She was great in keeping us informed on how he was doing and sent pictures. She, along with her spouse, clearly enjoy dogs and dog boarding. We picked up a happy and content dog, and we could tell he enjoyed being there. They have a great place with a fenced-in yard, and he is treated just like one of the family, which our dog loves. About: I work from home. I have a small backyard and a park nearby with a walking path. I have 3 children who are good around pets. We have one dog of our own who is a 70lb, 12 year old female. My experience comes from my own pets and checking on friend’s pets while they are away. I am available in the mornings before work, can be flexible about lunch and breaks to leave and check on pets and end my work day at 5 (Mon-Fri). If I go into work, it is often on a Wednesday and my parents come check on my dog while I am away for the day. My home: I have a fenced yard, 1 older dog, and gates in the house to keep the dogs on the main floor. I do not have a crate or dog toys. My dog prefers long walks, scratches and a good nap. My dog is a large poodle breed.
“Incredibly accommodating, as Mayo was not. David worked around our ever changing and opaque interactions with Mayo. The care was so attentive I am not sure our pooch was ready to leave. We have never boarded our (abused) rescue dog and David’s care made this part of our Rochester experience absolutely calming and care free. About: Relocated here from Iowa. Enjoy working with different dogs. Pet lover. I completed 6 months of Veterinarian Assistant classes online. Life happened and I had to take a pause. But I am thinking about going back and finish obtaining my associates degree in the field. About: I have been doing pet sitting since I was a little kid in elementary school. Started mostly with cats before moving onto dogs as I got older. The last time I watched over dogs was just last fall for my friends shelties. I've owned several rodents over the years as well and currently babysit my bunny nieces and nephews when needed. Gerbils and hamsters are my expertise but can work with guinea pigs, rats, mice, ferrets, chinchillas, degus, or sugar gliders if an instruction list is given. My family has been adopting senior dogs since 2011 so I'm extremely aware of what needs to be done in their twilight years. Currently live with a sassy cocker spaniel named Poppy. I worked at a vets office for 8 years and am trained in pet first aid and CPR. I'm currently available all days of the week but that may change soon as I am looking for different employment as well. Will keep everyone posted with that. I can stay in the home or visit a few times a day, doesn't really matter to me. As long as there are instructions, I can make it work.

About: I have cared for everything from puppies to senior dogs as well as cats, small mammals (guinea pigs, hamsters, etc), and lizards. Each animal has such personality that I am excited to learn. During the school year (September-May) I am available evenings and weekends. During the summer (June-august) I have way more flexibility and can work with your needs. I unfortunately cannot take care of any fury animals in my home due to my family members allergies. However, I will follow whatever guidelines you may have.

Tuesday is the exception during the week and I should have free time to take care of any pet that may need it.
