About: I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.
About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. Pet care is about the well-being of the animal as a whole... starting with nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation and being active. I have 3 dogs of my own that I work with every day. In this, I also have experience crate, house, and yard training! Though I’m currently at college, I have quite a few breaks during the day in which I could check in on any pets and make sure they are happy, heathy, fed, and don’t need to use the restroom. I have all nights and most weekends free, and have flexible hours during most of the week. I am currently in between jobs, and my kiddos go to daycare from 7am-5pm M-F, so I am available to help between those times, or overnights at your house on Fridays and Saturdays. I could be purr-suaded to do extended overnight stays at my house if your feline is cat, dog, and young child friendly. If I am caring in my home, I have 3 cats-all fixed- a special needs male dog who is NOT fixed due to medical reasons, and two kids under the age of 5. If you choose to keep your pet at my home, they need to be able to get along with them or be kept in a separate room. If you have a female dog, they would need to be fixed with proof of spay. My special needs dog has no business procreating! I have a large home and a decent sized yard with a tie-out cable so that your pet can explore my whole backyard safely without fear of taking off. I also have a screened in porch that I often let the cats roam in during the nicer months. I have a Honda CR-V, so I can keep decently large dogs in the car as well for transport or in case of emergency. If I am caring for your pet in your home, I will cuddle, play, exercise, and feed & water them to their hearts content. I will ask however for an extra fee to pick up any dog poo or clean litter boxes.

About: I love working with dogs. I have sat for a wide range of dogs sizing from a brussels griffen (14-15 lbs) to southern bloodhounds and black labs. Have given basic medication (a probiotic for the southern bloodhound), fed and walked dogs. I have also walked both together, so I am not against having 2 dogs at once. I have also used a couple different forms of restraints, such as gentle leaders, normal neck collars and shock collars while on walks to keep dogs under control as per owners instructions. One of the dogs I sit on a regular basis is an aging almost 10 year old southern bloodhound. I also have taken care of a shiba inu at weeks at a time, giving her longer 3-4 mile walks. My availability tends to lie in afternoons, evenings and some weekend availability as I have a 40 hour a week job. Generally what dog owners will like about my care is when I am given specific instruction, I will follow their instruction word for word, to keep their dog happy and healthy.
