximum 8 hours. I have a fenced in backyard and no pets. I do have a crate on hand if your dog prefers a crate. I know some dogs are crate trained and/or prefer crates.

About: Ive been doing Rover now for almost 2 years and it has brought me so much joy and new friends! I worked a summer at kc zoo and it was the most fun job I have ever had. I've had dogs and cats my whole life. Also around horses from my uncle. I have adopted all of my animals from shelters. I love my dogs and cats like they are family. I have a teenage son I have to keep out of petco or any other animal place otherwise he wants to bring all the animals home, joking but not completely untrue. It's how we ended up with our Kitty Maisey. We even took care of the class's bearded dragon over spring break during Covid. He will come along on visits if available as he is the animal whisperer and wants to be a vet. Our 2 dogs are Dottie (our adopted covid pointer mix pup who is the sweetest girl and loves to have visitors to play with), and Marley who is our very sweet, laid back senior dog. Both our pups were rescues. Marley is afraid of thunderstorms and fireworks so we sre familliar with giving medications and making dogs feel safe and comfortable. Dottie is allergic to something during the late summer and September month and takes medicine for that allergy at that time. We believe in treats but only rawhide free and dental bones. Please bring your own food and treats and let me know if you prefer not to share our treats. We also have 2 cats that are used to dogs and in fact think that each dog is their mommy since we got them as kittens and have an attachment to their respective dog mommy. You will even find cats and dogs snuggling together on the bed. Or Moose playing with Dottie in his tunnel. I have had animals with special needs from a diabetic cat that I gave insulin injections to treating animals with special needs. I live right down the street from a great dog park here in belton. We would love to take any new friends to visit. Please let me know if you prefer them not to go to the dog park and we can stay here and play. We have a fenced back yard but one side is only 4 ft. I work from home as a director so I have a very flexible schedule. My son does play competitive soccer so sometimes weekends have us at soccer field for about 2 hours. I have a fenced yard 3 sides are 6 foot privacy and one has a 4 foot chain link. I follow my client's care directions in their homes.

I currently work full-time remotely, so I have flexibility to see your pet throughout the day and much room in the evening after 5pm. While I work, I can often stay with the pet(s) during the day to take them out, keep them company, and tailor to their specific needs. I also strive to make the house look just like it had before the family left.

About: I’ve been caring for cats and dogs since I was about five-years-old! From my own to pets of friends and family. I consider animals as important as people! I’ve also cared for my own and other’s fish, birds, hamsters, gerbils, rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens, ducks, quail. I’m an avid hiker and love walking with dogs and even have a cat of my own that I leash trained and goes on walks with me! I’ll play with your pets, take them out for fresh air and exercise, or just hang out for awhile so they don’t think they’ve been abandoned (as some cats and dogs seem to believe)! I am a self employed and make my own schedule, often working from home. My schedule is highly flexible and can usually accommodate your needs. I love playing with animals! Can feed and give medications as needed in most situations. Scoop poop. Make sure they haven’t torn apart the plants! Etc! In my home care, pets can be walked on a regular basis. Can have their own room if needed or have access to kennel. We have a large house and plenty of room to play. Prices are flexible depending on the location, number and type of animals.

About: I have taken care of multiple dogs during my lifetime, some of my own and some just visiting. The longest time I have dog-sat was about a year. I'm sure I am prepared to watch your precious fur baby and give them all the love and care they could need. I can keep you updated with the fun if you would like pictures and/or videos while you are away. I currently work in Olathe but I do have the ability to work remotely upon request. My family and I are mostly home bodies and love spending time outside, perfect time for running and playing for your pets. I have a fenced backyard so your pet can run, play and hang out safely with my family and I during their stay. We have room to have their bed/crate near the backdoor for those first thing in the morning restroom breaks that sometimes just can't wait. Both my kids love to help feed, brush, water, pet and play with animals.
