About: I’ve always loved dogs my entire life, having one since getting out of the hospital when I was 2. I work with dogs, have dog sit countless times, and currently have an 8 year old dog that I adore I am currently a college student on summer break meaning I have lots of time to care for pets, I love them and would do anything to make time for them! I have lived my entire life with at least one animal in the house and I have been dog sitting on and off since high school. About: I have had pets my whole life that have lived in the house. We have dogs, cats, and even a lizard I have taken care of! I was home alone a lot so taking care of my animals is first priority and a habit. About: I love dogs and have had them my whole life, recently we had a very challenging dog that required lots of work and training, so I have learned a lot from working with professional dog trainers. So I have a lot of information and feel I can be very helpful for any dog!! I’m currently working with mentally challenged adults in group homes, I work every other weekend, but this leaves me plenty of time in between to take care of dogs! I love to play with dogs and get them working and tired. I will be patient with them, and if there’s anything specific you want them to work on, I will work with them on that.
About: I currently have the privilege of sharing my home with two cats: Phoenix, my 12-year-old senior queen, and Maize, my energetic 10-week-old kitten. She's my little soul cat. Caring for Maize is a little more hands-on. Before each meal, we have a short play session to satisfy his hunting instincts, followed by mealtime and either more play or quiet time depending on his energy level. Maize has been in new experience in caring for a kitten so young. We found Maize after he came running out of a corn field wide eyed and fill of cockleburs. It was never a question in my mind as to whether he would be the next member of our family, and now we are the proud parents of a 10-week-old, black kitten. It has been a completely new experience, but so incredibly rewarding. He has come from hiding behind the toilet and hissing at any movement, to demanding face to face nudges and kisses several times a day. It has been so fun to get to know this small, new little life that will create so many amazing memories for our family for years to come! Now, the admin side of kitten care has involved scooping litter boxes multiple times a day, keeping his space clean, and creating a schedule of healthy amounts of play and rest. I also regularly care for my friend’s cat, Remi. When her family is away, I visit several times throughout the day to make sure she's well cared for and has company. I love hiding her food around the house to provide her a little extra enrichment and always offer as many pets as she'll allow before she lets me know she's reached her limit and gets a little spicy. Every cat is different, and I genuinely enjoy getting to know each one's unique personality while respecting boundaries.
About: I've spent my entire life caring for animals (my own and others'). Over the years, I've worked for a vet clinic, the Lake Superior Zoo, raised animals on a farm, and supported various pet rescue organizations. About: I have been around animals for as long as I can remember. I have the biggest soft spot for them, and I have two dogs of my own. I have had my own dog since I was about 19, but have had outdoor farm dogs for as long as I can remember. About: If you are anything like me I find it stressful to leave my fur babies in someone else's care. I can provide a safe loving space for your fur kids to stay. Between a spacious home and a large privacy fenced shaded backyard for them to explore and play, we hope your pups will find our home a relaxing environment to stay. I have a part time evening job, so I am home most of the day until 4pm - 8pm. I don't go out much, so while in my home, your pet would have constant attention and supervision. It provides plenty of space for cats to hang out, including blankets, toys, and a big window to sit in and watch the birds. The bedroom is sectioned off by a gate, but my whole home is open to your pet if they choose to come out. The gate is only there for your pet's privacy, as we have a tortie cat and a corgi dog of our own. They are both very sweet and get along well with cats. We also provide litter box (not litter), food dishes (not food), and toys. But, always feel free to bring your own. And, never hesitate to ask questions!

About: I walked dogs with a company for 4 years while living in New York City. The company specialized in individual household care, walking only the dogs of the household at a time. So no mess of leashes, just one-on-one (or two) dogs at a time. (I even got to walk Jimmy Buffett's dogs while working there) I cared for all manner and breed of dog, from ones that never ran out of energy and loved everyone, to dogs that just wanted to sit on the couch and didn't care about other dogs. I love taking slow walks with Gibson, and allow him time to sniff and snoof whatever he pleases along the way. However, the weather in Minnesota is not always friendly for walks during the day. On these days I will often create enrichment activities for Gibson such as peanut butter/water "pupsicles", hiding kibble around the living room for him to sniff and find, peanut butter bones (when we are at a happy weight) and just overall pets and snuggles. As for my cats - Phoenix enjoys quality time most of all - so I try to carve out special time for us to exist in the same space, with pets as she pleases. She also enjoys playing with her wand toys, catnip in her cat tree or snoozing in one of her many enclosed beds or window hammocks. My 10-week-old kitten's (Maize) care involves more consistent responsibilities throughout the day/week. I play with him for a short time before his meals, feed him, offer some alone time or more play (depending on his energy level) and typically put him in his safe room for some time after this to rest. I repeat this three times a day, with the night play session being longer and more energized. I scoop the litter box morning, afternoon and evening. There are many days I have to clean his bottom, paws or space due to a poop fiasco - I have gotten good at making this quick and painless. I also spend a lot of my time redirecting and teaching the lesson "Fingers are not toys" (if you've had/have a kitten you understand). Overall, I do my best to create a safe, healthy and predictable environment for my little housemates!

Need more activities to do on my days off. I usually will have 3 days off. I have my dog with me and know how important he is. He is home. I prefer to go to the clients home and check on your dog and let him to go potty and or go on a walk.
About: I have had pets my whole life that have lived in the house. We have dogs, cats, and even a lizard I have taken care of! I was home alone a lot so taking care of my animals is first priority and a habit. I am a college student and working a seasonal job so there is times to for me to show your pet some love and taken care of! I have no pets at our apartment but we do live close to some parks and our backyard has plenty grass to play in! There is room if your pet has to be crated as well!

About: Hi! My name is Sage and I specialize in animal caretaking and welfare. I have lived my entire life with at least one animal in the house and I have been dog sitting on and off since high school. I am certified in three years of dog training and currently live with my lovely cat, London. I’ve never met a pet that I haven’t loved, and past employers would describe me as dependable, easy-going, and kind. My days are entirely open, except for the occasional one or two days a week where I am called in from one of my other jobs. I am also a full-time college student during the fall and winter time, but my summers are almost entirely clear. In my home, I live with my cat London, and four other housemates. If your animal stayed with me, they would never feel alone and would always have somebody in the house that can watch them or be there for all their needs. We have a lovely backyard full of grass, a back deck for lounging and sunbathing and a large neighborhood for daily walks. Your pet would feel like a king or queen in a castle! :)
