“My dog Taddy needed a sitter short notice for 2 weeks, when our previously scheduled sitter had to cancel due to a family emergency. Julia was fortunately available and very attentive to Taddy's issues (with him being an anxious rescue dog, with arthritis, reactivity towards other dogs, etc.). She also didn't take on another client during the 2 weeks because of Taddy's issues with other dogs. We got a picture and an update every 2-3 days while we were away. Taddy looked very comfortable and at home in the pictures. Our flight back was delayed, and we picked up Taddy close to midnight, much later than planned. Julia was v cooperative and flexible with our delay which we really appreciated.”

The week before I left on my trip, my dog was experiencing some unforeseen skin problems that were going to require close monitoring and wound care that my regular dogsitters would not be able to provide. Needless to say, I was very stressed about finding someone who could care for Poppy in such a short amount of time. I was drawn to Jennifer’s profile because of her experience working as a vet tech. When I reached out, Jennifer responded immediately saying she would be happy to help (hooray!) and within just a few days of contacting her she made time for me and Poppy to come to her house and meet her, her daughter, and her sweet pup, Ellie. Poppy had an AMAZING stay with Jennifer! Jennifer sent me photos and videos of Poppy daily, keeping me updated on how much fun she was having with the other dogs and how her skin was healing. It provided such peace of mind knowing my pup was in such loving, caring hands! About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I only recently, in the past couple of years, started taking care of other people’s pups, and I really enjoy it. I treat all pups as if they were my own. I am retired. I play pickleball quite a bit, but I am never gone more than a few hours at a time. My husband works from home, so there is almost always someone around to accompany your pup. My favorite part of the job is showering pups with love. We have mattresses on the floor and if the pups are willing, we love to snuggle with them. About: I’ve always loved dogs, whether they were mine or those of friends. I’ve had dogs for many years, and they have been my best buddies! I adopted Stanley last September from Have a Heart Rescue. Stanley is very playful and loves to play with other dogs. He is only 17 pounds and full of energy and loads of love. He enjoys “walking” other dogs if he can get ahold of their leashes and loves to do zoomies in the yard and play tag with other dogs. As he is a small pup, I would prefer to only watch dogs up to 40 pounds and must be socialized with other dogs and people. As I am retired now, I would love to start dog sitting in my home and would be open to doggy daycare. I am rarely away from the house for more than two hours at a time. I have a fully fenced in yard with plenty of room to play. Dogs have always been allowed on the chairs, sofas and on the bed. Who wants to sleep on the floor? I have been unofficially dog sitting for almost 40 years, and have recently started dog sitting for pay. I believe it is a good idea for the dogs and owners to have a meet-and-greet as it’s a great way to make sure we’re all a good fit and gives us the opportunity to meet and talk about our expectations. She also didn't take on another client during the 2 weeks because of Taddy's issues with other dogs. We got a picture and an update every 2-3 days while we were away. Taddy looked very comfortable and at home in the pictures. Our flight back was delayed, and we picked up Taddy close to midnight, much later than planned. Julia was v cooperative and flexible with our delay which we really appreciated.”
“I recently did a long-term boarding stay with Jennifer (2 weeks) and I can’t say enough great things about her! The week before I left on my trip, my dog was experiencing some unforeseen skin problems that were going to require close monitoring and wound care that my regular dogsitters would not be able to provide. Needless to say, I was very stressed about finding someone who could care for Poppy in such a short amount of time. I was drawn to Jennifer’s profile because of her experience working as a vet tech. When I reached out, Jennifer responded immediately saying she would be happy to help (hooray!) and within just a few days of contacting her she made time for me and Poppy to come to her house and meet her, her daughter, and her sweet pup, Ellie. Poppy had an AMAZING stay with Jennifer! Jennifer sent me photos and videos of Poppy daily, keeping me updated on how much fun she was having with the other dogs and how her skin was healing. It provided such peace of mind knowing my pup was in such loving, caring hands! I am so grateful to Jennifer for helping me under such short notice, and even more grateful for the amazing care she provided. I will definitely be rebooking with her in the future!”
