About: With almost 7 years of professional experience, you can trust that your pets are in good hands! I grew up on and around farms, so I have experience with pets ranging from dogs and cats, to goats and chickens, to lizards and guinea pigs and more. Now, I have my own little zoo at home, which includes a dog, a cat, two guinea pigs, turtles, and fish. I started my professional experience at the age of 16, when I started working at a doggy daycare. Once I moved to the Duluth area, I continued caring for pets through Rover and similar sites. In the last few months, I have started my own business petsitting and dog walking. In addition, I have done volunteer work through animal shelters and worked closely with dog trainers to expand my knowledge and experience with pets of all kinds. I currently work full time Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm, as well as 9am-3pm Saturdays and 5pm-9pm Friday and Saturday nights. In order to make sure that my pets are getting all the love and attention they need, I will no longer be able to do overnight visits on weekdays. I am more than happy to stay over on weekends and do drop-in visits during the week, though! I love spoiling my pets, and would love to do so with yours as well. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property. About: I live along the shore of Lake Superior, about 10 minutes north of Duluth. I grew up with cats and dogs around all the time. More recently I lived with a roommate who had 3 dogs (small and medium-sized) who I cared for during the day all week. Love animals of all kinds. I try to walk 4-5 miles each day on my quiet dirt road and also along Lake Superior right by my house. I work remotely and am basically always home, so your pet will have their needs taken care of! I work remotely and have no set work schedule, so I'm very flexible. I try to get outside and walk every day. I also have trails by my house to walk on. I have no pets and I live by myself. I have a medium-sized yard, but plan on keeping any dogs or cats on leashes when we go outside. I have a small-ish house but plenty of room for pets - they could have their own bedroom if they want!

About: Every dog or cat has their own personality, quirks, and needs. I've had pets my entire life and people say I'm a dog whisperer. I'm not really...I just understand what motivates them (treats, love, or praise) and I work with that. My dogs and cats were always like family, and I treat other people's pets like family. I worry about mine when I'm away, so I want people to know that I understand those feelings and that their pets are in good hands. I've also had rodents and reptiles, so I can watch after them too. I do this work simply because I love animals and exercise, so this is perfect. Lastly, I'm a retired government employee, so I've had quite the variety of background checks - you will find me honest, reliable and committed. I'm not boarding at this time. As far as caring for your pet in your home, I will follow your instructions implicitly. When I have others take care of my own dog and they don't follow my requests, it drives me nuts!

I am currently a full-time online student, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to caring for your pets. About: I grew up with dogs in the house and they have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was often left alone with my pets and my family relied on me to walk, feed, bathe, and play with them. I have also taken care of friends’ and neighbors’ pets while they were on vacation. Some of these duties included overnight visits, daily check ins, and transport to daycare. I will be leaving the country on June 7th to study abroad and will be returning August 3rd. I am looking to work before then and will be able to pick jobs back up once I get back. My schedule is usually pretty open as I do not work another job during the school year! I’m happy to visit your pups day of if I am available! I live right next to Leif Erickson park so I can easily take your dog for walks in a beautiful, outdoor environment. My house is very dog friendly and open so your pup can move around as needed. I am comfortable kenneling your dog if needed and will spend as much time as possible getting to know them and gaining their trust.
About: I have a love for all animals and spend my free time with my dogs and horses. We are always outside going for walks or trails rides my pups love to tag along. I work shift work so my job gives me plenty of time off. During the week and also a full week off every month so I get to be with my pups all the time. I allow all pets in my home and will also travel to your home and let your animals out during the day while you’re at work.
About: I have grown up with dogs all my life, ranging in breeds from dalmatians to terriers to labs to shepards. I am able to go for runs with active dogs or give company to the elderly ones. I have two dogs of my own: a 9 yr old lab mix and a 6 yr old German Shepard. I have had nothing but great experiences using Rover, and want to make sure others experience the same. Casey is very caring and knowledgeable about dog behavior and care. We will definitely ask him to watch Gia again.”

“I can’t say enough great things about how fantastic Rachel and her family were with our dog, Larry. He was there for 5 nights over the 4th of July Holiday and had the time of his life. Rachel was so good about sending lots of pictures that we really felt like we had a good idea of how much fun he was having. Rachel’s family welcomed Larry like he was one of their own and their 4 dogs did a good job of showing Larry how life on the farm works! They even took him hiking at the nearby Pattison state park and he played a lot of fetch in their meadow and swam in the stream on their property.
