About: I've housesat and looked after friend's pets (both cats and dogs, young and old) for well over a decade and have attracted multiple new clients through word of mouth. I love getting to know your pets and keeping them company while you're away. I also have some experience with pet medications and disabilities for older pets. I work full-time Mon-Fri in Lakeville from roughly 8am-5pm, so generally weekends are best for me for housesitting (Friday nights through Sundays), though staying overnight on weekdays are just as viable depending on location and frequency of daily pet care. Drop-in visits are similar, though weekdays are much easier to schedule for early mornings or evenings. Details can easily be negotiated through text or in-person meet-ups. I try to stick to any routines or schedules you have with your pets (walking, feeding, treat giving, playtime, bedtime etiquette, etc). While housesitting, I'll usually stay at your home as much as I can during the week and almost all day on weekends to keep your pets company by playing or chilling with them depending on their level of activity. When I leave, I make sure everything from last-minute potty breaks to washing any bedsheets I use is taken care of before I leave. For drop-ins, I'll stay with your pet for however long you need. I'll also take pictures throughout my stay so you know your furry friend is doing alright (or if I catch them being silly!)

After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. About: I have pet sat for family members and friends. I also have worked at Wag’n Wash and have a lot of experience with all different types of breeds and temperaments. I know how to properly handle and deal with most if not all situations. I am home for the summer from college in the middle of May, and after I’m home I will be free most of the week with some errands and stuff I have to do in between some days. So I will be able to house sit during the week or just take them on walks or check up on them, depending on what the client wants to do. Monday, Wednesday, and Friday I am free for all mornings and days. Tuesday and Thursday I am very flexible on morning times and some evening times! I am will adapt to any routine your pets need. I am often pet sitting for my own friends and families and are able to help out with what is needed. Whether that be outside time, walking, or play time. If I know the routine I will make sure to follow it!

About: Growing up, I became the neighborhood pet sitter for all the dogs and cats on my block-- I loved it so much that I didn't want to give it up once I started teaching! During the school year, I can watch your pets if they are used to being left alone during the workday. During the summer, I am free to give your pets as much love and attention as they'll put up with! As a sitter, my biggest priorities are safety, routine, and communication. When I am house sitting, I try to follow your routine as closely as possible to try and make your pets feel a little more at ease, and I send lots of pictures to try and make YOU feel a little more at ease! I also love to spoil the pets I'm watching, so be ready for me to ask if your dog or cat is okay to have a pup cup anytime I'm picking up coffee :) As I said earlier, I am available in the summer to spend as much time as you would like with your pets. When I am house sitting, I treat it like I'm moving in for that time and will treat it as my home base so that I'm keeping your pets company, even if they're just interested in lying on the couch. I available during the school year (Late August- early June) if your pets are okay with being left alone for 8 hours. I know that sometimes pet parents worry about being too "high maintenance" with their pets' needs or quirks, but I promise that that is not a thing in my book! Whatever your pets' little habits and routines are, I will accommodate them as much as possible.
About: I have taken care of dogs and other animals since I was eight years old, but I have been doing it professionally since I was fourteen and have been doing it through rover for eight years. I’ve owned and watched different animals throughout my life, including cats and dogs of all ages, ferrets, rabbits, fish, reptiles, and birds. I’m an avid lover of them and am currently studying animal behavior and wildlife biology. Treats, toys, and enrichment of every kind can be found here! I am able to administer oral medication and am pet CPR certified, always on my toes to help keep your family member happy and healthy. I am currently attending Inver Hills Community College and am there from 8am to 4pm daily, with the exception of Thursdays being from 12pm to 2:30pm. I am available for drop-in appointments later in the day, and am available for house sitting on weekends or for pets that are okay with being left alone for that long. I have a fully fenced in backyard and if the weather permits I keep the door to the yard open all day, allowing your dogs to come and go as they please. Any other animal is housed in my basement, where I keep the screen door shut but open the glass door so they can have fresh air. I have geckos myself and so any reptiles will be expertly cared for and kept away from any stressors by remaining in my room, keeping them safe and happy. If I house sit, I treat your home with the utmost respect. Directions are followed to detail, and pets are loved just as much as they would be at my own place.
