About: I have 10+ years of experience with animals. Growing up by a dirt road in Alabama ,I always made sure to care for and find homes for them while also having our own, I’ve taken college corses on training dogs although didn’t finish due to becoming a mother. We have a large backyard fenced, covered& partly enclosed patio & love to give. Animals are truly a wonderful being to have around and I want to teach my children the importance of them. I’ve watched big dogs & small dogs although starting off with this app I’m looking to watch small dogs. I take my oldest son to library, we can spend anywhere between 1-4 hours there & I pick up my youngest from his program at 3pm (right down the road) other than weekly/biweekly grocery/shopping trips, I’m at the house. We treat your dog like our family so that means ofc they are allowed on the couch and we have a fenced in back yard & covered patio while we love to spend time outside so you can be assured majority of the time we will be right there beside em. I do have a cat who spends majority of the time in our bedroom other than eating.

About: Thats what they always ask. Why aren’t you a better cat? I’ve only own my giant orange Galileo for his 14 years but he has taught me so much more than every other critter I have had the pleasure of meeting. Cats are absolutely the master of their own worlds. Sometimes that’s glued right to your side and sometimes that’s in a far-away cat tree but they are their own beings who make their own decisions. I am very grateful to have had every experience I’ve gotten with every cat I’ve met. Including, a 19yo in her final months, a few kittens just learning how to get around in the world, and the most bonkers critters just having a grand ole time making chaos. Not only will you teach me about your cat but your cat will teach me about how to enter their environment. I promise to learn, listen, and complete any ritual that’s needed before dinner is served.
About: I volunteer at the APA animal shelter where I walk and play with all types of dogs. I have also taken care of a wide variety of animals including lizards, fish, kittens (2 weeks old), puppies, and turtles! About: I work at Metro East Humane Society and have handled both puppies and adult dogs of all sizes. I love all types of dogs and love working with them especially the shy ones! I currently work part time so I am available most of the time when I’m not working. I also have two of my own dogs and make sure I’m up early! I have been walking all types of dogs for the past year at the humane society, even the leash pullers and reactive dogs deserve to have their time outside. I have also learned to properly medicate dogs so if medications need to be given I can handle that as well.

I’m attentive, patient, and genuinely enjoy spending time with dogs, making sure they feel safe, happy, and cared for. I’m currently working part-time but am available most days during the week and can be flexible with scheduling as needed for pet care and walks. I prioritize safety and trust in every visit. I follow owner instructions closely, keep dogs on-leash during walks, avoid unsafe situations, and ensure pets are never left unattended. In a client’s home, I respect their space, maintain cleanliness, and make sure pets are comfortable, secure, and cared for the entire time.
About: Although I am new to rover, I have always grown up with a dog in my house and have always been the first to offer my friends help with caring for their dogs whether it’s watching them for a week or just taking them for a walk while my friends are busy! I have experience with both puppies and older dogs. While I am in St Louis over the summer I have a very empty schedule, other than early mornings, so I will have high availability to come and check on your pet throughout the day! I care for pets in the same way that I would want my dog to be cared for! I love spending time with animals so I will always take time to play with them, take long walks, cuddle, etc.

As for my cat, she’s not a fan of the outdoors, but I still make sure she gets enrichment and movement by taking her on walks when she’s in the mood. I’m all about giving pets what they need to feel happy, safe, and comfortable.

“Robert did an excellent job taking care of our dog that by the time I went to pick him up, he decided that he wants to continue to starly on the couch with his friend. I had to coax off the couch so that we could get going home since it was late when I picked up him. I would recommend him for anyone who needs their furrikids to be taken care in there absence.”
