About: I’ve had dogs of my own over the years and have raised them from puppies, so I’m very familiar with all stages of a dog’s life from training and high-energy puppy behavior to the needs of adult and senior dogs. I’ve also personally fostered two daschund dogs for several years while a friend went through a difficult transition, caring for them full-time until she was able to find pet-friendly housing. That experience really deepened my understanding of long-term, committed pet care. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all sizes and breeds from larger dogs like Boxers to small breeds like Boston Terriers, Dachshunds, and Yorkies. I truly love them all and adjust my care based on each dog’s personality, energy level, and needs. About: When I was around 5 years old, apparently I would find pictures in books or on my mom’s desktop of cats and would BEG my parents for a cat. All I did all day was look at pictures of cats, but then my dad brought home Rambo. He is my 13 year old baby who I have absolutely adored ever since I first saw him. I’ve been a cat person all my life. Since I was little, the first thing I would do at someone’s house I hadn’t been to before was to ask if there were any cats around—I haven’t changed… I feel like I can get cats to like me, even if their owner says they’re mean, I don’t believe in that. I think that like any living being, trust needs to be earned, and for some of these beings it just takes a bit longer to learn how to warm up to others. I know mostly how cats operate and I know how to care for them and treat them based on their different personalities.

About: I have fostered both dogs and cats in the past. From childhood to the present day, a home is not complete without some form of animal companion. I tend to be an early riser and am very flexible. Cleaning up after myself as well as your pets is my specialty. I enjoy camping and antiquing when there’s no critters to hang out with. I am familiar with many types of leash and collar. I prefer to keep a dog heeled on most of the walk, letting them run and play when it’s appropriate to do so. About: Dogs have been my passion since my earliest memories. When I was a young girl, I was always training my family and friends dogs. I also would take care of my friends dogs when needed. I started to get involved with dog sports around the age of 12. In addition to this, I trained my dog to be a therapy dog. When I was 16 I started to volunteer at the Animal Humane Society in Golden Valley for a few years before going to college. I graduated from the University of Minnesota- Twin Cities with a degree in Communications and a minor in Leadership. It was during this time when I stumbled into working for Invisible Fence as a dog trainer. I found my true passion of training dogs through this. I have spent countless hours learning through hands on experience, shadowing other trainers, signing up for seminars/conferences and taking courses through a Pet Professional Program. In addition to this, I read countless books, listened to professional dog trainer podcasts, and watched videos. Now I run my own dog training business called Tator's Training. Pet care is about the well-being of the animal as a whole... starting with nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation and being active. I have 3 dogs of my own that I work with every day. I target each category (nutrition, enrichment, mental stimulation, physical activity) to make sure their needs are met. I work with dogs daily and have a flexible schedule throughout the week. Every dog is treated like my own. I would never put an animal in a situation that isn't environmentally safe for them or puts them at risk. About: Hi everyone my name is Alicia. I have always been an animal lover since i can remember. I have grown up around dogs. I have personally owned both cats and dogs. My family is also animal lovers. I have 3 daughters 14, 11, and 5. We love going for walks in the summer as a family. Your puppy/dog will have the best visit ever with myself and my family and will love all the attention from the kids!! We are always home on the weekends too so I'm always available even with short notice :) hope to hear from you soon!!!! And thank you for giving the opportunity to watch your four legged kids!! I am a stay at home mom so I have fairly open availability during the week and on the weekends. I do make my own work schedule so I can easily fit clients in. I am located in a neighborhood with little traffic so I can take your fur baby(s) out for walks around the neighborhood. Unfortunately at this time my yard is not fenced but they would never be left unsupervised outside.
About: I work with all different kinds of dogs anything from puppies to senior dogs. I have token puppy training classes and know the basics and I have cared for meny senior dogs. Helping with stairs and special diet. I have worked with animals that have diabetes and skin conditions. I offer a team of people me and my Boyfriend work together to offer the best dog care. My daughter even helps out where she can. Our goal is to make sure your dogs are getting the best care we can officer so you don't have to worry why you are away I fall the somethings you do if you kennel them to baby gates you have up around the house. A lifetime of caring for, interacting with and learning about animals has given me the skills to keep dogs safe, healthy, engaged, and of course, happy! I feel a special connection with dogs that are unsure and love using my knowledge of them to help them come out of their shell. I have worked with hundreds of dogs in veterinary, rescue, boarding and grooming settings. I have attained a CGC with two dogs and done some agility. But mostly I love just being with dogs, mine and any I come across, walking, playing, snuggling, swimming, and anything that brings that smile to their face and that sparkle to their eye. About: I have been around pets my entire life! Dogs, cats and birds! I unfortunately just had to put my dog down and I miss him everyday! I live in Waverly. Every animal has different needs, so I will do my best to figure out what sleeping arrangements make them the most comfortable during their stay (I have kennels of every size so people do not need to bring theirs back and forth unless they prefer to). I’m well versed in methods of calming for pets that might be nervous. I do have a 6 month old infant at home who is very used to dogs, but any pets coming in to my home would need to be safe and comfortable around her.

About: Hi, I have had a dog or two in my household my whole life, so I have grown up watching after pets. Also, the past couple years I have gotten into watching my friend's or family's pets if they are ever out of town or just need a sitter. Most of my pets have been playful so I have experience keeping them busy and playing with them. My mom and I like to go on walks a lot and sometimes we bring my dog along.
