About: Hello, I grew up with cats and dogs. May fur babies have always had a special place in my heart and home. In college I would watch my friends dogs ?pro-bone-o ? ( humor not extra!) I used to have a 70 pound Australian cattle dog/ Red Pointer mix. I discovered Rover and realized I could make a little extra income. As a pet parent myself I know what it feels like to be away from your baby. Whether you are away from home just for the day or on an overnight trip you can be sure that your fur babies are taken care of :) I recently started a new office job in the city with a hybrid schedule. About: I keep my home boarding low-key and personalized by welcoming only one dog, or two from the same family, at a time. So your pup will enjoy plenty of one-on-one love, play, and attention in a calm, peaceful environment where they can truly relax and feel at home. Working from home in a dog-friendly condo in Columbia Heights, I’m available all day for frequent potty breaks, companionship, and checkins. There’s no private yard, but there’s a nice shared yard with plenty of green just downstairs for some outdoor time, and we can easily do neighborhood walks. As a former puggle owner, I took care of my little Snuggles all the way through her senior years until she was 13+, so I have experience and can care for dogs at every life stage, including daily care and routine, bathing, training, administering medicine when needed, and handling their specific needs as they get older. I recently had to put my own puggle down, and while I still miss her, I have been enjoying puppy kisses from the dogs I watch, and I love sharing that same attentive care with other pups who need a cozy and reliable place to stay. My setup includes comfortable dog beds, a kennel for secure rest if needed, doggy bowls for fresh water and meals, and soft blankets for cozy napping. If your dog needs someone who’s home constantly and would do walks on a nice day, let’s do a meet & greet! I work from home most days, so I’m available all day for the pups, extra potty breaks, daytime and evening walks, play, and companionship. Once every two weeks, I may be out for a few hours at the office. I’ll coordinate ahead of time, give updates, and make sure your dog is settled. On Saturdays, I’m less flexible for check-in and check-out due to volunteer work (away for half the day). I usually let dogs roam free in the condo. They can follow me everywhere if they want, which most enjoy for that constant company. I can crate your dog if needed (for naps, meals, or if they’re more comfortable that way).

About: I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, skill levels, and with many different conditions. I've owned and cared for many rescues who have experienced trauma and separation anxiety. I volunteer as the head steward of a local off leash dog park. I've had dogs my entire life, currently I have a partially deaf sheepadoodle and a goldendoodle who is timid at first but they both love to run and play with their dog friends. I am primarily a stay at home mom of 3 kiddos that I homeschool. I do work a few hours a week at a local playground in town. We are very rarely gone from home for more than a couple hours at a time, even that isn't very common. We like to take field trips with our daycare dogs if the owners are comfortable: walk, playground, dog park, pet store, ECT. I have 2 very friendly dogs who love to have doggy friends over to play in our big fenced in back yard. I have 3 kiddos who adore dogs and are very educated on treating them with respect and understand boundaries with dogs. The dogs are allowed free reign of the yard and the house. We do allow pet on the furniture. We do have kennels on hand if needed for alone time, feeding, sleep, or in the office chance I need to leave the house while watching your dog.

I’m very active and happy to take your high energy pup for long walks (or even runs!) or just cuddle up with your couch potato. I also have extensive personal experience with cats. I do not charge in situations such as a missed flight, illness, or other unforseen circumstances that may require your dog to be in my care for a little longer. My main goal is to always treat your dogs like my own! Everyday I ensure your dogs are loved, and I try to spend as much time with them as possible. I have a large fenced in yard where your dog can run and play, I try to spend as much time outside as possible. If your dog is social, my dogs love to play and socialize with yours. I have a Golden Retriever and a Havapoo, they're both neutered and very friendly. Rex my golden is very gentle and plays well with smaller dogs. If your dogs prefer to be on their own, I can do staggered outside time and keep them completely separate, no problem! Feedings always take place in kennels or separate rooms, so dogs are always separated for that.
