She sent us daily pictures with text updates as to how our dog was doing which put our minds at ease. From the time we met her we could just tell how much she loved animals. The most important thing is we are pretty sure that our dog enjoyed his stay. He did not come home stressed out as he has in the past from staying at other boarders. I needed last minute care due to a medical emergency, and she not only accommodated my need with less than 18 hours notice, but she did so with a level of care for my kitties that I have never experienced before. Within 15 minutes of her arrival, I had photos and videos of all of my babies (which is no small feat in itself), and she continued to provide multiple updates, photos, and videos. She was so so so loving and gentle with my kitties, stayed with them all day and overnight, and gave me the comfort and reassurance I was desperately needing. About: I have three dogs, two wonderful twin golden retrievers that are 5 years old. They are my whole world and so are my sister and brother’s dogs/cats! My sister has been doing rover in KC for over 7 years so it’s been a great way to experience rover and the necessities for all kinds of pets. Additionally, I’ve been a volunteer at Unchained Melodies puppy nursery and KC Pet Project for the last few years <3 I’m currently a post-graduate student preparing for medical school here in a year so I have a lot of time for longer term pups. I’m preparing for work part-time as well in the fall but I have a very open and flexible schedule. I have helped dog sit for years now and of course I’ve taken care of my own dogs since they were just babies. About: I have had pets all my life from dogs and cats to gerbils, hamsters and fish. Even as a young child I was primarily responsible for most of the routine daily pet care. I'm a trained CNA with applicable caregiving skills. I also have extensive experience as a shelter volunteer having walked the dog and played with them as well as socializing the cats. I'm currently self employed as a home care aide and wish to take care of animals in between assignments or during days off. I do not have any responsibilities that would interfere with me taking care of your fur babies. I do not have a fenced in yard but I do have a yard stake. I live in a townhouse with an open grass backyard. I regularly take my dog to The Liberty, MO Stockdale dog park and can take yours there too if that's your preference. If you wish I can walk your dog as many times per day as you prefer. My neighborhood has paved sidewalks and walking paths that I routinely use to walk my dog daily. I have one cat and one dog and each get along with other cats and dogs very well but should there be any unforeseen issue, I can put your pet in my spare bedroom. I also own a wire dog crate for large dogs. I can crate your pet in your home or my home if you wish me to. I will take care of him or her in whichever way you prefer. I do not crate my dog but I did as a puppy to facilitate his potty training. My dog sleeps with me at night as does my cat sometimes. Both are friendly and well socialized but again, I can put either in a spare room or your pet if necessary. Both my pets are up to date on their vaccinations and they get a monthly pill for flea and tick prevention. I can do everything from long or short walks, taking them outside for potty breaks, administering food or medicine, playtime, etc.

About: I was a veterinary assistant for 6 years and I have lots of experience caring for dogs as well as cats. I have done pet sitting, dog walking, grooming . . . I am now a stay-at-home mom with two kids we live on a farm so we wake up early and go to bed late. That leaves us with lots of time to care for our animals. We love them and we give them the best care possible! I do have a fenced yard that is 2 acres so dogs have plenty of room to run but since I have cattle panel fencing, small dogs would be able to get through. Therefore I watch them closer and have runs outside also, we are not near any highways and live on a private road.

Me and my boyfriend both work full time jobs so your pets will be alone for a few hours depending on your services you schedule with me. There is also a vet office 5 minutes down the road that I take my animals to so if there ever is an emergency I will go straight there!

About: Good afternoon everyone, my name is Alayna and I’ve been working with animals for over 10 years In many different fields even on a farm. I have experience with a variety of animals including, snakes, lizards/ geckos, fish, guinea pigs, hamsters, horses, chickens, cats and dogs. I work at a vet office and am very familiar with older pets as well as knowing how to do nail trims and baths. A couple good reasons I stand out from everyone else is that I have experience administering medicine to animals, especially cats, because I’ve been fostering them for about 5 years and I also worked at a vet hospital as a kennel attendant meaning I’ve been around all sizes of dogs plus I’m pretty great at giving baths. Another reason is that I’ve actually owned all the animals I have listed here so I have plenty of experience. My schedule is a bit complicated working full time as a vet assistant. I’m always available Friday-Saturday but other days is a bit difficult. Regardless though I’ll always find time the take care of your fur baby needs. Rather it’s a last minute trip your going on or a family emergency, your pets health and well-being is safe with me! When it comes to animal safety I’m all ears, especially when there’s more then one animal lose in the house. I take advice from the owners on how they’d like the animal to be kept such as if they wish to keep their pet in a room instead of free roam. When taking the animal outside, I will always be outside with them so no accidents are to happen. Before leaving the house, I always make sure to pick up or move anything the animal could reach they aren’t suppose to have and put it in a high or closed off area.

About: I have grown up loving animals and taking care of family pets, and my own pets. I have dog sat for friends on occasion. I have a big heart and love to care for little fur babies. I personally have 2 dogs and 3 cats and 3 lizards, and my family just keeps growing. I have open availability and can come and care for your animals at most times! My schedule is currently open for boarding, sitting, walking and drop ins. I unfortunately will only board other males under certain circumstances. Our male dog gets a little territorial when it comes to males but not with females. But, still reach out and we can talk about it! My husband and I moved into a house recently with a large backyard which our dogs are in love with. We take our dogs on walks every day and love to play and engage with them.
About: I’m an active adventurous person ready to play with the dogs or take them on walks. I have helped family, friends and neighbors watch their dogs, whether it be just a check in or a week at a time! I work as a phlebotomist in my other times, help family and create crafts for my page! Seeing as I have a cat of my own, I make sure to put her into my daily schedule and make time for her to play with her and her as well as make sure her litter stays clean and her food and water bowl stay full! My cat is an indoor cat. Although she is aloof, she still loves to come cuddle and I always make sure that her food and water bowls are full, her litter is clean and her medicine is taken
About: I am a Registered Veterinarian Technician at an emergency clinic. I have extended experience with animal care and am very knowledgeable in veterinary medicine. I am CPR certified and also a certified Fear free professional as well as Feline Friendly Certified. I will be sure to never make your pets feel uncomfortable and will take my time gaining their trust. I currently work Wednesday-Saturday 5pm-2am. I will follow all instructions for the care of your animals, I believe it is important to maintain their routine and confort. I will love them like they are my own. I am comfortable with any age of animal, medication administration's, and any species. Animal care is my passion, hobby and love. I am available all day and allnight being gone only from 5pm-2am Wednesday-Saturday. If theres a specific feeding, or walking schedule: I will follow it as long as I am not at work. Routine is important to limit stress of our beloved pets. I will stick to their routine and ensure they are comfortable and relaxed. I respect your home and will clean up any messes made. I will make the bed if I stay overnight, keep dishes clean, pick up toys, and sweep/vacuum. I make sure your pets environment is comfortable for them.

She sent us daily pictures with text updates as to how our dog was doing which put our minds at ease. From the time we met her we could just tell how much she loved animals. The most important thing is we are pretty sure that our dog enjoyed his stay. He did not come home stressed out as he has in the past from staying at other boarders. We think he almost misses playing and interacting with Cathy's other dog Maddie and the kids. We would and plan on using Cathy again in the future and would certainly recommend her to anyone.”
