About: I've housesat and looked after friend's pets (both cats and dogs, young and old) for well over a decade and have attracted multiple new clients through word of mouth. I love getting to know your pets and keeping them company while you're away. I also have some experience with pet medications and disabilities for older pets. I work full-time Mon-Fri in Lakeville from roughly 8am-5pm, so generally weekends are best for me for housesitting (Friday nights through Sundays), though staying overnight on weekdays are just as viable depending on location and frequency of daily pet care. Drop-in visits are similar, though weekdays are much easier to schedule for early mornings or evenings. Details can easily be negotiated through text or in-person meet-ups. I try to stick to any routines or schedules you have with your pets (walking, feeding, treat giving, playtime, bedtime etiquette, etc). While housesitting, I'll usually stay at your home as much as I can during the week and almost all day on weekends to keep your pets company by playing or chilling with them depending on their level of activity. When I leave, I make sure everything from last-minute potty breaks to washing any bedsheets I use is taken care of before I leave. For drop-ins, I'll stay with your pet for however long you need. I'll also take pictures throughout my stay so you know your furry friend is doing alright (or if I catch them being silly!)

I was having some difficulty with the long lead, and Riley immediately went up to her as if they had known each other for a long time. When Riley heard the dogs barking inside the house, she led Chelsie to the door, which was quite charming. I realized I forgot to mention something to Chelsie, but she responded right away. On my way back to pick up Riley, I got caught in traffic, so Chelsie graciously brought Riley out to me, and Riley happily got into the car without any issues. After we returned home, I noticed that Riley's card was filled out, and there was a detailed note, along with photos of Riley's day, showing that she had gone for a walk and played with her dogs. Overall, I would rate the experience as excellent, and Riley will definitely be visiting again.”

I work from home most days and love the company of furry dog companions. We enjoy taking walks with the dogs, either by sidewalk or park trails that are close-by. We have leads out the back patio door for quick potty breaks for your fur family-member as well. Dogs can free roam in the house or be gated to a smaller area per their owner’s preference. The kids enjoy helping with the dogs and are good at respecting boundaries and are not very loud. We have individual food bowls that are dishwasher cleaned each meal.

About: Hi! I'm Zaffer. I do pet sitting full time which means I can give your dog real, undivided attention, not a rushed 15 minute drop-in squeezed between other commitments. I offer drop-in visits, dog walking, house sitting, and overnight stays at your home. I have hands-on experience with dog walking and pet sitting, and I'm comfortable with dogs of different energy levels and temperaments. I've fostered dogs with behavioral issues and volunteered at dog shelters, so I'm no stranger to nervous, reactive, or high-needs dogs. I know how to read a dog's body language and adjust rather than push. I'm calm, attentive, and take routine seriously. Feeding times, medication schedules, walk routes, and any quirks your dog has are things I'll follow exactly as you lay them out, not "close enough." Because I'm home for most of the day, I'm able to offer extended, low-stress visits or overnight stays where your dog stays in their own space, keeps their normal environment, and doesn't have to adjust to unfamiliar dogs or a new house. No boarding facility, no other pets, just your dog in their own home, on their own schedule. I check in regularly, I'm responsive to messages throughout the stay, and I send photo/video updates so you're never left wondering how things are going. Whether it's a quick walk, a few daily visits, or a longer overnight stay, my goal is to keep your dog's routine as close to normal as possible: same walks, same meals, same schedule, so the biggest thing that changes while you're away is who's holding the leash. Pet care is my full-time focus right now, so it's built into the rhythm of my whole day rather than squeezed in around something else. Mornings typically start with a walk, then check-ins or visits throughout the day depending on what each dog's routine calls for, feeding times, medication, playtime, whatever they're used to. Since I'm home most of the day, I have the flexibility to be consistent and responsive rather than working around a 9-to-5. For drop-ins and walks, I follow your instructions closely: feeding times, walk routes, medication, anything specific to your dog's needs or quirks. For house sitting and overnight stays, I treat your home with the same care and respect I'd want for my own, keeping doors locked, sticking to your dog's normal schedule, and making sure they have consistent company rather than long stretches alone. I check in regularly and send photo or video updates so you always know how things are going, and if anything unexpected comes up, I contact you right away rather than guessing. I'm also comfortable with dogs that have behavioral issues or anxiety, from my time fostering and volunteering at shelters, so I pay attention to body language and adjust rather than push a dog past what they're comfortable with.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and puppies since I was little. I treat them all like my own. If your animal has been requests I can accommodate. I work from home at night time so any time works for me since I have a yard for them to play and live life I don’t mind hosting them in my own or going to the clients home to assist the animals I take my own dog on a walk three times a day so if I am taking care of your dog they will get enough walks as well

About: I have taken care of dogs and other animals since I was eight years old, but I have been doing it professionally since I was fourteen and have been doing it through rover for eight years. I’ve owned and watched different animals throughout my life, including cats and dogs of all ages, ferrets, rabbits, fish, reptiles, and birds. I’m an avid lover of them and am currently studying animal behavior and wildlife biology. Treats, toys, and enrichment of every kind can be found here! I am able to administer oral medication and am pet CPR certified, always on my toes to help keep your family member happy and healthy. I am currently attending Inver Hills Community College and am there from 8am to 4pm daily, with the exception of Thursdays being from 12pm to 2:30pm. I am available for drop-in appointments later in the day, and am available for house sitting on weekends or for pets that are okay with being left alone for that long. I have a fully fenced in backyard and if the weather permits I keep the door to the yard open all day, allowing your dogs to come and go as they please. Any other animal is housed in my basement, where I keep the screen door shut but open the glass door so they can have fresh air. I have geckos myself and so any reptiles will be expertly cared for and kept away from any stressors by remaining in my room, keeping them safe and happy. If I house sit, I treat your home with the utmost respect. Directions are followed to detail, and pets are loved just as much as they would be at my own place.

The one caution is if you leave your dog there for too many days, they might end up not wanting to come back home.
