“This was our first time leaving our boys with a sitter and Melanie was fantastic. She was quick to respond and put our minds completely at ease during the meet and greet. Both dogs are recent rescues and they don’t always warm up to strangers right away, but they liked Melanie and her husband instantly. They got along well with her dogs, and I could tell they were going to have a great time. We got messages every day while we were away with updates, pictures, and even a video of them. It was a huge relief to know they were in good hands. When we picked them up they were happy to see us, but were clearly having fun. About: Our family raises Sheepadoodles and we live on a multi species farm in Wildwood. Ava worked for Puppingham Palace in their daycare. All age and size dogs. Eve is a medical professional with comprehensive understanding of animal health and welfare across multi species. We often work as a team to provide the utmost pet care coverage for our bookings with the ability to cover multiple bookings throughout the month. This allows our customers more flexibility for dates requested. We are comfortable with any size animal and their specific health and psychological needs. About: I once took care of five cats at the same time in an unfinished home. If that isn't enough for you, I also cared for my Grandfather's cat for two weeks, with said cat being afraid of me and its new environment. By making my presence known consistently but not forcefully, I managed to win her over. What sets me apart is my understanding of one key fact. You can't make a cat love you in the same way you would for a dog. Cats decide to enjoy your company if you've earned that privilege. Understanding how cats behave is what let me conquer the stories mentioned above. If a cat wants attention, I give it to them. If I see that they're getting bored, I play with them. If they want to be left alone, I leave them alone (unless they're obviously scheming to do something they shouldn't).

With a degree in Animal Science and extensive hands-on experience, I understand that safety is the top priority for every pet owner. When your pet stays with us, they will not only be safe but will also have a fun and enriching experience. In addition to boarding, we offer professional Training and Grooming services tailored to each dog's needs. My husband works nights and is home during the day to provide expert care and supervision for your pets. As dedicated owners of show dogs, we take pet care seriously and strive to maintain the highest standards in every aspect of our services. Our property features two fully fenced yards for play and exercise. The first is a secure 6-foot chain link and privacy-fenced potty yard, measuring approximately 20 ft x 60 ft. The second is a spacious, fully fenced double lot with rolling hills and lush grass, providing the perfect environment for your pet to run, play, and explore. *Dogs in our care must be crate trained during down time & at night. When we are not at Dog Shows or Training we are at home with our dogs. My husband works nights which means your pets will be left alone minimally. We have 2 fully fenced in yards. A smaller yard with 6ft privacy fence and a large play yard with 4ft roller panels. We do offer medical boarding on a case by case basis at an additional rate.

In 2000 our family recused a puppy from a local rescue organization, she was the BEST dog and lived like a princess in our home. About: I haven't had my own pets in a long time, but I've cared for over a dozen pets that I treated like my own despite belonging to others. I've introduced myself to and won over plenty of pets with my calm and collected approach. The majority of my pet care experience has been through visiting the homes of family friends to give their dogs bathroom breaks and be sure they have some company for a while as their owners are at work or on vacation. On multiple occasions, I've also stayed overnight for multiple days at a time. Because of this, I'm well equipped to meet your pets smoothly and cohabitate with them. I currently work remotely and have plans to attend college online, so I'll have more than enough time to visit at the very least. I can absolutely stay over, as I can simply work wherever I have my laptop if need be. Your pets will always be the first priority, of course. I do not have pets of my own at the moment, but I always treat other people's pets as if they were my own and with respect. If they want attention, they get it. If they want to be left alone, they will be left alone (within reason). Any instructions regarding feeding and medicine will be followed strictly.
About: From personal experience, I have had a dog for about 8 years now. Full pit bull and I love him dearly. I only have one, but am thinking about another. With new dogs I don’t know I am always gentle to start until they get to know me. I’m currently working part-time at Sarah’s on Central and typically work Thursday-Sunday. Starting in August I will be attending Maryville University as well. In my home, I only have one dog who honestly does get spoiled to death but he loves it that way. If I’m home all day I will take him out every 2-3 hours just to make sure he is all good and everything and if able will go with your dog as well unless less time is needed.
About: My friends tell me that I am an animal whisperer haha! I love the company of an animal and giving it all of my love! I used to have a dog of my own, we were best friends, but unfortunately he passed away a few years ago. About: I have taken care of dogs for the past ten years. I extremely care about a dogs wellbeing and happyness. I have experience giving medications to dogs, as my own dog requries daily medication. I also have experience wiping out and flushing a dogs ears, as my dog needs daily ear wipes. I am also more than willing to bathe and brush their coats. I also have experience with older dogs and am more than willing to provide assistance. I am currently a full time student, with an on campus job. But I have built in a mid-day break, of whihc will allow me to stop by and say hi to your furry friend. Additionally, my classes do not start until 9-9:30 AM, which will allow me to stop by in the mornings, if desired. My work day/ classes end around 5 PM each day, which will allow me to have plenty of time in the evenings to spend with your pet. I also have every Friday off, which will allow me to spend time with your pet! When I visit a clients home, will always make sure that their pet has enough water, and food. I will also ensure that any doors or gates (that are specified) are closed or open for their convenience and safety. Additionally, if I notice that the pet has gotten sick or made a mess, I will always clean it up with pet safe cleaners. I will also investigate and try to find out what caused them to get sick or make a mess. I will also record it and notify their owner of the occurance.
About: I have always taken care of dogs since I was a little kid. I have currently two dogs of my own and in the past have had cats guinea pigs, and other animals that have lived long happy healthy lives. I’m very reliable and dependable, and I would love to care for your pets! I’m currently only working part time which gives me lots of time with your pets I can do Monday's through Fridays from 8:30 to 4:30 but that is flexible if needed! About: I have experience with many different breeds and temperaments, ranging from puppies to senior dogs, friendly dogs and aggressive dogs. I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 10 years old. I owned, cared for, and trained a German Shepherd. I currently own 2 Australian Shepherds, one whom I trained myself. I am very flexible this summer so I can take last minute bookings. I can do any time of day. My weekends are available also for walking, check-ins, or boarding! 30 Minute Dog Walks include a fun stroll around your neighborhood or a nearby trail to give your pup the exercise, fresh air, and mental stimulation they need during the day. • 30 Minute Drop-Ins include potty breaks, feeding, playtime, and of course plenty of snuggles to keep your pet happy and comfortable while you're away. • My Basic House-Sitting service includes staying overnight with your pup so they have company and comfort in their own home, along with daytime care every 4-6 hours for potty breaks, meals, playtime, and cuddles. I am able to take your dog on walks/runs or play with them inside the house. I can take them outside to the bathroom, feed them, whatever your dog needs!
About: I have had past experience working at a Vet clinic where I have walked, given medication to, and interacted with multiple dog breeds of all different ages and needs. I have also taken care of a variety of animals for family members and friends for over 5 years. In addition, I have had many household pets of my own since I was 5 years old that I have cared and loved for. My work schedule is very flexible right now so I will be able to spend plenty of time caring for your furry family members! I can dog walk any day of the week, primarily in the mornings and afternoons. About: I love dogs! All dogs... big, small, smelly, playful. I have experience caring for my own dogs as well as other's. Dogs generally love me as well. I learned most of what I know about caring for dogs from The Dog Whisperer. He really knows his stuff! Does your dog need walks and some extra training? I can handle that no problem and really enjoy seeing a dog respond to training and play. I use positive reinforcement while working with dogs. I love walking for fitness and love it even more when I have a pup to join me. While pet sitting, I can also care for plants, etc. I enjoy gardening so if you have a garden and require house/pet sitting, consider me your person! My schedule is very flexible. I currently work gig jobs and freelance, remote accounting projects. If I am house/pet sitting for you I can accommodate whatever schedule your animals usually follow. I will follow whatever rules/instructions are laid out for me. Safety is number 1 and I am sure to keep owners updated on any issues promptly.
About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. Since then, I have been a reliable, trusted, and consistent dog-sitter for many clients. The safety and care of any animal is always my biggest priority, and I promise that I will not disappoint! I currently am not working, as I have just recently graduated from Saint Louis University. In other words, I am more often than not, completely available to work anytime on Weekdays and Weekends. I currently only work one day a week outside my home, the rest I work from home I would love a friend to hang out with, or take a break with. I will provide a loving fun time for your pet. I’m able and willing to send updates your way during my time with your pets to provide peace of mind, as well as to establish trust. I have a vehicle, and am able to take your pets to and from a veterinary clinic in case of emergency.
