About: Hi! My name is Allie and I've spent most of my life loving and caring for pets in multiple different environments over the years. I grew up with a bushel of miniature schnauzers, a few rodents and a snake. In college I took in a feral barn kitten and made her the talk of the university! After college, I spent 5-6 years working in a dog daycare facility which gave me experience with all different breeds and an immense amount of knowledge on behavior. After doggy daycare I moved on to working in a veterinary hospital which was an incredible resource and opportunity for me to increase me knowledge on medications as well as other medical knowledge. I have a 12 year old pup who is a calm, unbothered queen and a year old pup who loves everyone and everything. I grew up in a busy home full of different animals (dogs, cats, fish, lizards, bunnies, birds, etc.) and have cared for animals of all different ages and abilities. “It’s not always easy to find someone you trust to take care of your pups and I’m so glad I found Emily on Rover. She was wonderful and took fantastic care of my puppy. She sent literally hundreds of photos so I could see each day how much fun he was having. She also sent updates each day outlining their entire day as well as updates as needed such as when my puppy was having some tummy issues. She was also extremely responsive any time I reached out with a question or just wanting to check in and was unfailingly kind. I highly recommend Emily and would trust her again to watch my pups.”
