About: Hi I’m Christina! I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and currently still working in a clinic and I pet sit all the time for friends, family and church fam! I’ve decided to move on up and join rover to expand my love and care for animals. I’m trained in dog/cat handing, emergency, body language and administering medication. I just love what I do! “Hire this woman! I needed to find a pet sitter for a week very last minute and I found Brittany. I’ve never left my cat Dutch with anyone so I was definitely stressed. But I knew within minutes of meeting Bri I had chosen the right person. My cat is very shy but she warmed right up to Bri. The pics and vids I got during my time away showed how happy Dutch was with her sitter. I was surprised at how well it went. She was playing and getting brushed and petted and so obviously calm and content even though she was alone for the first time and couldn’t go outside. Bri also did thoughtful things like get my mail and take out my trash. She made me feel comfortable leaving my home as well as my baby cat. She was a great communicator throughout my time away with good updates. She made it much easier to enjoy myself and not worry about my baby. It was obvious Dutch had been well cared for when I got home. She did not seem at all traumatized by being suddenly left alone so long for the first time, with strangers and stuck inside. About: I’ll start with my experience, I have worked at a veterinary hospital, groomers, and doggy daycare! Currently working at a pet urgent care too so my hours may not work with you pets schedules. I know how to do basic first aid, any grooming, care for all types of animals, and I can notice different types of behavior changes. I will treat your lovely babies like they are my own. About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

About: No pets over 20 Ibs as my space is not big enough please. I worked with my step mom since 13 with her dog/cat grooming company. Therefore i am very versed with many different types of companions. I have also had many dogs and cats throughout my years. I hope to give any companion the best time. I am a working mom of a 4 year old and 3 year old. They are both very respectful and gentle with pets. We have a five year old cat, but he has lived with both cats and dogs. My cat does get along with both. Since I do work full time, I wont personally be home all the time with the pets. I will take the dogs for walks around my neighborhood, and any potty breaks/walks I will be sure they are leashed when outside. As for cats i do have a smart litter box so it stays very sanitized and it tracks potty time to make sure everything is looking good with cats! I have a huge cat tree. “Meagan is amazing. We have a 14 year old German Shepherd Red Heeler mix who is not very friendly to new people and is very anxious. Our daughter mover to Kansas City so we no longer have someone to watch Chevy when we need to go out of town. We have two trips coming up so I thought I better start getting someone over here to get to know Chevy and she know them. At the meet and greet I told Meagan how Chevy was and she immediately got down to Chevy's level and just talked to her, I Gove Meagan some treats and after a while and some patience on Meagans part Chevy finally started taking treats from her. ( there may have been a couple of warning nips at Meagans fingers) The first day she came to walk Chevy she was the same way, very patient with Chevy, she gave her some treats and after a few barks she was all good. She was even better the second walk. I really appreciate Meagans patience with Chevy and that she understands her anxiety. I feel confident that Meagan will take good care of Chevy when we need to go out of town.”
About: All my life, I have bonded with both dogs and cats, and animals in general. I have been told that I have an ability to connect with any animal effortlessly. While I have been dog-sitting for friends, family, and others for about four years, I also have worked as a Caregiver at CARE STL, an animal shelter in St. Louis. During my time at CARE, I fed, walked, played, and formed connections with over 100 dogs, as well as cats and other animals. After that, I started working as a server/bartender at Bar-K, to make money while still working in an animal-friendly environment. About: Hello! I'm Karissa, and I've been an animal lover ever since I was a little girl. Growing up, my parents ran a pet shop, so I had the pleasure of being surrounded by all sorts of critters. Because of this upbringing, I've had the joy of caring for a wide range of animals, getting to know their unique needs and keeping them healthy and happy. In my own little family, we currently have three sweet cats and a playful puppy who's just six months old. We live in the lovely countryside near Festus, with a whole acre of land securely fenced for our furry pals to explore. We even have a pool, and you can trust us when we say we take pool safety seriously! We love a good game of fetch or tug of war and have been really getting into positive reinforcement training. Our puppy is even learning how to use buttons to "speak". :) I've got a soft spot for every cat and dog out there, and I'd be thrilled to look after your precious babies whenever you need a hand. About: Professionally I have pet care experience for 4 years. I worked at a Pet Resort in the boarding department! I feed them, give them medications (including shots), walk them, play with them, and much more! I have 2 dogs of my own that I take care of. About: i’ve been taking care of friends, family, and neighbors fur babies for the past nine years of my life, and I absolutely love every single one of them. I love all of them all sizes and breeds it does not matter to me. I worked at a dog daycare/boarding facility for five years. I also have previous training experience working with young puppies so i’m able to work with them as well. :) I’m working currently part-time and only have classes a couple days a week for an hour. I’m very flexible and available on an as needed basis for you and your fur babies! Safety is my number one priority. I will never put your fur babies in harms way or put them in uncomfortable situations. I treat each pup as if they were my own. I’m very big on schedules/routine. For drop-in visits, I focus on sticking to your pet's normal routine, feeding times, potty breaks, medication if needed so there's as little disruption to their day as possible. I like to spend quality time with each pet, whether that's a walk, active playtime, or just calm companionship, depending on what they enjoy most. I always keep a close eye on their environment to make sure everything is safe and secure, and I treat every home and every pet with the same care and respect I'd want for my own. Communication is important to me too so I'll keep you updated with photos or messages during visits so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.
About: I used to pet-sit. Worked at a day-care a while ago. I've worked and interacted with all types of dogs. I enjoy what I do. I actually get really excited when working with dogs. I know they're a lot to handle sometimes but I feel like they're great fun to work with and they always make me feel better. My favorite types of dogs include Boxers, Miniature Schnauzers, Miniature Pinschers. I like all dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am really into playing fetch with dogs. I also don't mind playing with rope toys. They might tear my arms off but hey! It builds character! I'm very easy-going and I feel like with dogs you have to have a great sense of humor and enjoy the trade in order to work with them. I hope you consider me for some of your services. She's a blue tortoise cat with these little white Mitten paws. My father has a black Maltese poodle named Beau... The sweetest dog in the world. I used to live with him and we were the best of friends. We still are. But we just don't see each other as much. That's who you see me with in my photos. I have pretty much open availability. I am comfortable doing overnight visits and morning/afternoon/evening walks. I'm currently in the process of trying to build clientele so I'm more flexible now than I might be in the future. But my long-term goal is to make this a full time 8 hour day. The 8-hour schedule block will entirely depend upon demand though. Whether it's broken up into different times of the day with a break in between or a full 8 hours non-stop, entirely depends upon when clients need availability. The number one most important thing about pet care is communication though. Between the owner and me. The sooner we know things, the better. Your pet's safety, comfort, and routine are always my top priorities. I currently provide care exclusively in my clients' homes because I believe most pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. Staying in their home helps keep their routine consistent, reduces stress, and allows me to focus entirely on giving them the attention, affection, exercise, and companionship they deserve. I'll also treat your home with the same respect and care I would my own. Whenever possible, I love to schedule a meet-and-greet before the booking begins. It's a great opportunity for us to get to know each other, for your pet to become comfortable with me, and for me to learn about their personality, routines, favorite activities, quirks, medications, and anything else that helps me provide the best possible care. I firmly believe that in pet care, overcommunicating is always better than undercommunicating. I'd much rather ask one extra question than make an assumption, and you can expect prompt responses, regular photo and video updates, and complete transparency throughout your time away. While I would be comfortable offering boarding in the future, I currently choose not to because I share my home with a beloved cat. My decision isn't out of concern for her behavior—it's simply because I don't want to bring unfamiliar dogs into her space. By focusing exclusively on house sitting, I can give your pets individualized care in the environment where they feel safest and most at ease, while ensuring every animal in my care is comfortable, secure, and happy.
About: I grew up around dogs working at a grooming shop and love animals! My children are older. They are 21 and 18 and loves animals as well! I do wfh. I’m available during the week and weekends as well. I do have a Pom-a-Poo, Brooklyn and a cat, Milo. They are sweet and loving! I enjoy on nice days taking dogs to the dog park, walks on trails, or through my neighborhood. I do not have a fenced in yard but will take them outside on a leash frequently. I have dog sat for friends and family numerous of times so thought I’d expand and help other people so they feel like their beloved animal is taken care of and in good hands while they are away! I have plenty of time to play with your pups and available pretty much 7 days a week! During the day someone is generally always home. I have a fenced in yard. I also ask if your dog is crated to bring your crate as well. I feed them on the schedule you provide and walks as well I am currently working from home and available to maintain any schedule or routine as needed to ensure dog/puppy day to day in minimally disrupted I have a fenced in yard and make sure I do not leave out items they can get into or harmful to ensure their safety
About: I have owned a few dogs, and have watched over many more! I love dogs and am looking forward to meeting new dogs of all shapes and sizes. I am currently working a part time job that is flexible. I am willing to do all tasks assigned from walking to feeding to bathing. I am friendly but will be serious when needed to properly care for the dog. Your dog will always be the top priority. I will follow all instructions left by the owner, while also having fun your dog. I can take them on walks, to the park, and even swimming! I have a car to get whenever I need to be and I am always on time. About: I am a dog mom and also have had chickens,turkeys, a ferret and bunnies. I was a zookeeper for almost 10 years. I recently graduated with my PhD in biology and my focus is on river ecology. I love animals and would love spending time with your fur baby! My schedule is flexible during the summer/currently. I have the ability to fit plenty of walks and play time in with your pet and I look forward to it! Depending on your pups ability I will take them for as long or short of walks as needed. If there are parks nearby I would love to venture to those.

About: I’ve had dogs since I was born and love seeing their joy when they see me walk in the door! I am very good with anxious dogs as I currently have a shy and anxious pup. He takes medications so I am also familiar with administer medications to pups should that be needed! I will be working as a pharmacy resident and I’m looking to make some extra cash doing something I love. I’d love to work more time into being outside and what better way to get outside than with pets! In my home I have a fenced in yard so my pup and I can play outside and he can run free. While fenced yards are great, enrichment outside the home is also very valuable so walks are also a staple!
About: I’ve taken care of my dogs in my home since I was around 13. A lot of neighbors rely on me to watch their dogs or even stay the night. I have raised many puppies throughout my life. I am currently working part-time. I work Monday, Friday, and Saturday nights. I also am in school from 8-2:40 throughout the week. Other than that I am available a lot!! I take my dogs out on leashes. If there is a fence able for the dogs to go out, I will let them out but stay out there with them.

About: Hi I’m Christina! I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and currently still working in a clinic and I pet sit all the time for friends, family and church fam! I’ve decided to move on up and join rover to expand my love and care for animals. I’m trained in dog/cat handing, emergency, body language and administering medication. I just love what I do! Tour anytime! I’m allowed to bring my animals to work and they absolutely love it! Always hands on. My yard is very large and it works great for running and playtime. My neighbor dogs are so sweet! My pets are crate trained. I also have other large crates and the space! Free range is ok with me! I carry potty pads and diapers for male dogs just in case. I have a little senior Yorkie who needs them too.

About: I have had a dog almost every year of my life and I have worked in an animal hospital for 8 years. I have taken care of dogs of all sizes from 6lb yorkies to 85lb goldens! I am a retired individual who loves hanging out with my family and taking care of dogs. I clean houses during the week but that provides me a very flexible schedule as it is on my time. As I am a trusted individual to clean other's houses, I know how to be respectful of other's spaces and leave them in a better condition than I arrive. My house is always picked up so no worries of dogs eating small toys or items that could harm them.
