About: Capable - since I started working at a veterinary clinic at age 15, many members of the community have reached out to me to care for their beloved animals and homes. Now that I am in veterinary school, I feel more confident than ever to provide well-rounded care for various types of animals. I have years of experience working at a bird boarding facility as well as caring for my own pet rabbits, Peachy and Cobbler. Compassionate - I understand that every animals is unique and requires special considerations. I've had dogs my entire life and have taken care of neighbors/friends/professors dogs for years. I consider my dog my son and nothing is more important to me than making sure the dogs in my life and loved and well cared for. Since starting Rover spring 2022, I've watched over 100 dogs of many breeds and sizes, many of whom I've now watched multiple times and feel very bonded with. **** I am full for all repeating (i.e., weekly drop-ins/walks) requests currently. Feel free to still put in the request but depending on time, days, and your location, I will likely be unable to commit to repeat weekday services right now. I am also limiting housesitting mostly to past clients but you are welcome to still submit a request. I live in an apartment so I'm limiting services to dog walking, drop in visits, and housesitting for now. Flexible with times and lengths of these, however! I always make sure to set aside lots of time for pets and cuddles in all of my drop ins! I will also send lots of pictures and as many updates as you would like. I am a PhD student in psychology with generally flexible hours so I do best with dogs who can be left for 2-4 hours so I can attend classes and meetings. Depending on the day, I may not be able to do a midday individual drop-in or walk this semester but my weekend availability is wide open. For housesitting, it would be wonderful if it were a home where you would be okay with me bringing my (quiet, small, housetrained, 10 pound) dog with me so I don't have to leave him all night. Let me know if I should be aware of any household items your dog tends to eat, chew, or get into. Also let me know if there are any specific activities they especially enjoy - fetch, swimming, etc.

We have a fully fenced backyard (please make sure your pets are on flea and tick medicine as ticks have been bad this year), loads of indestructible toys (thanks, BarkBox!), and an open-door policy between inside and out, so your pup can roam, play, and lounge whenever they please. I work from home full-time, which means your dog is never left alone — I'm always here. Dogs are welcome on the furniture, in the bed, wherever they're happiest. This is their vacation too. Whether your dog needs a playmate, a cozy couch to nap on, or both, they'll feel right at home. Pet care is genuinely woven into my day, not something I have to carve out time for. Since I work from home full-time, I'm always present — whether that's taking a mid-morning break to play in the backyard, keeping an eye on the pack while I'm at my desk, or just being available if anyone needs a cuddle or a quick romp outside. My own two dogs set the rhythm of the day — morning energy bursts, afternoon lounging, outdoor time whenever the mood strikes. Guest dogs just fold right into that routine. Kallie took her time to sniff everything in the house and yard but Catlyn’s easy attitude let Kallie feel comfortable exploring. About: My family has had cats ever since I was 12, I also rescued a goldendoodle 8 years ago and he has been my best friend ever since. I love all types of animals, and have experience with rabbits, horses, guinea pigs, and hamsters as well. I have been pet sitting and dog walking as a vet student for over a year now. I am a veterinary student in my clinical rotation years. I live in a duplex, meaning I have my own house with no roommates. It is a 2 bedroom, 1 bath. I can pet sit from your house if you have multiple pets and are gone for days or pet sit from my own place if you have just a cat or a smaller dog. I live in a duplex at the moment by myself without any pets, but I pet sit for friends a lot, driving over to their places to let the dogs out/walk them, feed the cats/dogs/fish and clean the litter boxes, make sure the water bowls are filled, etc.
About: I have a senior pet myself. She is a 15 year old shitzu that I trained (If you know about shitzus they can be very sassy/stubborn lol). I have also raised two of my cats from 6 weeks old. Both my dog and cats are very friendly and tolerable. My boyfriend is home most of the day. I am a waitress so I don’t go into work until 4 or later usually I get out at 9-10 but usually earlier. Besides that I am always home. I care for pets that I am watching just like I would my own! My apartment building has a big yard and i have many good pet friendly parks very close by. I have multiple dog toys, treats, and dog bed (but my dog is small) I also have multiple cat towers, scratchers, toys, and treats. My pets are feed 3x a day morning, noon, and night. About: I’ve have cared for animals my entire life, including raising a dog when I was 13. I am also am a regular dog sitter for a family with an elderly dog so can handle any age group! In addition to caring for my own pets, I have been looking after my neighbors’ pets since I was young, gaining experience with feeding, walking, playing with, and providing attentive care for a variety of animals. My lifelong experience with pets has made me responsible, dependable, and genuinely passionate about animal care. I work a part time job at a car wash. I work 3-4 5 hour shifts a week either morning or afternoon, and I will always be off before 7! I have always taken pet safety very seriously. When caring for dogs, I never allow them outside without a leash or properly fitted harness unless they are in a secure, fenced-in area. I make it a priority to closely supervise pets whenever they are outdoors to ensure their safety. I am especially cautious with small breeds and always keep a watchful eye on them, particularly at night. I understand the importance of preventing accidents and creating a safe, secure environment where pets can be comfortable and protected.

When I went to drop Lottie off she brought her dog down so that they could meet on neutral territory, which was really nice and during the weekend she text me updates and pics every day. About: I have training experience & trained my pup myself! We play, snuggle, walk, and continue to practice training every day! I love teaching my pup new tricks, and can do the same for yours! We are very happy & energetic in our home! My sweet Buster gets along with other animals very well! He's a sweetie! I make sure to do mentally stimulating activities and challenges for Buster! They're so good for dogs! I make them fun and rewarding! I can do that for your baby too! I work full-time. And when I come home, my attention is on my pup- getting his energy out and having fun! If your request is for house sitting, I would need to bring my dog along with me. I'm home all evenings and all weekends. On the weekend, especially, I'll be available to do all the caring for your sweet babe!! The #1 thing is I don't give my dog people food. If I do, he only gets safe fruits & veggies and cheese. I don't have anything a dog could choke on or really swallow. I put Buster in a kennel when I'm gone, but I could leave your dog out if they don't do kennels. Please ask me questions if you have any!
“Lisa is the BEST! We left our 7 month old chocolate lab puppy with her for the first time while we went on vacation. He had a great time! Lisa is the sweetest and had no issues with watching an energetic, crazy puppy. She sent lots of updates and photos, and was always available if I needed her. I would 100% recommend her.
