“Laura always has great communication, and we love getting updates about how the visit/stay is going. This time, our pup stayed the night. We don’t have to board him often, so we’re normally very anxious about it. But we felt very comfortable leaving him over night with Laura & Nathan. We know he was well taken care of care of, got lots of play time, and was treated like family.”
“I would definitely book with Nicole again! This was my first time using Rover, and I was a little nervous at first. Okay, maybe a lot nervous, haha. Drop off and pick up were a breeze. My dog got to meet some new friends and go to the dog park. Nicole was very responsive and sent great updates and pics! It was such a relief knowing he was happy and safe. He even got to sleep on the bed.”
“Heather is amazing! She’s so kind and always goes above and beyond for my dog, Reka. She even carved a pumpkin for her this time! I really appreciate the regular updates and photos, and Reka gets multiple walks every day. Her sons also play with Reka, which she absolutely loves. Always a great experience with Heather — highly recommend!”
“Patty was really kind and patient while watching my nervous dog for a week. She sent updates and photos and after a couple days my pup was playing fetch with her in the yard. She sent us home with a bag of treats my dog really liked while staying there. Thanks Patty!”

“Jamie was above and beyond an excellent sitter for our Heidi while we were on vacation! While our dog is a very sweet girl, she has some things going on as a puppy that can make her a handful - Jamie cared for her with grace and ease! Great communication and easy to book with. The only downside: we can’t bring her back to Rochester with us to use as our regular sitter!!”
“Shiloh and her family took such great care of Pico and Maggie so we could enjoy the weekend with extended family and friends as we celebrated graduation. Thanks for the kind and excellent care.”
“Max had a great time at Carley and Ferris"s and we felt so comfortable on our vacation knowing that he was in great hands and being well taken care of. This was Max's first time boarding and we were nervous but meeting Carley and her pets at a meet and greet prior to our trip definitely put our concerns at ease. We knew he would be well taken care of. Thanks to the both of you for taking such good care of Max. We would definitely love to have you watch him again the next time we need a sitter.”
“Christina is INCREDIBLE, I have a sensitive older Husky, and staying with Christina was like summer camp for him. She frequently send photos and videos and is very responsive and accommodating. 11/10 experience!”
“Scout had a wonderful stay with Marly! She is a senior canine-citizen and needs a few extra potty breaks and TLC and she got exactly what she needed at Marly's house. Thanks, Marly!”
“Emily was wonderful throughout the whole experience. She invited us to her home to see how my dog would be before booking the stay. Throughout my dog's stay she sent pictures and updates on how he was doing. She was also very understanding of my flight issues I had and was very flexible. I'd recommend her to everyone.”
About: With over 20 years of experience as a dog owner and lover, I provide a caring, home-based environment for dogs of all sizes. I work primarily from home, have two children, and a large, fenced yard for plenty of outdoor time and walks. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and part of the family while you're away. I look forward to meeting you and your doggos! Working primarily from home with a flexible schedule allows me to provide plenty of attention, companionship, playtime, walks, and outdoor fun throughout the day. We currently do not have any pets of our own, which makes our home a great fit for dogs who prefer a quieter environment or do best as the only pet. I'm available most weekdays and weekends and would love to learn about your dog's unique routine, personality, and needs. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and loving home where your furry family member feels happy, relaxed, and cared for while you're away. I understand that pets are family, which is why I treat every dog in my care like one of my own. With plenty of experience hosting friends' dogs, I strive to provide a safe, loving, and stress-free environment where your pup can relax, play, and feel at home.
“We boarded our dog Astro with Kaylee for two weeks in October. She took excellent care of him, and he clearly was fond of Kaylee and David, and felt very comfortable staying with them. Kaylee texted me photos of Astro daily, which made my separation anxiety a little easier to handle! I would highly recommend Kaylee as a caretaker for your pooch.”
“We could not be happier with the care Casey takes in caring for our dog when we are away. I’m so glad we found him on Rover.com. The pics and videos he sends reassures us our dog is more than happy to be playing with new friends and new surroundings.”
“Amber was fantastic. Prior to our scheduled overnight amber spent time getting to know Otis, my super high energy, sort of anxious, golden retriever puppy. Amber immediately made a connection with Otis, I knew Otis would be in good, experienced hands.”

About: Hi there! I am an animal care specialist here in Duluth with a degree in Zoo & Conservation Science. Most importantly, I absolutely love ALL animals! I have over a decade of experience caring for my own pets at home including dogs, cats, and some farm animals! I also have 5 years of professional animal care experience in college and beyond. I am experienced at caring for dogs of all ages, breeds, and energy levels. Handling more than one dog on walks or sittings is also easy peasy! My specialized training enables me to safely administer medicine and I have an eagle eye when it comes to monitoring health issues. Pets are an important part of the family and I do not take that lightly! I am prepared to handle any weather Duluth throws my way! With my skills reading animal emotions/behavior combined with my genuine love for animals, you can know your pet will have a FURTASTIC time with me! I work full time (Thursday-Monday) but I’m happy to stop by for quick visits on my lunch break if necessary! I have 2 consecutive days off (Tuesday & Wednesday) if your pet needs more attentive care. I am very comfortable crating, putting on leashes/harnesses, feeding/watering, medicating, and whatever else is needed to care for your pet. I am renting so I cannot care for pets in my own home unfortunately.
“Christina is wonderful with animals and very professional. She took care of my two cats and hamster while we were on vacation. She was reliable and kept me informed about the status of my animals. She communicates very well. I already booked our next vacation with Christina watching our pets. I recommend her 100%!”
“Mason was so patient and adaptable when meeting our pets! He exudes "animal person," letting them lead as they got to know him, and speaks with the kindest, calmest voice. We look forward to having him back often.”

“Amber was so beyond warm and accommodating when boarding my cat, Bonzo! She has a dedicated “catio” space as well as a fenced in backyard that my cat greatly enjoyed! Amber sent me photos and text updates frequently throughout my cats stay with her, which was a great comfort to me, and her add on pick up and drop off service was extremely convenient and helpful for me! I recommend Amber to anyone who needs any pet care (especially those who have cats who hate being left alone like me lol) and will absolutely be needing her services again in the future!”
“Adriana took very good care of our pets and they loved spending time and playing with her! She communicated with us very well and worked with us if we need to modify the schedule. I would definitely recommend her services.!”
“Excellent service, Sav sent updates for Mimmie and was precise and punctual and cordial - was timely in response and flexible.. was very kind and gentle to Mimmie : will definitely use her service again. one of the best we ever had on Rover as we have used the service many times for vacation. Randy A.”
“Sabrina and her daughter did such a wonderful job! We were so happy to get daily updates on our cats during the drop in visits, and are very thankful for how attentive and helpful they were. Will definitely book with Sabrina again in the future!”
“Courtnie did a great job taking care of our 2 cats! She was timely in her drop in visits and provided pictures and a thorough overview in the report cards. We would gladly have her watch our cats again!”
“I'm extremely pleased with having Kimberly T. house sit for my dog, Jay! Jay is an older golden retriever with special needs and Kimberly totally took care of him. I could tell he enjoyed her visits and would definitely have Kimberly house sit again. She made Jay happy and safe while I was away!”

About: I have done some pet sitting for a few cat loving friends. “We did a meet and greet with Laura awhile ago and finally booked a day daycare for Boomer and Buddy. She followed up with pictures thru out the day. Looked like her kids had a good time with them. I know that Buddy is very active and will keep them on their toes. We have already booked a 3 day stay and appreciate Laura and her family giving our pups the love and care they need!”
“Pete obviously knows dogs and how to handle them. I was nervous for someone to keep my "so cute" puppy who can be an absolute Tasmanian D evil. My guy had a terrific day playing with other dogs and not missing us. Thanks Pete and Barb!!”
“Nicole is great to work with. She is very good with my dog. She takes him to dog parks and on walks and when he comes home, he is tired! She is knowledgeable and has shared some tips with me which I really appreciate. She communicates with me during the day and sends lots of pictures. I am very grateful to have found her!”
“Thank you Christina! I am pleased with how comfortable they were on their first visit with you. And that they spent a lot of time outside! My high energy girl needs that 😀”
“We had a great experience with Casey! One of my dogs was a little uneasy about going somewhere new, but Casey was great with him and it sounds like he settled in just fine and had fun with some new dog friends!”
“Stormy had a blast with Kelley & her family! Stormy loved playing freely in a bigger fenced in yard & going on multiple walks in a new neighborhood. Kelley sent text updates w/pics. I have total confidence in Kelley to care for & love my dog like it was their own. We will definitely book, again.”
“Patty is the absolute best. Our boy is reactive, and when we had family visit, we needed a place for him to stay during the day to avoid the stress of having strangers (to him) in the house. Oh my goodness I cannot say enough good things about his stay! She was so flexible with timing, which was great since our dinners and activities were very variable. She gave us lots of pictures, followed his lead on if/when he wanted to meet new dogs, and he was so excited to see her every day! She was responsive, kind, and the big yard to run around in was so so good for him. Patty is very knowledgeable when it comes to dogs, and asked all the questions that made me feel like she was going to handle our dog well. She gives full answers to any questions you may have, as well. We will for sure be using her again!”
“Our three pups had so much fun with Allie and family! You provided such a great sense of calm and were so welcoming - I’m glad our pack fit in well! We really appreciate the care and excellent communication! We will let you know next time we are in town - Mav, Vi and Jimi would love to hang out again!”
“Heather and her family did such an amazing job with Edie. They helped her ease into a new environment and gave her lots of love and affection. Heather sent many updates during the day and in all the pictures Edie looked happy and content. When Edie got home she was exhausted from a day of fun. I would recommend Heather to anyone looking for care for their pup!”
“Courtnie is absolutely fantastic! My little guy is usually a bit skittish when going to a new home for day care but he warmed up extremely well with Courtnie and her dogs! She is super accommodating and incredible when it comes to the care of dogs, very highly recommended her! Thank you so much!! ?”
“Great rover! We had our dog spend the day at Jamie’s place for the day while we had family over. Jamie was super nice and super thoughtful and accommodating with our dog. Would definitely go with her again in the future!”
About: I am currently working towards a bachelor's in Animal Behavior and Welfare, as interacting with animals and learning about them is a passion of mine. I greatly enjoy learning to care for them and then doing so. The degree im working towards is focused on the care of animals while educating the public about them. I grew up with a dog and have had many small animals as pets throughout my life, rodents, fish, insects, arachnids, frogs, etc. Currently I have 3 reptiles and two cats. Willow-Wisp, and Boiled-Egg are my cats. My corn snake is Copper, Blue Tongued Skink is Little-Dude, and Tripod is my leopard gecko. Both Boiled-Egg and Tripod have medical conditions that require at home management and care which has given me some skills in caring for animals with disabilities. They are not the only animal I have history caring for with medical issues either. Many of my experience with pets has been rescue pets, and I have had plenty practice and patience regarding them and behaviors post trauma. I am more than willing to learn about your pets needs and help medical or otherwise. I am currently focusing on college and have plenty of time to help care for your animals. The only day I will be unavailable is Sunday. I have a fenced in yard and half the house closes off by doors so the cats will not interact with your animals unless you are comfortable with it. Depending on your animals preferance I can ensure that I spend time with them or give them the space to feel comfortable and settle in. Any and all expectations set regarding their care and what food, toys, or treats they are allowed will of course be followed. I may have treats of my own I could offer them but will only do so with your approval and in amounts you allow. I do haveextra food and water bowels if you would prefer to use those rather than bringing your own. In the case something awful were to happen I have experience bringing animals to emergency.
“We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience with Rachel and her wonderful family! They looked after Jack while we attended a wedding, and from the moment we met them, we knew he was in the best hands. Rachel was incredibly kind, caring, and thoughtful, and her whole family made Jack feel completely at home. It was so reassuring knowing he was being loved and cared for as if he were part of their own family. We could relax and enjoy the wedding knowing he was so happy and comfortable. Jack was so well looked after, and it’s clear Rachel genuinely loves and cares for the dogs she watches. We are beyond grateful for everything she did and would recommend her to absolutely anyone looking for someone trustworthy, loving, and amazing with dogs. Thank you again, Rachel!”
“She did a great job with Lola. We really appreciated the last minute accommodation and she was very flexible with our time. Thank you again. Will definitely use again when in the area.”
“We couldn’t be happier with our first experience using Rover, and it was all thanks to our wonderful pet sitter! She was available on very short notice and went above and beyond to accommodate us. She even met us at a local Starbucks for drop-off instead of having us drive to her home, which made a huge difference in keeping our busy day on schedule. Partway through our trip, our plans unexpectedly changed from needing only daytime care to requiring an overnight stay. Once again, she was incredibly flexible, accommodating, and easy to work with. Throughout our dog’s stay, she was very responsive, sending regular updates and photos that gave us peace of mind and reassured us that our pet was happy and well cared for. As first-time Rover users, we weren’t sure what to expect, but this experience exceeded our expectations. On top of providing exceptional care, her rates were more affordable than anyone else we found in the area. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, reliable, and reasonably priced pet sitter. We will definitely be using her again!”
About: I specialize in large dog breeds as I have 1 Pyrenees and 1 golden retriever myself. They are both very well trained and certified ESA’s. I don’t have any special skills such as pet training, just really good with dogs. I am a full time nurse and I’m off every other week. I would love to take/walk dogs on my weeks off. I have always had a dog in my family. I’d love to hang out with your furry friends! I have two big loving dogs to keep yours company. We will spend a lot of time outside hiking and going for walks! If your pet is not staying at my house we will still have fun going for runs, walks, or being outside.
“Lori was excellent to work with. She walked Harley and spent time with him outdoors. She was flexible with us when our times changed. Would return again next time we're in town and will recommend to others!”

About: Hi, I’m Tia! I’ve been around animals my whole life—our family had dogs, cats, fish, bunnies, and even a ferret. I started dog-sitting back in college, and I’ve been a proud pet parent ever since. My husband and I currently have three rescue dogs, including one who is deaf. I’m experienced with senior pets, special needs, and giving medications. After 20 years in healthcare, I shifted my focus to something I’ve always loved: caring for animals. I left the medical field in 2024 and started my own pet care business—and I couldn’t be happier. I’m compassionate, calm, and reliable. I understand how much our pets mean to us, and I treat every animal like family. Whether it’s cuddles, playtime, or special care, your pet will be in loving hands with me. I left healthcare in 2024 to follow my passion—caring for pets full time. I run my own pet care business and love focusing my days around dogs! I treat every pet like my own—with love, patience, and care. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing always come first, always, every single time. 🐾
“Amber is the best! I'm so happy with how it's going with my pups! My chihuahua-dachshund is impossible to walk but just a couple of weeks of walking with Amber and he's walking without pulling!!”
“Audriana is fantastic! She gives my updates of how my puppy is doing on his walks and sends me pictures. She also gave me over a months notice when she was going to be out of town and not able to walk my little guy. Would HIGHLY recommend Audriana.”
“Christina is wonderful with our 4 month old puppy Dolly. She has been very helpful in the training and socializing processes. She is very kind, patient, courteous and responsible. Christina communicates all needs or issues respectfully. Christina does her best to accommodate any changes to Dolly’s walk schedule. We feel 100% confident that Christina cares for Dolly as if she were one of her own. My husband and I can not say enough good things about Christina. If we could we would definitely give her way more than 5 stars. We would 100% recommend Christina to all of our family and friends.”

“Had such a GREAT experience with Sav! She knows exactly what she is doing and was SO adaptable her first time getting to know our dogs quirks. Truly, it means so much as we have a golden retriever who struggles on walks and is anxious! We will absolutely be using her again as our dog walker!”
“Courtnie is so detailed and so loving to our pup! Fantastic updates throughout the weekend we were gone and we would absolutely hire her again! Thank you Courtnie, Aria is so grateful!”

About: Hi! My name is Mara, and I would love the opportunity to care for your pets and your home while you’re away. I have grown up with multiple dogs and have always loved being around animals. Over the years, I have also provided dog sitting and house sitting for neighbors and family members, caring for pets in their own homes, following their routines, and making sure they receive plenty of attention, exercise, and companionship. I understand that every pet has their own personality, preferences, and needs. Whether your dog loves long walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply having someone nearby, I will take the time to make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for. I also have experience providing more specialized care, including administering IV medication for an elderly animal I was watching. This experience taught me the importance of patience, responsibility, attention to detail, and following care instructions carefully. My background working in childcare, summer camps, and other safety-focused roles has helped me become dependable, organized, and attentive. I will treat your pets like they are my own and your home with the same respect I would want someone to show mine. I am happy to provide updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you’re away. I am currently a full-time online student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting, and I am happy to work with your pet’s routine to provide consistent and reliable care. I care for pets by keeping their routines consistent and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while their owners are away. I follow all care instructions for feeding, walks, medications, and playtime, and I treat each pet and home with the same respect I would want for my own. I am happy to provide updates and photos so owners can have peace of mind knowing their pets are well cared for.
About: I grew up with three dogs and later adopted Diamond, a sweet black lab who was my running partner until 2023. Since then my house has been "doggy camp" for friends, family, and Rover clients. I'm at my best with dogs who have extra energy. I run most days and love taking pups on adventures around Duluth — always on-leash. I'm also patient with reactive and anxious dogs, and happy to handle meds, senior care, and specific routines. You'll get consistent photos and updates, a fenced yard, and a dog-proofed house with no resident pets or kids. About other guests: I typically have 0-3 dogs at my house but can accommodate so your pup is the only guest - ask about a Private Stay (+$20/night). I have a flexible schedule, I try to run daily anyways, and my house is dog-proofed with a fence. I'm ready to provide a safe, comfortable and fun space for your pet to get quality care and exercise. I live in East Hillside Duluth with great access to paved and off-road walking/running routes. My house has a fenced in yard and I have cultivated a pet-proof home over the years. I am a strict on-leash walker/runner.
About: I recently moved to Duluth and while I'm loving settling into a new place, I'm desperately missing the time I used to spend with my parents' dogs (a golden retriever and a yellow lab). I was always around dogs growing up, as many as two or three in the house at a time sometimes, and still take advantage of any chance I can get to spend time around dogs - big dogs, small dogs, old dogs, young dogs, any dogs! I have two cats of my own - I've moved around a lot the last several years and some of the places I lived were better suited for cats than dogs, otherwise I'd have a dog as well by this point. I commute two days a week to teach at a community college on the Iron Range, leaving my Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays-Sundays very free and flexible. I'd love to help you take care of your little loves (cats or dogs - or any other pets, really, if you're willing to teach me a bit about it!) whenever you find yourself in a spot where you can't be in two places at once or need the extra set of hands! I teach at a college on the Iron Range on Tuesdays and Thursdays - outside of some travel to see family back in Grand Rapids, my Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and weekends are very open at the moment. I have my own vehicle and can get around easily - I'm also more than happy to transport dogs to walking trails in my own vehicle. I'm currently renting a smaller apartment that would make any visits in my own home difficult to manage, but I live close to various walking trails and love to spend time out on them. Spending quality time with animals is something that I find deeply comforting - I truly enjoy being near animals when I'm doing anything (reading, working, walking, whatever). I go above and beyond for my own cats and would treat your pets as my own. I'm currently renting a smaller apartment that would make any visits in my own home difficult to manage, but I live close to various walking trails and love to spend time out on them.
“Lori is wonderful with the dogs. Fantastic with communication. She walks them takes them to the park. Practice with the commands. I recommend her and we will be using her again.”
About: I've been taking care of pets for 6 years and have 4 pets currently. Bluto (olde english bulldogge), Ruby (rottweiler), Tibby (siamese), and Molly (longhair). I do have experience with senior cats and dogs. We can talk a long walk on nature trails, or we can go for a slow stroll around the neighborhood! I only do gig work, so my schedule can fit around whatever your needs are. If something ever changes, you can always reach out and we'll work something out. For drop ins, I'll stop in and make sure theres no potty mess and if your kitty wants to we can play with whatever toys are available. We'll play for a bit so they're happy and worn out by the time we're done.

I would love to do house sitting when my schedule allows. When I go to someone's home to care for their pet I will treat it as though it is my own pet, which is with the utmost care, kindness and love. I have a huge heart for all living beings including animals and humans. I am highly responsible, and responsive.

“Kate did a great job keeping me updated with pictures and even a video. I loved seeing how worn out my baby girl was at the end of her stay. I'll definitely be reaching out to Kate again!”
