About: Capable - since I started working at a veterinary clinic at age 15, many members of the community have reached out to me to care for their beloved animals and homes. Now that I am in veterinary school, I feel more confident than ever to provide well-rounded care for various types of animals. I have years of experience working at a bird boarding facility as well as caring for my own pet rabbits, Peachy and Cobbler. Compassionate - I understand that every animals is unique and requires special considerations. About: Hello! My name is Sarah and I am an animal science major at the University of Missouri-Columbia, and I love getting to work with a variety of animals. Not only did I grow up on a farm with cattle, pigs, turkeys, dogs, and cats, I also have three years of experience working with more exotic animals at a science and animal camp. I have had the pleasure of working with llamas, snakes, emus, and my favorite animal, the ring-tailed lemur. At camp we have over 100 different species of animals. About: I am a dog lover through and through. I’m a proud “step mom” of my fiancé’s Shiba Inu, Charlie, but at this point I really consider him my dog too. He is an absolute angel and I love to give him lots of walks, take him to the dog park (he is healthy and vaccinated!), give him lots of pets, and the occasional treat! Other than watching Charlie, I have dog sat for a few family friends, and I used to volunteer at a local animal shelter by walking the dogs and cleaning their stalls. I work from home full-time. About: *due to my lovely regulars keeping me busy, I am unable to take new clients at this this time. You can still put in a request but I may not be able to take it. Thank you! I've had dogs my entire life and have taken care of neighbors/friends/professors dogs for years. I consider my dog my son and nothing is more important to me than making sure the dogs in my life and loved and well cared for. Since starting Rover spring 2022, I've watched over 100 dogs of many breeds and sizes, many of whom I've now watched multiple times and feel very bonded with. **** I am full for all repeating (i.e., weekly drop-ins/walks) requests currently. Feel free to still put in the request but depending on time, days, and your location, I will likely be unable to commit to repeat weekday services right now. I am also limiting housesitting mostly to past clients but you are welcome to still submit a request. I live in an apartment so I'm limiting services to dog walking, drop in visits, and housesitting for now. Flexible with times and lengths of these, however! I always make sure to set aside lots of time for pets and cuddles in all of my drop ins! I will also send lots of pictures and as many updates as you would like. I am a PhD student in psychology with generally flexible hours so I do best with dogs who can be left for 2-4 hours so I can attend classes and meetings. Depending on the day, I may not be able to do a midday individual drop-in or walk this semester but my weekend availability is wide open. For housesitting, it would be wonderful if it were a home where you would be okay with me bringing my (quiet, small, housetrained, 10 pound) dog with me so I don't have to leave him all night. Let me know if I should be aware of any household items your dog tends to eat, chew, or get into. Also let me know if there are any specific activities they especially enjoy - fetch, swimming, etc.

Our wedding venue allowed for our doggie to be present at the ceremony (she walked the aisle in a flower collar and pearl leash :)!) but not reception, and so we needed not only a dog sitter but one who would be willing to pick up our girl from the wedding venue! James was happy to do it, showed up right on time, and our Chewie happily went with! They sent us cute pics of our babygirl relaxing on their couch and playing in their backyard during the wedding reception. It really put us at ease. We've never had to turn to Rover for dog sitting, usually we have family do it (obviously not an option when the whole family and friend-crew is at the wedding), but now that we know how amazing James and Jennifer are, we are forever grateful and liable to ask for their help again! Of course, this information is species-dependent, and not every item will pertain to every individual.
About: I have been around pets since I was a kid. I did take care of elder dogs in the past time. I did dog-sitting the puppies. I had experience with foster dogs and my housemate in the past. I have experience with deaf dogs myself. My family and I raised a deaf dog; she is now at peace. I am currently working from home. My schedule has some flexibility that I can take care of other things such as taking care of pets. I always make sure the pets feel safe and secure in their space. I care about their boundaries in their daily routine and develop relationships with their pets.

About: I’m a natural born animal lover. I grew up rescuing birds and any kind of critter since I was a small child. I lived in Missouri and was blessed with a big yard to fill with dogs and a loving home to fill with cats. I also have a strong passion for rabbits after adopting a disabled rabbit. About: I have training experience & trained my pup myself! We play, snuggle, walk, and continue to practice training every day! I love teaching my pup new tricks, and can do the same for yours! We are very happy & energetic in our home! My sweet Buster gets along with other animals very well! He's a sweetie! I make sure to do mentally stimulating activities and challenges for Buster! They're so good for dogs! I make them fun and rewarding! I can do that for your baby too! I work full-time. And when I come home, my attention is on my pup- getting his energy out and having fun! If your request is for house sitting, I would need to bring my dog along with me. I'm home all evenings and all weekends. On the weekend, especially, I'll be available to do all the caring for your sweet babe!! The #1 thing is I don't give my dog people food. If I do, he only gets safe fruits & veggies and cheese. I don't have anything a dog could choke on or really swallow. I put Buster in a kennel when I'm gone, but I could leave your dog out if they don't do kennels. Please ask me questions if you have any!
