About: I've cared for dogs of all ages, sizes, breeds, skill levels, and with many different conditions. I've owned and cared for many rescues who have experienced trauma and separation anxiety. I volunteer as the head steward of a local off leash dog park. I've had dogs my entire life, currently I have a partially deaf sheepadoodle and a goldendoodle who is timid at first but they both love to run and play with their dog friends. I am primarily a stay at home mom of 3 kiddos that I homeschool. I do work a few hours a week at a local playground in town. We are very rarely gone from home for more than a couple hours at a time, even that isn't very common. We like to take field trips with our daycare dogs if the owners are comfortable: walk, playground, dog park, pet store, ECT. I have 2 very friendly dogs who love to have doggy friends over to play in our big fenced in back yard. I have 3 kiddos who adore dogs and are very educated on treating them with respect and understand boundaries with dogs. The dogs are allowed free reign of the yard and the house. We do allow pet on the furniture. We do have kennels on hand if needed for alone time, feeding, sleep, or in the office chance I need to leave the house while watching your dog.

About: I have my own German Shepherd I have had since she was 6 months. As well as having been around dogs a good portion of my life, I do my best to be what she needs I work very part-time at a dominoes, usually only 4-8 hours a week, i do have appointments on Tuesdays, lasting only about 2 hours so I am always home and have plenty of time for your beloved doggos I do not have a fenced yard, but I do have a firmly secured tie-out and extra leashes for outside potty breaks and/or walks, as well as a 5 year old German Shepherd (she is spade) Who is very happy and animal friendly
About: Our family said goodbye to our 16 year old Jack Russell Terrier, Lou, and we are ready to open our home to our neighbor's pups for love and attention while you're away! Britt grew up with lots of dogs (and cats), and the whole family has experience caring for animals at all ages. Both Britt and Mike work from home full time, and are able to care for pets throughout the day and night. Our three children are in school and preschool in the neighborhood during the week, giving us several opportunities to go on daily walks. We have a large, fenced in backyard for dogs and our children to share. We do not require dogs to be crated at night or when we are away for short amounts of time. We do have a medium crate if their normal routine includes crating during short times alone at home. Our children are used to being around animals and know how to be gentle and respectful of space.

About: I currently work full time nights at a hospital and I am also previously worked in emergency vet medicine for 4 years. I have always loved animals big and small. I hope to get to care for yours soon! I am here to care for your pets in the exact same way you do while you are away. You just let me know how you would like me to care for them and I will do just that. About: Doggy Daycare: My husband Mark and I are a great team and this includes caring for your dog(s)! When you entrust your dog(s) to our care you get a 2 in 1 package deal! Mark works from home and has a flexible schedule, allowing him to love on your dogs, let them out during the day, and keep their water/food bowls filled. I am also available at different parts of the week to help out. Dog Walking: I (Megan) have grown up with dogs my whole life. I also volunteered at the Animal Humane Society as a dog walker for a year, interacting with and walking many different breeds and sizes of dogs. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes, from very small dogs to very large dogs (I used to have a 90 lb Bull Mastiff named Hagrid; he was a gentle giant who doesn't understand his own size <3). We view our jobs as adapting to whatever your dog(s) need. We will follow the directions outlined for your sweet furry loves. Mark is working from home and has flexibility to spend time with your dog(s) throughout the day. Megan works outside the home on some days but will take any opportunity to love on your dog(s) as much as possible! Doggy Daycare: We have a fully fenced in yard with a three foot fence. We allow dogs on the furniture (if their parents allow it!) and they will have freedom to roam our large rambler. We always use positive reinforcement with our charges and work to build the relationships with them; this includes talking to them as people and then answering back in a voice we imagine the dogs using. :) Walking: While walking dogs I (Megan) make sure to pay attention to their needs, when they need to take a potty break, when they might be getting excited over seeing another dog or squirrel, and their overall demeanor. I will ask if you're okay with your dog(s) stopping to smell the proverbial roses or if you'd like them to stay in the heeled position and get in more exercise.

About: My husband and our family have been watching dogs on Rover since before it was even called Rover. We've lived overseas a few times so if you see gaps in our reviews, that is why. We are very active with our doggie guests and would love to host your dog. We typically go on walks once a day and on weekends typically try to be outside more (as the winter weather permits). We're open to requests to take your pup to dog parks, bike rides, or walks depending on your pup's preferences. Both my husband and I work full time M-F but I work from home and would be able to take bathroom breaks or walks mid-day. If you needed someone to stop by and let your dog out, it would have to be within the Columbia Heights, Fridley, Shoreview area. We have a fenced in yard in the back that we take out the dogs to hang, throw a ball, or relax. Inside the house we leave it open range as long as your pup can handle no accidents, no chewing the kids' stuffies (it's hard I know!), etc. When we are gone, we do like to crate our visitors so they don't get into mischief while we are gone.

Beyond dogs and cats I have owned (or cared for extensively) birds (cockatiels), reptiles and amphibians (bearded dragons & painted turtles), pocket pets (hamsters, guinea pigs & rabbits), freshwater fish, and horses! My wide expanse of knowledge means even if I haven’t cared for your exact critter yet I’m confident I’ll be able to pick up any new information easily and will make sure they are well cared for. No critter will scare me away! PLEASE NOTE: At this time I am not looking for any new regularly repeating weekly drop ins/walks, so if you’re looking for a new daily walker I’m probably not your best choice, however if you need the odd occasional visit, a sitter while you’re out of town, a sub for the week, or something similar I’d be happy to help! I work from home which grants me a lot of flexibility during the morning and day for walks or drop ins. My evenings can get a bit busy but with enough notice I can absolutely work in further care as well. I’ll be sure to adhere strictly to any instructions you give me. I also will be sure to send updates and pet pics every time I visit and you’re welcome to text me at any point for an update. I’m an extremely clean and tidy person and will leave your home better than I found it.
