About: I have always had a dog and cat in my life (and still do!). I have been using Rover for two years and I don't seem to want to stop anytime soon. I have trained two golden retrievers and walked a lot of puppies, senior dogs and many ages in-between. One of my own dogs was awarded canine good citizenship before my children were born. I love being around animals and I have a caring nature. Now that my kids are getting older, it fits my need to get exercise and bring some joy into my life. I would love to give your pet some snuggles, snacks and I am always mindful to send lots of photos to ensure you can relax while you are away. I know that is what I would want as a pet owner. Some people think you have to either be a "dog person" or a "cat person". Not me! They both have a place in my heart for very different reasons. Cats take some time, but I love their comforting purr, the playfulness of spunky kittens or just petting their soft fur. Some owners simply just someone they can trust for a check-in. I am happy to provide the details needed so you can be OK while you are away. I am typically available in the afternoons as long as I don’t have a meeting scheduled (I work from home) and most evenings are available. Weekends are the best time to book care if you will be out for soccer games, dinner or long evening plans. I have kids as well and I have used Rover for 6+ years on my own pets. I am excited to return the favor to you now that my kids are older. I have used crates with my own pets during training and I will follow whatever safety instructions are needed. I understand all collars, how to avoid run ins with feisty dogs and other concerns you may have. I know how to troubleshoot dogs that like to find hiding spots or have the ability to slip out of the door. I am 40+ and I am raising tweens at this point, so I have a little wisdom under me that other walkers may not have at this point. I am also trustworthy. I have a great full-time job coupled with flexibility. I just want to combine my love of pets with a little extra income.
“Blake was amazing with my Pups! Picked them up and dropped them off for me. Even clipped their nails. That sounds simple but my lab absolutely hates it (sounds like you are murdering her and takes two people). He sent me a photo of her relaxed and smiling lol. Absolutely will be using him again”

“Amie is truly the best! This was our second time using her and I know our pups are well taken care of and loved while in her home. We will definitely be using her again!”
“Lorri was an exceptional dog sitter! She provided excellent care for my corgi-bulldog mix, and it's evident that my furry friend had a fantastic stay because she returned home even happier than ever. A huge thank you once again for taking such wonderful care of my beloved pet!”
“Our dog Winnie had a great time with Dawn! She was very happy when we picked her up! Dawn sent photos of Winnie while we were away and she looked like she was enjoying herself! I would highly recommend Dawn and plan on using her services again when we take our summer vacation!”

“In addition to giving excellent care to our dog, Stephanie did a great job administering our dog’s medicines and keeping him on his restricted diet. We would definitely recommend Stephanie.”

About: For many years I have taken care of our household of cats from 1 cat up to 3! My siblings have cats too and anytime they go out of town they call on me to pop in for house check ins to make sure the cats are doing good, check water, food, litter boxes and most importantly give them some love and attention! I know cats can get anxious and lonely when their family is a way so I love to help with that need!
“Thank you for watching Misty! Cynthia communicated well the whole week, took care of Misty, and gave detailed reports with each visit. Will definitely reach out to Cynthia again for future sitter needs!”

“Tiffany was out first Rover experience. Could not have asked for a better cat sitter! She was very communicative. Lots of pictures and notes. Brought in our mail, swept around the litter boxes etc. She will be out top choice next time. Up”
About: I’m open to any animals! I grew up in Indiana taking care of dogs, cats, rabbits, sheep, chickens, reptiles, and I find love for all creatures big and small. I work in healthcare and have a need to care for others so let me know how I can help you! I work from 3-11pm but have days off during the week and weekends. I’m flexible during the day and can work with weird schedules. Let me know how I can help. I’ve house sat many times for pets with special needs. I’m aware a common problem with dogs is separation anxiety, even just during work hours! Any special medical needs for your animals or play/exercise needs just send a message.
“Kiki was attentive to my requests. She cares about cats and was knowledgeable about their needs. I also appreciated her diligence in sending me pictures of that cats which made my separation from them much more bearable.”
“Danny and Jennifer have taken care of our cat many times when we go on trips, and they are always wonderful. I love all the pictures and the detailed notes they send after each visit.”

“Blanca was an amazing caregiver to our two dogs while we were in Hawaii. She kept us updated with pictures and videos of them playing, chasing the ball, enjoying pets and scratches. We would definitely recommend Blanca and will 100% use her in the future!”
About: I am an animal lover at heart. It’s been my job to care for my neighbors and clients pets well being for years now. Pets are family and I’ll treat them as my own. I work part time from home so my schedule is flexible! I am available weekends, early mornings, late at night, etc. When I’m not working, I stay at home with my 20 month year old son who I’ve also now turned into a huge animal lover. My house is small and one of my dogs is very selective so I’d prefer to keep your furbaby at their home. I can stay over or visit multiple times a day- whatever works best for you.
“First time using Rover and Liam isn’t used to strangers so we were both a bit nervous. Punctual; being right on time for the scheduled appointments, responsive with great communication and regular updates. The photos are a nice touch and helpful. Exceeded expectations. Thank you.”

“Ashley is AWESOME!! We were a little worried about leaving our two cats for the first time since we got them, but she made us feel entirely at ease! She sent pictures to us every visit, as I asked for pics often (which was perfect because I worry about my fur babies!). She also administered a twice-daily inhaler to one of our cats and played with our girls every visit. She even brought them a little parrot toy for Christmas (which they LOVE)! I will undoubtedly be re-booking with Ashley for any future sitting!”

About: I’ve had cats my entire adult life, and I honestly can’t imagine life without them. I’ve cared for as many as four cats at once, so I’m very used to different personalities—some cuddly, some independent, and some who just like to supervise from a distance. Right now we have two cats at home, so cat life is very much part of my daily routine. I’m comfortable with feeding schedules, litter box care, and picking up on the little signals cats give when they’re happy, annoyed, or just want space. I really respect that every cat is different. Some want attention right away, others want to pretend you don’t exist for a while—and I’m totally fine with both. I let them lead the interaction and never force it. My goal is simple: keep things calm, consistent, and familiar so your cats feel safe while you’re away—and you get peace of mind knowing someone who “gets cats” is checking in on them.

About: I've lived with dogs my whole life and provided dogsitting services for over 6 years! Have 1 friendly dog of my own, and work from home full-time with a nice fenced yard. “Ursula was fantastic. She communicated very well with us during Marley's stay at her home. We really appreciated her care for our little dog when we were in Tucson for a brief stay.”

About: I have always loved dogs. My husband and I adopted a beagle 5 years ago and we have just loved every minute of it. We go on daily walks, have plenty of toys and dog puzzles. I currently work from home and will have plenty of time to monitor and play with your dogs. My Beagle Tommy is also dog friendly. We go outside frequently and supervise outside playtime. I have a friendly beagle who loves to play hard and nap hard too. We allow dogs on the furniture and work from home. We do not crate dogs even when leaving the home.
“Illie was so comfortable in Zadee’s home and warmed up fast, even for being a shy dog! She kept me updated throughout the stay and was so attentive to her needs. We highly recommend a stay with Zadee.”

About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! Luckily I work from home as an attorney and am able to provide many walks and attention throughout the day. I also live in an area with a lake and multiple dog parks. I am extremely attentive with any dogs that I take care of. I will provide sitting with care and attention and make sure your dog is safe and taken care of.
About: I’ve worked at Banfield pet hospital in different states, expanding my knowledge of different species from different regions. My grandmother owned a grooming business when I was a little rascal, which allowed me to be around fluffy friends all day. I work a typical day shift so my home is up and active by 6:30am every weekday and we’re on a walk before I head off to work. Evenings consist of walks before and after dinner. I allow animals to roam home as a part of their natural curiosity. I’ll have very deep conversations with my furry friends because I know for a fact they understand me, just as I do them. I enjoy walking around the neighborhood and, on average, I bike 10 miles a day to stay in top shape.
“I cannot recommend Bhairavi highly enough! From the moment we met, it was clear she genuinely loves and understands dogs. She went above and beyond to make sure Oakley felt comfortable, happy, and cared for. I received regular updates with adorable photos and thoughtful notes, which gave me total peace of mind. My dog came home relaxed, healthy, and clearly well-loved! It’s rare to find someone so responsible, kind, and attentive. If you’re looking for someone who will treat your dog like family, Bhairavi is the one. Bhairavi and Gary have a beautiful home and you will not find anyone better to love and care for your dog!! I will definitely be booking again!”

“Ashley took great care of our family member. He was recently rescued and she was very accommodating and knowledgable about his timid personality. She was flexible with our last minute scheduling needs because we didn't even think that we were going to need doggy daycare while on vacation. I definitely recommend her!”

“Just passing through and needed to leave Tobi somewhere safe for part of the day. Francie was great, exceeded expectations. Tobi loved playing with the other dt. This was our first Rover experience, but we'll be doing it again as we continue our travels.”

“Judith was amazing and communicated well throughout the entire process. We felt our dog was in great hands with her and know he was super spoiled. She went above and beyond and sent us daily photo and text updates. We will definitely be booking with Judith again in the future! Highly recommend.”

I have loved, snuggled, and pet animals around the world and while I’m back on land I would love the opportunity to give your pets the same attention! I’ve had dogs my whole life and grew up in a home full of furry friends. My parents volunteer with Duo Dogs, so our house has always been a revolving door of puppies and big dogs alike. Two of our English Labs are especially sensitive to fireworks and thunderstorms, so I’m no stranger to calming anxious pups with patience, love, and a gentle hand. Whether it’s a walk around the block, a game of fetch, some cozy snuggle time, or maybe it’s your turn to get out and see the world, I’m here to keep your pets happy and cared for while you’re away. My schedule is wide open during my time home-so don’t hesitate to reach out and let’s set something up! Since I am taking a land break, my schedule is very open! I am flexible, being able to provide just about any kind of care for your pet and open communication for you!
